Really liking PT3 so far but i did find this error:




It has my $/tourny as -$60.02 but it should be $4.57 (net won/tournaments)

Thanks - that is a known issue which is in our system to be fixed. Currently it is showing a sum of the values on each line of the report, but it should of course show the overall $/tournament.
If you want to open a support ticket about this on the PokerTracker website I'll link it to the issue in our system so that you get a notification when the fix is released.

hi, i just changed poker clients to pokerstars and am having trouble importing hands, i ran through the guide on the ptr site but its still not working correctly.

This is the import status but it stops here and wont import any hands or load the hud.

I have a problem where the HUD shows up randomly all over the table in the wrong place.

I play 6 max Super Turbos on Carbon Poker.

I read that if you check the Adjust Qualifying Table Limits that would fix the problem I'm having. Well, I can't check that box for some reason. Auto Import is not running when I try to check it.

I have Poker Tracker v3.10 that I purchased. Can I upgrade to v3.11?

What do I need to Do?

Yes you can update to 3.11.11 at no cost, all you need to do is go to our website and download that version from our download page and run the installer when PT3 and your poker sites are all closed. PT3 will then be updated when you next start it.

I know I'm probably overlooking this somewhere on the PT3 site. But is their a how to or an FAQ on how to sync your databases? I want everything to matchup and always be the same on my desktop and laptop. It's really a pain to do everything manually for each system.

On the PokerTracker website click the Support link at the top of the page and choose Guides & HowTo's. In the Troubleshooting section the PostgreSQL section has tutorials on how to share a database between computers, or in the Tutorials section there is a guide on 'Synchronizing Databases'.

BIT OF A PROBLEM

i have started using poker tracker 3 after using up the trial,i purchased it the other day. I created a new data base which was fine and i was using that database for all of my play.

Im a mtt player,so results ect are important to me to be able to view etc.
I got two big scores in the last few hours,brag, but seriously,after i went to ptr to see graph/winnings they werent there...

i eventually found them on the original database that i had started on the trial run. i obviously forgot to switch to my new database when i opened up ptr3.
the two results were saved to the database thatt has NOOOO mtts and just low cash games.

Is there anyway i can swtich those mtt results to my NEW DATABASE??

In PT3 is not possible to move the HUD outside the table? In HM this is called "overhang", but i don't see anything like this in PT3.

I play at Microgaming with miniview, and this option is much needed in this table. Just 100 pixels would be enough.

You can export the tournament hands from the wrong database, then import them into the correct database.

Drom the database menu, click Database Maintenance, and then select the Export button. Select the game type, view the Tournaments tab, and then shift-click to select each tournament you wish to export - click Export Selected.

Change to the correct database, and then perform a manual import of the exported tournaments.

Let us know if you need further guidance.

We allow the HUD to hang 50 pixels over the edge of the table, I will send you a screen capture via PM to verify.

Possibly just you, we havent heard of any major issues. Please send us your crash reports and logs by submitting a support ticket on our website, we can attempt to find the source of your issue.

Any news on support for the Party Mac Beta yet?

The Party hand history format for the Mac beta is different from everything else they have released in the past, we have reached out to Party for clarification but we have not heard back yet. Once Party is ready for us to support the Mac client, we will add it to our roster... we don't know what Party's reasoning is, perhaps it is because the Mac native client is still in Beta?

That worked fine. Thanks a million. one final question.

i have 3 tournaments in my new datbase that i want to delete from the database because my internet died and had registered in 3 of the tourneys and only played like 5 hands in each. i got a refund from stars but just want to deete those 3 mtts from my database as i didnt really play them.

This is not a priority for development at the moment, but if you make a request in our PT4 Suggestions forum on our website then we will be sure to give it some thought.

I believe they're moved to a folder like C:\HMArchive.

hey guys i downloaded PT3 to use the free trial see what its like etc but i cant make it work because i havent downloaded postgres so i download that an when i set it up say enter password but i dont know the password or havent been given 1 whats the problem its in this thread somewhere but dont wanna look through 100s of pages!

ive set up pt3 now imported my hands manually because my ongame account saves hhs in the wrong place how do i fix that also once i imported the hands how do i look at all in ev graphs do seem to have the options?

Check out the OnGame Configuration Guide on the PokerTracker website - click Products at the top of the page and then Guides.

Make sure you're using v3.11.11 Beta and view the graph by hands to be able to enable the all-in EV option.
