I plan on buying PT4 today when I et home from work. I remember PT3 was hard to set up and get running. Two questions, does it work on America's card room? And do you guys have live support to help me get it going?

Thanks

PT4 supports the Winning Network, which is the network that America's Cardroom is on. You will find setting up PT4 fairly easy, it includes a simple to use new user wizard that will include the import of your PT3 database. Converting a large database can take a lot of time, so you want to do this overnight when your computer is not too busy. Good luck!

re: PokerTracker 3

Ok sorry for this basic question that has to be in this thread somewhere but I can't find it, could someone tell me how to add the no. of BB's in a players stack to the HUD in PT3? I usually use M and do the BB's in my head but it would save some time to just have it there. I read somewhere that you have to download it from the site but I went through all the add-on stats on the site and couldn't find it, I'm not sure is it because I have a mac or somethin, also the reason I can't get PT4 yet! Thanks!

That stat is available for free download in the warehouse on the PokerTracker website - search for live stack in BBs.

Thanks Kraada I found the stat on the site! Only problem is when I downloaded the stat it wasn't added to the stats I could chose from... I went to downloads and clicked open with pokertracker and it didn't come up either, I'm using a mac I'm wondering are the add on stats only for windows or something like that? Thanks again!

re: PokerTracker 3

After you download the stat click Configure --> Configure Statistics in PT3 and go to the Stats tab and click the Import button. Choose the file you downloaded and click OK and the stat will be imported for you.

re: PokerTracker 3

If you're just starting out with PokerTracker you should really take a look at PT4. PT4 is much improved over PT3, and easier to use. PT3 is no longer on sale and will not be getting any further updates other than bug fixes. There is a free trial for PT4 as well.

To answer your specific question: are the omaha hands importing? Have you made any changes to the Hud?
To follow this up further please start a new thread on the PokerTracker forums where we'll be able to help you more directly.

It seems i did everything, but HUD do not appear also it somehow do not recodnise iPoker and shows that it is not instaled in my PC and iPoker is my main room so this gives a bit of trouble for me.

Please read the iPoker configuration guide in the documentation on the PokerTracker website, and make sure that you have the iPoker software installed in English.
If you're still having problems please open a support ticket or start a new forum thread on the PokerTracker website where we'll be able to help you more directly.

Hold down the control key to move any component of the HUD on the table. The table is locked by default, you can then save the layout from the HUD menu.

nice, you helped me a lot. Few more questions:

1. is it possible to resize HUD?
2. i have problem with refreshing hands on the HUD. I need to restard HUD to show how many hands i have played. Lets say i play few hands then restard HUD and it showes 5 hands and it does not show new hands and is freezed to 5 hands until i restart it again. How can we fix this?

re: PokerTracker 3

mauzeriz - If you continue to have problems we can help you much more directly if you start your own thread in the forum on the PokerTracker website, or open a support ticket there. Ongoing issues get lost in this type of thread.
Also, if you're using PT4 please post your questions in the PT4 section (this thread is about PT3).

1. Yes. The Hud will scale automatically as you resize the table, but if you want to resize the text in relation to the table you can do that in the Hud editor via Hud > Edit Hud Profiles. Select the stats you want to change (you can control-click or shift-click to select multiple stats), and change the font property.
Click the grey video icon in the bottom left corner to watch the tutorial video for more information.

2. The Hud should of course update as each hand is imported. Please open a Support Ticket and one of our support technicians will work with you to find out what the problem is.

I created a new database only for playmoney hands
What should I do to import playmoney hands only in the new database? (and the new database should be active or not?)
Thanks in advance

All you need to do is set the play money database to become the active database, then start importing hands. Easy! Have fun!

re: PokerTracker 3

You can't filter the player list but you can do that on the Reports tab by creating a custom report in the Player Statistics section and in the blue Filters section adding a filter for number of hands a player has. You can do that by entering:
#Hands# >= 200

To get all and only players with 200 hands or more (though you also need to uncheck Filter on Active Player and you want to add the Player and Hands stats at a minimum).

PokerTracker 3 & 4 are separate applications, you can keep PT3 on your computer while using PT4, this means you need to download and install PT4 on your own. PokerTracker 4 includes a new user assistant that imports your PokerTracker 3 database automatically.

We are no longer developing for PokerTracker 3, that is correct, but we will continue to provide support for the time being. Mac Users do not have the option of using PokerTracker 4 yet, so we still have many Mac users on PT3.

re: PokerTracker 3

I (almost) feel guilty being this lazy I have PT3 and intend to upgrade to PT4. I see that there is a regular and a small stakes version. I'm sure this question has been answered a million times, but what's the difference? How high of stakes does the small stakes version support? (As I assume that's the primary difference?) If I do just upgrade to PT4:small stakes, will I be able to upgrade to the full version in the future?

Thank you and sorry for being so lazy. (In my defense, I did a very quick google and didn't get an obvious answer).

This thread is for support only, we can't discuss sales of give links as per 2+2's policy, but we can tell you where to get the answer for yourself - visit the pokertracker.com website, click the buy now button, and you will find a comparative list. At the bottom of the page you will see the info u need for small stakes, click that link.

hope that helps!
