The Pokertracker 3 HUD is unusable when loading more than 12 tables on my computer it just lags the crap out of everything causing lots of miss-clicks.I have windows 7 ultimate 64bit with a system rating of 3.4 I also use an 8gig flash drive with readyboost enabled.I have the latest postgres version and I have maintained my database properly.I have tried setting all of the processes associated with pokertracker to high priority but this has not worked.Do you have any other suggestion for me?

Check the HUD FAQ on the PokerTracker forum for further tuning tips but if you continue to have problems please send us your log files so that we can investigate further. There is a tutorial in the same FAQs subforum about how to report your problem.

hi,

i keep getting this message when i try to connect to the server? any help would be great.

07-21-2011 , 04:02 AM
That suggests that PostgreSQL isn't installed or isn't running.
Click Start (on XP click Run) and type "services.msc" - do you see the PostgreSQL service in the list?
Can you start it?
If not, do you get any errors in the Event Viewer? (open via Control Panel)

One thing that can cause this kind of issue is an overzealous firewall so please read the Firewall Guide in the Documentation on the PokerTracker website.

A total system rating is not a good measurement of your computer, as it uses the lowest performing component to weigh down the entire result. Most entry level computers can achieve a system rating over over 4 at this stage, so although it is a poor measurement scale it has me concerned none the less. Can you post the measurement for each of your system's components?

Is it possible to purchase a license by transferring funds from a Pokerstars account?
07-21-2011 , 10:47 PM
How can I add VPIP + PFR and WTSD etc stats into the Tournaments > Winnings window? It would greatly help my session reviews to see which days I was faltering on in a simple manner.

I can't find anything about this in any of the FAQs or online either and it's driving me a bit crazy. Thanks

No it is not - we cannot accept site transfers as payments.

That is not possible because those reports are in the Holdem Tournament Tournaments section - the statistics you are trying to display (VP$IP et al) are Holdem Tournament Player Statistics stats. Statistics from only one section can be shown in any given report.

However, you can create a custom report that will give you the date and your winnings and group by whatever time block you would like - see the Tutorial: Using Custom Statistics and Reports for more on creating detailed custom reports like these.

How do I get the HUD to go to the right person like I can do in HEM?
07-25-2011 , 06:36 AM
On the Auto Import tab select your site and click on the Configuration tab where you can set your preferred seat.
Please read the "Preferred Seating" tutorial in the FAQs and Tutorials forum on the PokerTracker website for more information.

Wondering if Pokertracker will have an iphone app like HM2. Would be awesome to sync last 50K hands and watch them on my phone.

I'm not aware of any iPhone plans at the moment, but this could change in the future.

Housekeeping takes a extreme long time.
5 days ago i wanted to transfer my HEM database( about 4mio hands) from my desktop to my PT3 on my laptop.
i saved a text file with all the files from HEM and copied that file to my laptop.
i manually imported them into PT3 ( took over 24 hours), and now it is housekeeping since over 60 hours !!( yes no type- mistake over 60 hours !! )
and it has only housekeeped approximately half of the data.
i have no other programm running on the laptop, just PT3 for 3 days now.
in the last30 hours the bar rised maybe 7- 8%.
What can i do to make it faster ?
when i end it what problems will occur when i satrt to play ?
which hands get housekeeped at first the oldest or the newest HH ?

Click the Filters button and set the date range you're interested in on the main filters tab.
See the filters tutorial in the FAQs and Tutorials forum on the PokerTracker website for more information on using filters.

Does the EV adjusted stat work correctly for Bodog? I just hand an all-in hand where neither player was drawing dead but the adjusted EV is 0. I can post the hand if you would like. Thanks
07-27-2011 , 07:19 PM
How come there is no stat to show how many BB you have left? Would be really good to have that option.

This will be re-introduced in the next release.
Currently no all-in EV values are calculated for Bodog.

This is available for free download from the Get More section of the PokerTracker website.

Sorry if this has been addressed already. When importing Merge tournaments, I often get errors about pot sizes. I believe this is due to merge writing stack sizes after blinds and antes are posted (so you get into weirdness when the stacks fall below 1bb, for example). When this happens on a bust-out hand, the tournament is not properly assigned buy-in, table-type, and placing.

Also, has the EV calculations for 6-max tournaments been corrected for the Merge 70/30 payout structure? (running v3.11.3 beta)

Thanks for your time!

Please compress the full original hand history files for a few of these errors and attach them to a support ticket in the support section of the PokerTracker website and we'll check them out. There do seem to be a number of genuine errors in Merge hand histories, but we would like to find and fix any remaining problems importing valid hands.

Do you actually mean EV, or do you mean the payout structure? Please create a separate ticket about this and include an example where you won, along with the buy-in amount and prizes that were actually awarded. We try to keep the auto detection rules up to date as much as possible.

Apologies; this question is concerning tournament $EV and was intended for someone else.

I play HU and 6max. How do I get the HUD to separate the stats for villains depending on if I am playing them HU or 6max. I know HEM had an option to show stats of player depending on how many players seated.

Thanks
