the numbers shown in the graph should be in different colors ...

if you graph a losing session the amount won looks like its positiv ... should be RED

and there is no "-" sign in it ...

It will put
February, 18

February, 2
February, 21

The same with months, putting the months in alphabetical order, maybe this is desired but I think it would be good to change this.
This will be fixed. It should sort by day, not alphabetically.

Yes, but a lot of the extra features may not be available (such as 3 betting, donk betting, c-betting, etc.).

It looks like at some point you uninstalled PostgreSQL. You must delete the C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL directory. Then, open a command prompt (Start -> Run "cmd" <enter>). Type "net user postgres /delete". Then let PT3 install PostgreSQL for you.

The fact that the number is in paranthesis means that it's negative.

Yes, it checks for updates. I guess when the site is down, it waits indefinitely. I will fix this.

So I imported like 50k hands and PT now its clustering the database. And it's really slow, I'm looking at my hard drive and I see free space goes from 2gb to 60mb (windows then alerts me to free up some hdd space) then slowly back up to 1.5 gb now it's going back to 400mb free. Why it's this happening?
Btw, it's been doing that for over 15minutes (before that I tried to import like 170k hands and I think after like 80k it crashed and gave me an error/ and while was importing I saw lots of duplicates, like from 300 hands 120 duplicates or something like that)

Quoted from one of the HM threads in reference to sng play. Will PT3 be able to do anything like this?
I'm not sure what was meant by "all-in" stats there, but the other stat is definitely possible. Though for that particular stat, you would need an insane number of hands to have anything remotely resembling an accurate number.

The setting for your own name hasn't been implemented yet.

You cannot change the graph like that within PT3 yet, but options like that are coming. For now, export it as an image and edit it with MS Paint or any other image editing software.

I would suggest either cleaning off your harddrive or buying a new one. Having only 2 gb of space left is way too little.

The reason the space is being used is because PostgreSQL is rearranging the data in the database to make queries more efficient.

If it's doing this for 50k hands, then how am I supposed to import 1mil+ hands ?
Changing the hdd it's not an option atm, since it's a laptop, I have 30+gb free on other partitions, just not on the windows one. How can I make it use that free space pls?
01-25-2008 , 11:22 AM
Ok i have pt3 up and runing but how do i get all my pt2 hands transfered to pt3? I uploaded all my pt2 hands to a file on my desktop but i see no import file button in pt3. I tried useing the auto import and pointing it at the file on my desktop but pt3 just crashes.

I'm sure there's a way to configure PostgreSQL to save the data to a different directory. I don't know enough about PostgreSQL setup and configuration to guide you on this. Perhaps someone else more knowledgeable can help.

Please read through our Quick Start guide. I think it will help you out:

PT3 slowdown, when PT2 is working hard
so i turn off PT2.
(doing dataminie with PT2)
01-25-2008 , 11:37 AM
That makes sense. Import speed drops significantly when PostgreSQL is working on other things.

I can't login to my PostgreSQL database. When I click connect it says "Database 'PTPGSQL2' is not a valid PokerTracker database."

Fine by me i just have old DB's saved from other computers that i'd like to have in there.
01-25-2008 , 11:48 AM
PT3 will not be able to connect to a PT2 database like that. Create a new PT3 database, then use the Database -> Convert -> Convert PT2 Database option to get the hands from your PT2 database to your PT3 database.

Problem with the PT2 conversion, it has converted all my Party 6 max hands to non 6 max limits in PT3.

So my NL ($400) 6 max is now NL $4 (along with any full ring I have played as well) seems fine for full tilt.
01-25-2008 , 12:10 PM
That software is sexy. Importing hand was fast and without issues. Navigating the software is smooth. Now I want to import iPoker hands plz.

There will be an option to take care of this in the future.

says same thing for me

when i go to database management and try to add a new one:

"Database 'LESSU' is not a valid PokerTracker database."

and when going to convert PT2 database a red text just appears in the box:

"unable to login to database (postgres). Reason: FATAL: database "postgres" does not exist

edit: I guess when installing I entered the name as postgres when it was LESSU but now I can't add it since it says the error above

any ideas?

any news on the mac version? sorry if i'm bothering you with this but i'm considering selling my pc as long as it's still worth a couple of bucks and going mac for good..

PT is like the main argument to still keep this box running.
