We are not getting as many queries as you may suspect, because BETA 3.11.7 was released early to support the planned PolerStars change. The memory grabber problem is a separate issue, the memory grabber is a convenient tool - but it is not a mandatory tool to play and use a HUD on stars.

With that said, we are already working on an fix to support the memory grabber issue, it will be released once we are complete with testing

This error implies that PostgreSQL is not running properly. Try to start the service from the Applications -> PostgreSQL 8.4 folder - it will likely fail. When it does, open up Console and tell me what the error message you find there is - that will give us a lot more information about why the server is not able to start.

PokerTracker 3 BETA 3.11.8 was just released, it includes the fix for the PokerStars Memory Grabber problem. If you play on PokerStars, please upgrade to this BETA to assure your workflow is uninterrupted.

For those of you who disabled the memory grabber, it is safe to use the memory grabber once again once you install this update.

I was on v3.10 for a couple days, it recorded all my hands up until the last session of 1160 hands. I updated to v3.11.7 then .8. I played all day yesterday and my PokerTracker graph stop at 1160 hands. Is there a way to update this to show my latest stats?

Did PokerTracker report it was importing the hands yesterday and today? If not, please run a manual import on your Processed folder - you can find the folder location on the Auto Import --> Preferences tab. That is where all of the processed hand histories go and if the hands were not imported running the manual import on that directory should get them into PT3 for you.

Do I import from File or Directory? I can see the Processed folder and the dates I played on. I selected the date and after that it said something about House Keeping. I said okay and then it said something like vacuuming. This didn't sound good so I immediately cancelled it.

Please clarify.

Also, why do I need to manually import when I select "Begin Auto Import" before I start a new session?

Edit: I just manually imported yesterday and today. Nothing has updated on the graph. It only shows about 6-7 hands on each day. Help?

Then please attach those files to a support ticket on our website and we'll look into what could be going wrong for you further.

Hi Kraada,

I have recently updated PokerStars, and I could not use PT3 ever since. It seemed like the hands are not properly imported and there aren't stats appearing on PS. Please help!

Alright I have downloaded the 3.11.8 beta and the problem is fixed. Thanks

I gotta tell you I am disappointed that it's been more than a month and two updates after I pointed out the code for importing knockout bounties in PS history audits and that bug hasn't been fixed and in my mind looks as a very easy fix.

Never mind the ability of importing tourney types through the audits which should also be fixed in my view.

Did you submit a support ticket for this, or was this requested via a post? If we know where to look, we can investigate.
01-12-2012 , 04:41 PM
No, I didn't send a support ticket, but I reported the code for bounties and you told me it was going to be fixed. Also, like I said, it would awesome if tourney types could be imported through history audits.

I have asked WhiteRider to respond at his earliest convenience with a status report for you.

PS: In the future a support ticket as requested by WhiteRider here would be your best bet, it is much easier for us to track issues such as this when the request is not in a forum post. thanx in advance!

Yeah, I don't want to pin this whiterider because he's always been very responsive and very accommodating with any sort of demand I ve made.

What I understood from his answer was that my feedback had gone to the development team and they had responded that the bounty code was going to be fixed.

WhiteRider is the person who manages the bug list for the development team, that is why he is the best person suited to respond. He will be with you when he gets back to work (he is located in Europe).

Please attach the hand history file which gives this error to a support ticket on the PokerTracker website so that we can see what is going on.

leviathan74 - that is in our system to be addressed. I will talk to the developer it is assigned to and see if I can find out when this is likely to be done. Tournament support is being extended further in PT4 and I expect this will be part of that.
EDIT: One further thing: the audit file example I have doesn't specify that the payments are for bounties, so I'm not sure exactly how we'll be able to handle this. If you have an example which does specify that please do attach it to a support ticket and I'll pass that on to the development team too. When we're adding new functionality like this having examples really helps.

I am getting the same message with HEM 2 AND PT3 its sayingHEM can't connect to the postresql database serve. This will try to help find a solution, but it does not help find any kind of solution. Can anyone help? These are the free trials.

Thanks
