I am on a mac.

It says it's saving to program files/hh as if I am on a PC. |:

It says it cannot be found. Am I SOL for the hands I have played on lock then to get them imported?

The Revolution Mac client is currently exclusive to Lock and is not yet supported. The hands should import with Manual Import, but are not supported for live import. If this client extends to the rest of the Revolution network we will consider adding support for it.

is it possible to run HM2 and PT4 at the same time (2 HUDS/table)? will they both import 100% of hands when connected to the same pokerstars hand history folder?

We have users who do this, but over time they tend to switch to PT4 exclusively because it is not the optimal method of working. If you insist on using two HUdS, you may want to consider altering the HUD profiles to minimize the data shown on the screen to reduce the overkill of redundant info.

PS: this is the PT3 thread, we have another thread for PT4.

Is there anyway of increasing the speed of PT3?

I am currently using v3.13.9 and it's installed on an SSD, my pc specs are 4GHZ quadcore, 8gb ram etc so more than fast enough but it sometimes take pokertracker around a minute to open. I play hyper husngs and so want it to open asap as in a minute I could have played 15 hands and if I multitable I could be missing some info here.

How do I make sure PT3 is running at it's fastest?

Can you explain what you mean by "it sometimes take pokertracker around a minute to open" - what exactly are you trying to open?

The first thing I would check is that your cache is at 100% - check the status bar at the bottom of PT3 and if it doesn't say 100% for all game types listed then run Database > Housekeeping.

Apologies, I meant for the HUD to start. PT3 is open and is set to import hands but when a new game opens it can take quite a few hands before it shows. Minimum hands required is set to 1.

I was hoping that due to the speed of the PC + SSD it'd be fairly instant but it lags a bit.

Cache is 100%

Why PT3 doesn't have EV line for tourney prizes but just chips? Also how to undestund how many buy in you are under/over EV based on chips?

The Hud should appear after the first hand is imported. Are you starting the import before you start playing? If there are a number of hands to read straight away when you start the import there could be a little delay while the import catches up.
Do you see this is you start the import before you start playing, and then start a single tournament, or is it only when you play a lot at once?

In PT3 all-in adjusted results are only calculated on a per hand basis. PT4 introduces ICM calculations to give you all-in equity adjusted tournament results.

Can someone tell me if PT3 or PT4 features a mid-session hand viewer that allows you to scroll through the recent hands played at a given table with your mouse wheel or arrow keys?
09-04-2012 , 03:16 AM
There is no key activation but you can review all hands by choosing "Hand History Viewer" from the PT-icon menu in either PT3 or PT4.

Just to make sure: you're talking about this hand viewer that you load up while playing to see the recent hand histories from that table, right?

To scroll up or down that list you can't use your mouse wheel or arrow keys and you must select each hand from a dropdown menu? It's the same way on HM2. I'm just thinking about switching and I was hoping it's not like that on PT3/4.

Is the HUD working with zoom in pt3? Can't find any link to make it work.

In PT4 at least once you click the next hand button you can hit enter (or space bar) to go to the next hand while that window is active so you don't need to keep clicking. Also, the hand details window will automatically update to the most recent hand if that's what you're looking to see.

It should be - are you using our latest Beta version? Have you checked our PokerStars Configuration Guide on our website? It has details on how to configure everything properly.

Are there any plans to fully support the CAP games on Winning Poker Network? Right now the HUD doesn't display properly and whenever a hand reaches the "CAP" amount it is logged as an error which obviously doesn't save to your HH as a win or loss. This is an example:

2012/09/04 16:52:52: Winning Poker Network (Yatahay): Error: Invalid pot size for hand #90378748 (Hand #90378748)
09-05-2012 , 03:08 AM
The Hud should be working for CAP tables on Winning, and I believe the import error you mention is fixed for the next release but I will confirm that with the development team.
If your Hud isn't working please open a support ticket on the PokerTracker website and we'll work with you to find out why.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find an answer.

I'm manually importing 7 million hands in Poker Tracker 3 and it's abysmally slow. When the imported started rate was something like 120 hands per second. It has slowed down gradually hand after hand. After one day it's was about 70 h/s, after two days 40 h/s and now it's 8.5 h/s. 5 days have passed and as rate decreases, "time remaining" goes up, not down. Yesterday it was 110 hours, now it's 126 hours.

My computer should be fine (4 GB RAM, Intel i5). I've tried turning antivirus software off with no effect.

I'm going insane here! Is this normal?

09-05-2012 , 01:18 PM
That is actually a known issue with PT3. For this reason we recommend importing batches of that size in multiple runs. If you stop the import, move the ~3700 processed files elsewhere then restart the import on the remaining ~4500 files you'll see the import speed start again at the top. Batches of 500-1000 files will likely work much better for you so you might want to set those up. You can see the individual files that were imported in the list at the bottom and they're also in the ManualImport log file.

Thanks, that helped.

Hi guys,
I wanted to find out how to make a custom report/filter for flops.
Eg, from every flop recorded, i want to see how many:
-had 3 same suit
-one pair on the board on the flop
-had an ace on the flop
-rainbow flop
Not counting what is in anyones hand, flop exlusively.
Thanks for your help.

If you have any other questions, it is best to respond to the thread on PokerTracker.com. Additionally, you may find it easier to accomplish if you upgrade to PokerTracker 4, the new filtering system in PT4 is easier to use and is also much more advanced. Good luck!
