I'm not sure what you mean exactly. The graphs only show data from the player you have selected from the list on the left.
What i mean is i want the graph to show all of my data, from all of the players, to find out what my total profit is.

Also i am trying to use poker grapher but i can't find a .MDB file that it needs, could you please tell me where it is?

Sorry for the NEWB questions!

I downloaded the beta 10 and it said my database is in old format or smth like that and that some functions like import may not work. What exactly am I supposed to do now? Just ignore the message or is there a way to convert it to "new" format?

In beta 9 the HUD worked fine. I installed 10 and now stats are disappearing...

pokerace, is it better to re-import hand history files from the processed directory into the new database or to export data from the old and import the data into the new using the database management features? or it doesn't matter?

Please attach your Layout.pt3 file to a support ticket. Attach the screenshot as well if you don't mind.

Like I said, we will continue to add new features well after initial commercial release, and at a rapid pace. Being in beta is limiting us from doing a lot of what we want to be able to do.

The graphs already show this information. PokerGrapher will not work with PT3, and PT3 does not use Access databases (.MDB files).

You need to create a new database and reimport your hands into it.

Can you give me more details? Do you have player ranges set up? Blind level filters? Could either of those cause the disappearances?

It doesn't really matter.

i have exactley the same promblem, with an additional one as well. which is this: pahud doesnt work properly, it will only display stats for one perso, maybe two, and nothing else for all the other tables i am MTabling on. I did as the message suggested and thats create a new database but that didnt help with the Pahud problem but it was able to auto-import at that point. So it just wasnt worth it, plus it slowed everything to a crawl, very annoying. so i unistalled it, reloaded the beta 9, and now everything works properly.

do have any ideas, suggestions as to how to solve my problem w beta 10? should i just purge my old database. (dont want to )

And if I don't have the HH's saved? I know in PT2 I could export the DB into HH's and then import it back, is there a way of doing that in PT3?

If you need the hand histories from your existing PT3 database, in the Database -> Database Management window, there is a bulk export feature that will save all your hand histories to disk. To create a new database, in the same Database Management window, click New, fill out the information and create your database. Make it active and default, if desired and you should be good to go.

I did import all my HH into a new database. I also selected that database to be the Active and Default database. The HUD was not functioning properly after doing this though. Only certain players were having stats displayed and my own stats were missing as well. I went back to try to completely delete the old database and PT would not allow it giving me an error that I can not delete a database that is in use. The old database was not set as active so I'm not sure why it would not allow me to delete it. I'm not sure if deleting the old database would solve the HUD problems anyways. My HUD had been working fine with beta 9.

I figured out why stats aren't appearing when you use multiple databases. This will be fixed in the next beta.

Please reinstall beta 10, reproduce your problem, then attach the PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket.

In the Hud Options, try unchecking all the databases, then restart PT3. See if that helps anything.

I'll try that when I get home tonight and let you know if it fixes the issue. Thanks for the quick responses.

Do you expect this will this be the last time we'll need to create new databases before (or after) commercial release? Just want to know whether I should import everything now or if it's better to wait a little while. Great work so far guys!

I think there will be one more beta where you need to re-import.

i re-imported hand histories into new database, deleted old one and this fixed problem. However not all the histories where transferred, i lost like 10K from a 35K sample.

NEW PROBLEM: the poker tracker icon that appears on the tables is blocking the pot size amount in pokerstars. (just above the cashier)especially when i cascade the tables due to playing multiple talbes. i.e. 10+. so i have to put cursor over the pot chips graphic so that the pot amount will display. but this amount doesnt include bets. this is really slowing me down. could you look into this and fix it. (this wasnt an issue in previous betas)

i dont know what this means: attach PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket.
i aint that computer savy

Wow I wish I had come here and read about the loss of tournament histories before doing this update. Is there going to be a way to get them into this version quickly or do we have to wait for the next update before re-exporting the old database?

I'm getting this message on a few of my imports:

2008/05/02 19:19:09: Unable to import hand. Reason: Unable to execute query: COPY holdem_hand_summary FROM STDIN;; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: numeric field overflow DETAIL: A field with precision 4, scale 2 must round to an absolute value less than 10^2. CONTEXT: COPY holdem_hand_summary, line 4, column amt_rake: "1985.00" )

Those hands imported fine in the previous beta.
05-02-2008 , 02:25 PM
I get this error if I try to import my exported HH from pt2 or if I try to autoimport during the play

05-02-2008 , 03:06 PM
yucky. I'm re-importing my db, and I'm getting 17 hands/sec...
I got 10 hrs left on a 600k hands db

Using a quadcore Q6600, 2 gb ram, "normal" hard drive, i think it's 7200rpm.

Anyone else getting these super slow speeds ?
05-02-2008 , 03:21 PM
Yeah me too, I'm converting from PT2 database and getting these:

Unable to import hand. Reason: Unable to execute query: COPY holdem_hand_summary FROM STDIN;; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: numeric field overflow DETAIL: A field with precision 4, scale 2 must round to an absolute value less than 10^2. CONTEXT: COPY holdem_hand_summary, line 76, column amt_rake: "145.00" )

I had this problem at first too. It was just because PTv2 (which is where you most likely imported from the first time when you installed v3) and PTv3 store the processed hand histories in different locations. So from when I first installed v3 until now it had been saving the files in a different directory. You need to find the directory where PTv3 has been putting the HH since you installed it and import those as well. It should be in the PTv3 folder.
05-02-2008 , 04:08 PM
Converting PT2 db I get these a lot too:

Too many players in hand. 3243501 out of 3914898 (id: 3243501)
05-02-2008 , 04:36 PM
now it's peaking at 14.1 hands/sec, with 12 hrs remaining...
this can't be normal
05-02-2008 , 04:49 PM
How do I completely delete my old databases from my PC ? Not only from PT3 but also from postgresql. Thanks
