Thanks works a treat.

Any further comeback on the other queries which were addressed by TT ?

Sorry further query on this, i have done as you suggested and have the grouping i want, however i also want to look at how my VPIP changes as the table gets shorter, unfortunately i cant find a riase first in or open stat by position. I know this can be edited by position on the HUD but how do i do this in a report ?

Thanks

If you just add VPIP to that report it will show your VPIP for each row automatically. You can add Raise First In or any other stat you'd like - there's no restriction here and this report will automatically break everything down into the rows for table size for you.

I cant see RFI EP, RFI MP, RFI CO etc stats, i can only add the total VPIP stat

Because that's not how it works in PokerTracker. If you want to see stats broken down into positions, you want to add the Position stat - you'll then get multiple rows - SB 2 handed, BB 2 handed, SB 3 handed, BB 3 handed, BTN 3 handed, and so on. Each row will show the VPIP stat for the combination of number of players and position you want to see.

If you are using a 64 bit version of Windows and have a lot of ram then install Postgres SQL 9.0.x with X being the latest version. We do not support 9.1.x at this time. It requires some manual configuration, but your performance will be best using this method.

Hypers are categorized under Super Turbos, we do not have a separate categorization for Hypers (yet).

Hi,

just a quick question on "hand history view" while playing: I'm multitabling x4 and when I click on it, the size of the hand history window is really small (the same height of the table) and I have to manually enlarge it every time.

Is there a way to resize it automatically?

thanks!
Andy

Hello!

Is there anyway to search for a range of a certain suit in the equity calculator without having to enter each combination?

e.g. rather than A2s-AJs, how would I enter those in diamonds (I tried A2d-AJd but that didn't work!)

There's no way to resize it automatically at this time but if you leave it open with auto load checked it will stay up to date and you won't need to reopen it and resize it multiple times per session.

Not at this time. If you were willing to add AK and AQ as potential options you could use wild cards though - Ad*d gets you the ace of diamonds and any other diamond.

I updated PT4 yesterday and my anti-virus tells me I have a trojan every time I click to start getting hands. I followed the troubleshooting guidelines for my anti-virus but it still happens every time. I've rebooted my computer too many times to make sure the changes took effect.

The Hours column exist in the Results -> Overview - By Tournament report and Results -> Overview - By Date, both of these will give you the data you are looking for.

This is definitely a false positive. We submit our executables to all major antivirus providers unfortunately we still have issues like this from time to time. Who is your anti-virus provider?

Backup your database via File -> Backup. Uninstall 8.4, install 9.0. Restore your database via File -> Restore. Then everything should work properly. (Side note: if you have a 64 bit machine, make sure you get the 64 bit version of 9.0.)

As I can see in my Pre-Order button of my PT4 beta client the PT4 has the same price as PT3.
Which one to buy then: PT4 or PT to get free upgrade to PT4 ? Why ? What is your advice ?
I want to buy only a Holdem (all stackes) version.

Is the release delayed?
Also I'm eligible for a PT4 free upgrade, having purchased PT3 this year. Does that mean that after the upgrade I'll still be able to use PT3 on 2 computers and PT4 also on 2 different ones?

The release is still planned for today - any minute last I heard, there are just some last minute things going on with the website.

Yes after you upgrade you'll still be able to use PT3 on 2 computers - but you'll rather be using PT4 everywhere, trust me

Ok, just downloaded the stable version, and on the community page it says 'Your PT4 Code Is About To Expire! And will enter trial mode in 11 days'.
I've pre-ordered it and received a new code to use, but can't find where I'm supposed to enter it.

EDIT: Or am I supposed to use the code I already have until it expires and then enter the new one?

The reg code is the same that you previously used for PT3, you will not need to re-enter it.

The message you are seeing is an error on our web server, this will be fixed shortly from remote. That is only a warning message, don't worry, your registration will not actually expire. If it makes you feel any better, I am seeing this message as well. We will remove the message for registered users as soon as we fix this minor server bug.

PS: Yes... it is official. PokerTracker 4 has finally launched, it is now available for sale to everyone. We consider this a "soft launch", this means you should expect more noise from PokerTracker over the next few weeks.

The bug has been fixed. Hold down the control key and press the Home icon on the Community page, this will refresh the page and delete the embedded web browser cache, and the warning the message should disappear. Thanks for finding that little web bug for us!

The thing was PT4 was still using my beta code and thus the message. When clicking help>register there was no option to enter the new one. Contacted support and gave me a fix. So for others that might have the same problem here is what you need to do :

click File > Open User Data Folder , then close PT4 and go to the Config folder and open PokerTracker.cfg. Near the top of the document you will see a line that says: RegistrationCode=XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX. Erase all of the numbers, save the file, and close it. Now re-open PT4 and it should prompt you to enter your registration code!

Btw, congrats on the release guys!

PT 4 shows me stats for players I never played against(The database is new anyways). Last game at the start it showed me like 15 Hands against XXX but I never played with XXX(Also the database is totally new and my PC was reinstalled so PT4 seriously pulled these stats out of his ass)
