this hud is sick sick, however, it just crashed on me and lost all the grouped stats i saved.

i have this great urge to play right now instead of trying to work on this. how can i turn the hud off? i would like to go back to using dave's ahk hud for now.

There should be a button on the Auto-Import page that reads "Start / Stop HUD" (when Auto Import is running)

Quick question on the HUD that I can't seem to figure out -

Is there any way to move the Options button that appears on Stars tables to another location? This is the button that brings up the pop-up window "Configure Statistics...Save Layout...Reset...Review Last Hand"

As it is, the button blocks the Stars graphic that displays the total money in the pot, and I can't see how big the pot is.

just downloaded it..when i double click it it brings me to the postsql login thing though. i don't know the password and it doesn't work without postsql. wtf do i do? btw i had the beta 8 version before this and liked it a lot, but didn't know I would have to memorize passwords. should i uninstall postsql and create a new one?

As answered previously in this thread, the default pt3 password is 'dbpass'.

You can also edit your SQL config file to ignore the password requirement. Search this thread, if you want to remove the necessity for a password .

OK, the problem is with capitalization: Timmehhh != timmehhh.

Username *should* be quoted in the ALTER statement, but is not.

I am pretty sure this has been reported and was fixed in one of the earlier versions, but it looks like the bug has crept back in

Try putting quotes around your User: field - try with both single and double quotes. This would be a hack-job, but it may just work?

I tried all that and got this

Quote:
Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3 Beta DB1
Reason: Unable to login to database (template1). Reason: FATAL: password authentication failed for user "timmehhh"

same with single quotes? The T is gonna have to be in upper case, it still is not in this error message
04-12-2008 , 07:24 PM
single quotes

Quote:
Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3 Beta DB1
Reason: Unable to login to database (template1). Reason: missing "=" after "Timmehhh''" in connection info string
I tried fixing the "=" symbol in, but has not worked yet.

Another thing, I play headsup and 6 max. Needless to say HU stats and 6 max stats are totally different, so I have 2 different databases in PT2, one for HU and one for 6 max. It would be awesome If PT3 only used a players 6max stats on the HUD if you are playing him in a 6 max game. Otherwise you are using the 40/34/4 stats from a HU game in a 6 max game.

Ehh, I guess you are going to have to either manually create the database from the command line (and hope it logs you in OK as Timmehhh) - or await a fixed installer

It would be worthwhile to make a support ticket on the pokertracker site, attach the above screenshot, and point out they are failing to preserve case for this (and possibly other) SQL commands.

I'll point it out, but it would be better coming from you who is actually experiencing the troubles.

1. PT crashes if I reloads when config window opened on stars
2. I can't use betpot script because config button is on the pot size indicator

The AHK-HUD already filters for hands played against the current number of players (and -1), so for example it will only show 5 and 6 handed stats on a full 6 max table, and only HU stats on a HU table, when all hands are mixed in a single big database.

PAHUD with PT2 had this feature also - so While the current PT3 HUD (as we see first of all here) does not filter as yet, it certainly will in the near future.

Multiple databases should no longer be required imo.

Probably gonna have to "Stop HUD" button until this is fixed.

it'll come on automatically... there is a button for it under the 'import' tab as well if you want to turn it off...

Hud crashed and took whole PT3 down with it when I was moving a stat. Time to start re-importing the duplicates again. Dunno but did I miss the memo that said exception handling has gone out of fashion?

QFT - doubled up twice at NL$600 while trying to configure it.

Josh et al - nice work thus far, a few tweaks and this thing will rock ass.

hmm this time PT didn't crash and my grouped statistics didn't save. i would create the group, and hit the apply button in the stats tab. it would work for a bit then be gone. do i have to hit the apply button on the group tab too in order for it to save?
