Then when starting the auto-importer i get an unable to start zoom hud error telling me to run pt as administrator and some firewall stuff but pt has full access.
You need to close down both PT3 and PokerStars before you run the installer so that all files can be updated.
If you still get the warning then reboot your computer and run the installer again.

If you're seeing this in the latest version 3.13.2 beta please open a support ticket or start a new thread in the forum on the PokerTracker website where we'll be able to help you more directly. We're not seeing this problem ourselves so we'll need to see your logs to find out what is going on for you.

By default the HUD should scale with the table in PT4. To turn that off go to Hud > Edit Hud Options > General Settings, and disable the "Allow Vector Scaling" option in the bottom left.

If you purchased PT3 since PT4 was announced last June the upgrade to PT4 will be free for you.

re: PokerTracker 3

In reports it's rather ugly how the aggregate stats are way below the rest of the stats. Positional stats, for instance, look like this:

Quote:
Position | Hands | My C Won...
BTN: x
CO: y
MP: z
EP: a
BB: b
SB: c

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

average: s
With a lot of stats it makes it difficult to see what they even represent. One solution aside from bringing the aggregate bar closer to the rest of stats would be to simply copy the title bar the shows the stats on the top and bottom so:

Quote:
Position | Hands | My C Won...
BTN: x
CO: y
MP: z
EP: a
BB: b
SB: c

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

average: p
Position | Hands | My C Won...

3) Is there any way of exporting an entire HUSNG match from PT3 in text format? I play on Merge network, if this makes any difference.

You may consider it to be ugly, but that is a personal opinion that is not shared by interface designers around the world. We use standard report design techniques that are found in reports that are formatted as a table, changing this design would not conform with standards, and in turn cold create unnecessary confusion. Take a look at any report in any other application, chances are it is formatted exactly the same as the report format choices we made in PT4. Whenever possible we embrace UI standards because they help lower the learning curve for new PokerTracker users.

Click Database, Database Management, then click Export. Click the Tournaments tab, then select the specific tournaments you wish to export. This exports the hand histories for the entire tournament.

I was comparing it to HEM.

It's interesting since I was wondering why I was having some discomfort visually associating the data properly on PT4 vs HEM since it seemed the data, as you said, had a similarly standardized layout and formatting. However after loading up HEM to compare, there is a big difference. The values on HEM are clearly separated whereas in PT4 they appear to have no separator at all which is likely what's causing the offense.

All in all I'm generally liking PT4. If the reports were usable in a more reasonably expedient fashion it'd be great. One quick question, how can I set a persistent time filter on my displayed data? I'd rather my database always reverts to the last 7 days. It keeps resetting to all-hands every time the program restarts.

Persistent filters are high on our to-do list, but they are not available yet.

Did you know you can alter the size of the report columns or roms manually just like you can alter the size of a column or row in Excel? PokerTracker 4 will also remember this preference once you customize the report to your liking.

PT,
General stats and sessions show ~ 700 hands played today, but graph shows ~ 1,000. Why the discrepancy? I did some refreshes, and I cleared the filter and refiltered. I have some hand histories that I'm looking at or I would close and open. Ty!

It sounds like something may be wrong with your cache. Click Database --> Database Management --> Housekeeping and run Vaccuum, Analyze and Rebuild Cache and let us know if that fixes things for you.

re: PokerTracker 3

Hi

I am on a trial of Pokertracker using version 3.13.2 Beta, Windows Vista 64bit. I am using Pokertracker for Pokerstars Zoom only at the moment, previously I have used Holdem Manager for Rush.

The hands import OK and quickly into the database. However the HUD is very slow to appear (80% of the hands). I use 4 tables of Zoom and play approx 1250 hands / hour. Often the HUD does not even appear for a hand before I've timed out Pre-flop. Othertimes it appears in 2-3 seconds though these occasions are rare. The database has just over 60k hands, all Zoom (which is not large).

Full Tilt Rush with Holdem Manager 1 the HUD appeared very quickly (< 3 secs) and I am using the same hardware.

Are there any tips for speeding up the appearance of the Zoom HUD?
