I don't think changing that value would make any difference. PT3 isn't even using it yet. I think something else was causing your crashes. Please let me know if you remember anything else changing.

As for the stealing focus problem, that's been resolved for the next release.

I thought that might have just been a coincidence. But yeah, it's back crashing on me again. It doesn't seem like a system resource issue especially when I'm using a different HUD and PT3 together with absolutely no problems.

I guess I'll wait until the next release and then maybe try to figure out what's giving me problems.

If you open a bunch of tables for observation, does the Hud crash on you, or is it only when you play?

If I get time later I'll try to use it on 1 and then 2 and then 4 tables to see what happens. At the least maybe I'll be able to give you some more details about the problem.

Hard to shift through this huge thread but with the commerical release will the importing of hands from PT2 databses be faster? Out of my 2,009 files (300 hands per file i think) this is taking FOREVER. Time Remaining 166:35:24. Sorry if this has been asked hundreds of times please dont hate me.

Would anyone be willing to help me set up PT3 and give me a summary of the past few pages or so of this thread, what new features there are, how the new hud differs and other general info? Frankly i don't have time atm to read the thread!

Of course i would ship them $20 (or more if they help me alot) if someone could get on msn/aim with me for a short while and help me with this.

What is the reason for seperating the Tracker and the Hud? I think HUD-functionality is a pretty core-functionality of any tracker today and while I'm sure there are people who don't want/need the HUD-functionality, the same argument could probably be made for a number of other stuff as well (graphs, ev-calculations etc).

I don't particularly mind the seperation (depending on how it's handled), but I'm just curious as it seems like an unneccessary extra issue both for the developer and user.

I suggest you wait till the commercial release. I'll be able to help you then. I don't think it's worth it yet if you haven't got much time on your hands.

The next release is primarily a bug fix release. There's a few more Hud features in there and some nice tournament changes, but not much else.

We are adding sites in the order of size: http://pokerscout.com

UltimateBet and Absolute Poker will probably not be released until a few weeks after commercial release, so early June maybe?

Is it possible to show something like "Villain BU vs. me BB: Hands calling my 3-bets" in the HUD as some kind of popup now or in the future? I'm speaking of hands which went to showdown not just ranges...

I'm ambivalent about changing the layout on actual tables. I like that it shows exactly what the layout will look like but not all stats are always displayed on real tables and I don't want to accidentally change anything while playing. A separate layout manager is still needed and layout locking capability is important.

Are duplicate seat and duplicate layout returning for the commercial release?

I'm reworking the way layouts are handled. Rather than having a layout for each and every table variation, there are now two: One for cash and one for tournaments. There will be profile support, so if you play full ring and heads up, say, you can have one profile for each and apply them as needed. This will be much more intuitive than the current method.

I don't have PT on my current computer, so my apologies if this is obvious, but it would be cool if there was a way to change the default font in the HUD (as opposed to changing the font per stat).

I'm asking cause you wrote here the HUD stats are/will be customizable and I would like to know if more complex stats are/will be possible.

And another related HUD question: is the HUD able to show stats based on villains actual position? So does the HUD "know" about actual positions and actions?

I can't say for sure if it will be possible or not at this point. I want to make the popups as flexible and customizable as possible, so who knows.

I can say for sure that positional stats in the popup will be possible.

Sry, obv my English skills are not good enough to ask what I want to know.
With "positional stats in the popup" do you mean that the popup will just include stats for every single position or does the HUD know villains position is CO and shows stats for CO?
