All In EV is a measurement of chip equity, therefore the All-In EV checkbox is only active when you are graphing for Hands Played, and viewing by either Chips or BBs.

I've been having some issues with my PT3 (version 3.13.13., OS Win XP). Over the last ~40k hands my AIEV line is consistently showing me as running above EV in almost every session I play, when in reality I am running either slightly above or maybe even below EV. I initially thought it was due to having purged a few play money sessions and accidentally some real money ones as well. In individual sessions I've noticed that when I lose a flip, the graph shows that I was essentially 0% to win the hand, but when I win a flip, I am running half a BI over EV (which is OK). In the following graph, hand ~183 is AK losing to 99 aipf:



For comparison, hand ~352 is me winning with a set vs pair+FD. Is there any possible explanation for this? Thanks.

Just installed pokertracker 3 on my vista laptop, but when i import hand history i get this message:
Warning: Unrecognized game type: holdem no limit ($0.01/$0.02) (Line #272)

are there any solution? I have the Beta v3.13 installed and also tried the one before.

Your post was a good start, but we need to know so much more in order to give you any insight on your situation. For example we need to know which site these hands occurred on, what game and stakes you are playing, is this a normal 100bb deep game or is an "exotic" variant, are you playing zoom, etc. You said over your last 40k hands in the post, but you only showed a graph of less than 500 hands, we can't determine much from this though... it would be best to send some example hands to us so we can import them and then compare your results to determine the source of the problem - or even if you are having a problem (we cannot tell from the graph alone).

Purging play money shouldn't cause this issue for you, and it shouldn't affect you if you purge a few real money sessions accidentally as well.

I can't see this in the graph, it may be true (but the calculation below shows otherwise) - we need to see the hands themselves to determine. If you would like us to investigate for you, please create a support ticket with some attached hands for us to review, I suggest you hand select the hands that you feel you should dispute the way All-In EV is calculated. But before you do this, see the text below...

Lets assume this was a $2.17 pot (roughly according to the graph, its hard to tell for sure using just a graph). AK has 44.7% equity vs 99's 55.2% equity all in preflop, therefore the all-in EV graph should display a drop of around $1.19 (rounded) - which means the graph calculation is correct.

What language is your OS? Where are you located, and what keyboard/date settings are you using? Is the poker room set to save English hand histories (We cannot read hand histories in any other language).

This has probably been answered but I really don't want to look through over 1000 pages...... anyhow, is there a way to have notes I have taken my poker site ( pokerview on the merge network) automatically imported into pokertracker?

PokerTracker 3 does not support automated notes import from Merge, I am not aware of any third party application that does this, but it should be possible.

In the meantime we sugest you look at PokerTracker 4, the notes features available in our updated application are much more advanced, it includes color coding and automated note taking.

Is it possible to get PT4 on a Mac? I che led not to long ago and it didn't seem like it was available. If it is not when will it be out?

My PT3 is shooting the Hud on the wrong tables of the OSS series on Winning Poker Network (ACR Skin). Its only happening with the OSS tables. Is there a solution?

This is a known issue with the Winning Poker Network, it happens because the network does not provide all of the information needed to properly plce the HUD on each table. Tournament windoes do not include a unique ID which matches the hand history, this means we can usually place the HUD on the first tournament table that opens, but any additional tables are not guaranteed. This is extremely problematic when more than one tournament type is opened at the same time, and both tournaments have the same name (this is a major problem for SNG players).

Winning has been made aware of this issue, they are looking into possibly providing a solution in the future that would allow us to find each unique table ID, and then place the HUD accordingly.

PS: If Winning adds this new feature in the future we will not be able to support it in PokerTracker 3, you will have to upgrade to PokerTracker 4. This is because we are no longer developing new feature support for PT3.

I dont play but 1 tourny at a time so thats never been an issue for me. It just doesnt ever pop up the HUD but it imports hands perfectly. Now yesterday i installed the newest update and the HUD has quit working for cash games also. Its importing the hands, the little PT emblem is displayed on the table but no HUD at all. I went to the support page and ckd every setting i can find but they all seem to be set as required.

(2) I have used PT for many years, it has players from Bodog, Absolute, etc....sites that are no longer around so i dont really need the info and it just makes it harder to use with thousands of player names that no longer exsist..I would like to remove just these sites and their players from my database.

I could not reproduce this a few days ago when I last checked, but when I checked again today I discovered the same problem you are describing. I do not yet know why, but this would suggest that there was a rolling update to my Winning test skin that was downloaded this morning which PT3 has an issue with. I have notified our developers, but it may take some time before the next release. Since this problem only occurs in PT3 I highly suggest switching to PokerTracker 4 so you can continue to play on Winning without any interruptions, all PT3 users get a significant discount when upgrading and if you ordered PT3 after June 10 2011 then you get PT4 for free. I understand this is not the ideal solution you were looking for, but at least it will work - and you will be using our latest application with the best support options. We release patches for PT4 on a regular schedule, but PT3 will only get incremental patch updates for fixing changes to hand histories (not new features added to hand histories) once PT4 for OSX is released.

I sugest backing up your database as a precaution before proceeding. Next you may want to export these old hands so you have a record of your play Database > Database Management > Export. Once you are ready to delete the hands from the old network you would then select Database > Database Management > Purge then click Advanced and select the networks you wish to purge.

Hi, I purchased PT3 and have installed it on 2 computers. One of the computers needs a "clean install" resulting in files being deleted and PT3 being uninstalled, as a new version of Windows 7 is installe. Will I be able to reinstall PT3 afterwards or does the fact that I have used the licence key twice mean I won't be able to install it?

PokerTracker's servers can determine that you are using the license on a new computer, we automatically allow this to occur. Our licensing server is quite intelligent, we know when there has been abuse of our policies, you won't have any problems. Good luck with the new installation!

I just downloaded PT4 and had some issues install postgres...i manually installed version 9.2. Am I going to experience and problems? Should I un install and install version 8.3?

We do not support Postgres 9.2, it is not optimal for desktop use. The best version to use when manually installing is 9.0.x (currently 9.0.11), provided that you have a 64 bit OS and processor, and you have 4 gigs or grater RAM. Since we do not support 9.2, you may find data integrity issues, we suggest you remove it and install 9.0.11 instead.

How do I go about putting a stat in my HUD for villains that shows Amount Lost this session? If that cant be done is there a way to put it in the pop up?

Table Session Stats are available in PokerTracker 4, all PT3 users get a 60% or greater discount when they upgrade. We advise doing this because we are only releasing bug fixes for PT3 going forward.

Hello!

After upgrading my PT3 to the latest, 3.14 version, I experience some problems with my HUD.

It simply updates real-time table stats at a slow pace, e.g. like every 25 hands. Additionally, there are no statistics shown for hero at all. Is it a bug or could I accidentally miss/delete something?

And if it is a bug, how can I switch to 3.13 again?

Moreover, everything looks fine on standard full-ring cash games. :|
