I see people posting hand histories with the note "Hand converted by PokerTracker 3". Here is an example..

I've been searching around for this hand converter but haven't yet found it. Any advice?

If you double click any hand in PT3 you'll get the hand details window. If you go to the Hand Formatted tab the buttons there will copy it for you in a forum or text format. You can set the details of how you'd like it to display via the Options button's drop down.

You can also access this via the HUD's PT icon.

I have problem with Everest tournament. Everytime I moved to another table, the HUD stopped and I must click "start auto import" to be able to see HUD. It a little annoying. Is it normal?

Is it possible to change "player icon" during play? (fish, LAG, calling station, etc)

I don't remember the detail for Everest specifically, but this normally occurs when the poker site doesn't write the new table number to the hand history file after you are moved, so PT3 can't find the new table window, or they write the new table number to the HH but do not update the table window.
Stop/starting the import or closing and reopening the table window between hands will correct this.

The icon can't be changed at the table but you can change it in the tracker by selecting the player and changing their icon on the General tab.

hey,

my hud on pt3 is showing me my own stats but none of the other players' stats. pt3 is importing every hand. strange problem. help? i'm using the newest beta, 3.11.5.

Can we assign temporary sign to a player?

for example: a player get bad bead 2 times in a row, and I think he is in spewy/tilt mode. I want to give him a sign code (maybe colour code) on all tables for this session only. The sign code should be dissapear next session.

I sign up at PT3 official forum 2 days ago, but did not received the email confirmation yet. Can you help me?

It is possible that you accidentally changed your HUD config so that the stats are 'show on table for hero only', although it's more likely to be an issue with an out of date cache. Check whether it says 100% for all sections in the status bar at the bottom of PT3 and if not then run Database > Housekeeping.

That isn't currently possible - it's an interesting idea, though, and I will mention it to the development team for consideration.

thank you for the quick response. strangely, the problem fixed itself after i made the post. i then ran housekeeping to be sure it would continue working well.

Sorry if this has been asked. Tried searching forums but couldn't find what I was looking for. Are there any mac users running pt3 on merge that can't get the Adjust Qualifying table limits box to be checked? auto-import is not running and I still can't check the box. Help!

Which version of PT3 are you using? There was a version a little while ago where a couple of import options were accidentally disabled, but it is working in the latest 3.11.5 Beta version, so if you don't have that please update.

I've come to realise that PT3 is messing up the 'Fold to 3bet %' I see for all players. I've always thought it was slightly large, and making people appear to fold more, so I checked and it turns out that rather than simply recording when a player raises and then folds to a 3bet, it actually records every time a player cold-folds to a 3bet ahead of them having had no involvement in the action!

Any idea whether this is a glitch in version 3.10 or was the software actually designed to record this way..? If so I think it's a very misleading statistical property which needs to be changed.

What exactly are you having problems with?

There is another built-in stat called "Fold to PF 3Bet When Raised" which does what you want.
(I can't remember exactly when it was added so if you don't see it please update to the latest version 3.11.5 Beta.)

What is an appropriate number for minimum hands setting for viewing a player's HUD?

Ex. If I set it to 50 then the HUD will not be shown for players with less than 50 hands of stats

It really depends on your preference as to how early you want to start looking at the stats. Some stats converge much more quickly than others, so VP$IP and PFR will start to be representative before 50 hands, but some other stats will take much longer than that.
As long as you keep in mind the sample size you have there's no harm in having the stats appear quite early - you need to think about sample size for the non-headline stats anyway until you get thousands of hands on a player.

Must be so obvious but I spent bloody 20 minutes trying to find this out, read the userguide, EVERYTHING...

How the hell do I change my seat position? haha its so lame and basic.... but please, I am going crazy trying to find this out.

For PartyPoker's Pokerfest tournaments that started today, the HUD and hand importing did not work. It may be caused by having a colon ":" in the name of all 47 Pokerfest tournament names (will end on November 6), e.g., "Pokerfest #1: $300,000 Gtd NLH". Can you please fix this or suggest a workaround?

Hey guys i need help fixing my pt3 to work on true poker im having problems, will give 5$ to someone who can help me fix it on teamviewer, ty!

So switching to the new beta version allowed me to check the adjust qualifying table limits box, but the HUD stats still don't properly appear over the correct player. Why is that?

Please check the Yatahay Netwrk Configuration guide in the Guides & How To's section of the PokerTracker website. If you still have problems please start a new thread in the forum on the PokerTracker website and tell us what you're having problems with and we'll get you sorted.


You can right-click-drag the stats to the correct places and then PT-icon > Save Layout.
If you're using preferred seating please read the Preferred Seating Tutorial in the FAQs and Tutorials forum on the PokerTracker website - the Troubleshooting section of that tutorial may help whether or not you're using preferred seating.
