Using v4.15.7 with ignition card catcher and windows 10.

It seems that the HUD only appears on the table about 1/2 of the time roughly but all the hands are being tracked. When I sit at a table it either appears immediately or never at all. FWIW I always start PT4 before sitting at tables and select "get hands while playing" prior to sitting. I sit one table at a time and wait for HUD to appear before adding another table. If the HUD doesnt appear I'll play one orbit and sitout bb to attempt it again. Sometimes it'll appear at the next table(sometimes the exact same table I just left) and sometimes not.

Whenever I go to Pokertracker+>Ignition hand grabber>status, in the box titled "Tables" it always says:

Status

<No Tables Found>

This is the case even when all tables are tracking hands and showing HUD on the table. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I’m using Ignition hand grabber within PT4 not the Ignition card catcher.

PokerTracker wont open at all on Mac for me after update. Tried uninstalling and re-downloading but same issue. Just continues to bounce in the tray and says not responding in the force quit window

I didn't really have time to wait 2-3 days for DB conversion and play without PT4.
Unfortunately cancelling this database change while it's in progress would leave the database in a bad state until it's run again to completion.

Switching currency requires the changing of 'My C Won' for every player/hand in your database and the database cache also needs to be rebuilt when the currency is changed so this will take some considerable time especially if you have a large database and it's not on an SSD but if it doesn't seem to be progressing at all (check PostgreSQL usage in task manager) then please report that to us:

Tutorial: Reporting A Problem

In the meantime I suggest starting a new database and reimporting some of your newest hand histories so you can continue using PokerTracker 4 at the tables.

Please restart PokerTracker 4 using the logging enabled link on your Windows Start Menu, reproduce this problem and then send your log file to is in a Support Ticket so we can investigate that for you. You can access the 'Logs' folder with the log file by clicking 'File --> Show User Data Folder' in the main PokerTracker 4 window and the file we need is the text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder.

Can you please reboot your computer, press/hold the "Alt/Option" key while starting PokerTracker 4 to enable logging and then attach the following file to a Support Ticket if PokerTracker 4 doesn't start:

--> /Users/{Mac Login}/Library/Application Support/PokerTracker 4/Logs/PokerTracker4.log

When I open the file dropdown menu I do not see an option for "show user data folder". I am able to navigate to file>Open User data folder. When I attempt that I get an error: Location is not available C:/Users/xxxxx/AppData/Local/Pokertracker 4 is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or Internet, and then try again. If the location still can't be found, it might have been moved or deleted.

I don't know why Windows is not able to open that directory but you can try manually navigating to your log file in Windows File Explorer:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Logs\PokerTracker4.log

If you do not see the AppData folder in Windows File Explorer then please refer to this guide.

Hello, been using pokertracker since it appeared and never ever had an issue.

Today, the new players that appeared on pokerstars zoom, their stats werent collected ( I still can browse their stats on the tracker, but it shows no HUD for the new players. For the players that i had played against before, it showed fine).

So I did a complete database rebuild, took a while and same problem again. I updated pokertracker 4 to the latest version, and same problem again. Is there any idea why this suddenly happened, and how can i fix this?

update regarding above:

It seems that in order to detecte the new players today, if i disabled in the hud options the date restrictions in weeks to ZERO it shows the player stats. If I put in to show hands of only 20 weeks, for example those players do not appear.

What is going on here? Or is some confusion regarding the new year of 2018 or 2019?

thanks

when I navigate to: C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Logs

Instead of seeing PokerTracker4.log, I see a folder titled "Archive", and two files, "Ignitiongrabber.log" and "Ignitiongrabber-Datastream-1.log.

If I open the "Archive" folder there are many files with the same names and at the bottom two more titled "pokertracker4.log" and PokertrackerHud4.log"

https://i.imgur.com/Udohr9F.png

Which of these should I send to support?

Also noticed something else that may be causing the problem with not being able to send log file from PT4. When I play poker I use the local user on my PC not the Admin account.

I am trying to solve the problem. It seems that even if i create a new Database the hands of the new players do not appear on the hud.

I think the problem might be in the posgresql.

Can you tell me which version i should install? The better/most recent version please. I have x64 pc and 32gb ram.
thanks

PokerTracker 4 needs to be run as administrator in order to have the access it needs to perform its functions on your poker sites. Running it as a local user without administrative privileges can result in things not working as they should. Once that's done the 'File -> Open User Data Folder' function should work and the necessary log files will be generated when logging is enabled although you may find that after running things as an administrator the HUD trouble stops.

Please do not uninstall anything. Are you using the 'Last x Weeks' filter in 'HUD -> Edit HUD Options'? If you instead set that to '0' does the HUD now display the players statistics? If you need further assistance with this then report it to us in a Support Ticket with your log file:

After I noticed this I tried to start PT4 by right clicking and selecting “run as administrator”. I still got the same error when I tried to open the user data folder.

Please make sure you are using the latest version of PokerTracker 4. Also there is a known issue with some tournaments that have a .5 at the end of the guarantee and an alpha version with the fix is available so please open a Support Ticket to get access to that but if it's not working on any tournament please report your issue to us in a Support Ticket with your log file:

Thanks for the answer. I will give those a try!

EDIT;

Seems to work on at least some tournaments.

Positional statistics are not listed separately in PokerTracker 4 but instead they exist as properties a regular stat can have. You can change these properties in the 'Item Properties' tab at the top right of the HUD Profile Editor window. Select the stat you wish to configure and scroll down to where it says 'Has Position'.

So if you wanted to do 'Fold to F CBet IP' you would select the 'Fold to F CBet' stat, and change the 'Has Position' item property to 'In Position on Flop'. This works for any of the postflop stats in our library. Also you can choose any of the 6 major positions (Early, Middle, Cutoff, Button, Small Blind, Big Blind) for preflop stats.

Hi there,

brand new to PT4 so sorry for the newb question... I did the auto configure setup and everything looks good. Meant to be importing hand histories from "C:\Users\Noah\AppData\Local\PokerStars\HandHistor y" and that's where my hands are being saved on PS as well. They are not importing though. When I have it running it just says "observing but not importing". It's working properly for the other sites I play on. Please help.

Hi, just like the 'average stack size' for the table stat. Is there one for the tables average VPIP? I can't seem to find it
