Does PT4 have some kind of limitation regarding performance as the DB grows in size? I'd like to do some MDA on, let's say 50M+ hands, and I'd like to know what issues I will encounter.
I hate H2N so I'd like to continue to use PT4 even for this analysis

There isn't a hard limit and performance will depend on several factors including the size of your database, the speed of your computer and its hard disk. Database queries on large databases will be slower but having a fast disk drive (SSD) will be the most important factor as well as having enough disk space for all of the data with free space leftover.

Hi Rob,

I'm having issues with PT4 and Pokerstars tournament summaries. 9/10 on Bounty Tourneys it doesn't report the Bounty Fee/Prize correctly, which in turn gives an error in the Buy-In + Fee boxes too.

This then usually ends up with incorrect bounties collected results too, so I'm having to manually go in and update based on the email reports per tourney from Stars, which is quite time consuming.

Is this a known issue?

So we can investigate that can you please send us this information in a Support Ticket along with a sample of the hand history & tournament summary files for any tournaments which don't work for you. By default PokerTracker 4 moves your auto-imported files to your 'Processed' folder which you can access via the 'File -> Open User Data Folder' option on a Windows machine.

is there a way to see the range composition of a line like hand2note?

For an individual player you can use the 'Holdem Hand Range Visualizer' report in the 'Statistics' section and either filter for the line you want or use a custom statistic and add that to the report.

I'm looking for the stat that shows how often someone folds OOP after missing delay CB (flop XX, Turn XF).
Also is there a stat that shows how often one has won at showdown after delay CB on turn (OOP)?

There aren't any built-in statistics for those but you could do that with custom statistics - see this guide for the basics on custom statistics creation and this guide for a deeper walkthrough. The latter was written for PokerTracker 3 but the techniques all apply to PokerTracker 4, the interface is just slightly different. There may also be some similar stats if you search the custom statistic forum or the Download Warehouse which can be edited to count what you need.

hello
pt4 was severely lagging and I followed a bunch of advise on database management which did not help. so i tried a new database and it was still lagging.
i decided to wipe my postgres and pt4 off my computer and restart everything.
now when i download pt4 and postgres they are not working together.
i read that the pt4 installation installs postgres if needed, but it doesnt. i manually install them and put in the same password and they still dont work.
i've now wiped them both off the computer again and would some basic step by step instructions of which one to install first to fix the mess i've made.
p.s. i got the postgres version 14 from their website and thats what i was trying to use.

The HUD is not showing for one of the players at 6max tables at PokerStars(regardless of the aurora theme). It is the upper seat that doesn't work. I have the newest version of PT4.

The missing HUD might be underneath another players so try moving those to see if you can find it. If not the missing HUD might be outside the visible HUD layer so you can try extending that layer and dragging the HUD back as follows:

1. Start PokerTracker 4.

2. Select "File > Open User Data Folder"

3. Close PokerTracker 4.

4. In the window that opened go to the Config folder and open the "PokerTracker.cfg" file in Notepad.

5.Find the section labelled [Hud] and add a line straight after that like this:

[Hud]
CoverOverlap=300

6. Save the change and restart PokerTracker 4. If you see the missing HUD you can now drag it back, save the layout and reverse the changes above (or extend the overlap value if you didn't see it).

there are a couple of ppl posting in discord that pt4 is no longer being blocked by wsop, has there been an official resolution to this?

What folder does PT 4 store hand hsitories that I imported using "get hands from disk" ?

They are not in the folder that they are meant to be in - C:\Users\SOME_NAME\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Processed. There isn't a PartyPoker folder in the Processed folder. I can see the hands in the PT 4 interface, but I was wanting to upload complete tourney histories to Icmizer.

While we did contact WSOP when we became aware of this issue we haven't heard anything definitive back from them.

If you imported from hand history files using 'Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk' then those files will still be in the same folder that you imported from originally. Only hands that are auto-imported via 'Play Poker -> Get Hands While Playing' get archived to the 'Processed' folder.

How do you include Rakeback (pink line) in your results graph?

For rakeback you will need to add a custom statistic and these are available for download in our Custom Stat Warehouse. To import statistics into PokerTracker 4 either use 'File -> Import Statistic' or go to 'Configure -> Statistics' and click the 'Options' button. Finally to add rakeback to your graphs see this tutorial video.

So PT4 uses the downloads folder, even after I have imported them from downloads to PT4?

No. After you manually import from hand history files the data gets stored in PostgreSQL (which is the program where PokerTracker 4 stores your poker data) so it doesn't matter what you do with the downloaded files afterwards. You can leave the hand history files, move them elsewhere or delete them but I recommend moving the files somewhere safe so if you need to import from them again in future then you can do so.

what stat do i use for "bet when checked to", specifically "bet vs missed cbet on flop"

is that called float in pt4?

That would be 'Float Flop' for bets in position and there is also 'Probe Turn' for bets out of position. If you search for 'Float' and 'Probe' in 'Configure -> Statistics' you can see all those types of statistics and when a statistic is selected you can view a description and formula for it on the 'Details' tab.

Hi, I am currently trying out the trial version. Unfortunately I don't find an option to include position specific RFI into my HUD. Is this not possible or am I blind?

In PT4 you do not need specific positional stats. You can add the normal RFI stat into your Hud and then set the 'Position' property to the desired position.
