PokerTracker 3 - Page 69 - Poker Software -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

- Winnings by month filtered so I can see p/l by # of players
- winrate, hourly rate filtered
- % sessions won filtered

These things matter to me because my winrate changes dramatically by number of players at the table and by site. When I have a bad run I need to easily identify the spots where I'm -ev and avoid them. I am probably the only lhe poker pro out there that loses 3.5bb/100 in 5 handed games. This information is necessary.

It wouldn't be hard to add a filter for the average number of players at a session. That might not be exactly what you're looking for, but it should be close.

I don't want it to sound like I'm complaining, because I"m not. I'm just a very ABC PT user that needs basic info like this easily. All I'm saying is that in HM the filtering just seems to "make more sense" flow wise. You set the filter, and every tab you click on shows only that data for that filter in 100% of the content of every tab. I just feel like PT should have this same simplicity with workflow, that's all. Feel free to tell me I'm wrong that the masses want it the way PT currently does it. Just my 2cents.

Enough from me though, I'll stop dropping the HM-Bomb in this thread.

just like to say, i don't see a reason for all 3 tracker software to do everything the same..........
i'm not saying what you request is wrong, but i think alot of player here would probly buy all 3 tracker..... i just don't want them to be same...lol
i don't want buy 3 tracker, where the only different is the brand name.....><

When will it be possible to only export specific limits? I have over 4million old hands from my old limit, but also ~2million from my new one, so I can't just delete the db and create a new one.

Yes, once implemented, you'll be able to filter by limits when you export.

I just reinstalled PT3, and this is the screen that pops up when I first open PT3:

and whenever I type in anything in the "password" field, this pops up:

OK whatever that's fine. I'm just saying the setup is fundamentally flawed. I just don't see how the winnings per hour can be different if they both have the same units. It's not mathematically possible.

Also in the "Sessions" tab when I filter "Sessions - By Time" the bottom row doesn't show the totals or averages. It shows the values from the last session on the list.
For example:

2008/04/10 13:00 | 2008/04/10 14:00 | 7 | 5.92 | 1.0 | 310..... etc
2008/04/10 15:00 | 2008/04/10 16:00 | 8 | 6.21 | 1.0 | 350..... etc

2 Session(s)_____|________________| 8 | 6.21 | 1.0 | 350..... etc

Real hours are real hours. You two-table for an hour, you've played one real hour. However, you've played two table hours. There's a major difference.

That sessions by time bug has been fixed for the next release.

I'm pretty sure the PT3 HUD is going to still have to be purchased separately from PT3.

In the FAQ it says they will be combined into one application. Not sure if that means anything, or if it has been updated.
