I have 2 computers and want to share a postsql database but I already have them installed and cant seem to have them share with each other.

I have tried the suggestions from support, which were very confusing and had me posting config and a whole crap load of other stuff I really had a hard time doing.

I was hoping someone on here might have a shortcut to be able to do this.

I have also tried to get support on pt3 to help me with this via teamviewer but seems they won't do that and I am no good at technical stuff!

Can the PT3 HUD display stats like:

1) Fold to a 3b specifically from hero?

2) Call river bet (which is more than a pot sized bet) with less than top pair?

3) Fold to 3b if we have <x hands played by villain, else display Fold to a 3b specifically from hero?

4) Fold to a 4b which is less than a psb?

5) Fold to a 4b all in.

If not, will PT4 be able to display these in the HUD?

(2) Yes, though you would need to build the stat yourself, and if you had an older system, stats of these types can cause performance problems.
(3) No
(4) Yes
(5) Maybe, I'd need to think more about all of the details. You can definitely do fold to a 4-bet (or higher) that's all-in. I think we might have trouble with some very rare multi-way spots though - if we 3-bet and one opponent 4-bets and another 5-bets all-in before it gets back to us, we might not be able to distinguish that.

In PT4, (5) will be doable. See the PT4 discussion thread for more on (1) and (3) and the problems with displaying stats like those.

I play on RPM. I have version 3.11.2 Beta.

My PT3 HUD works great for ring games but when I play an MTT, once the HUD comes up, all of the HUDS are on the wrong players for all 9 seats.

So, I play musical chairs with the HUD and get them in their correct position only to see myself switched to another table and then I have to go through the entire process again, what a PITA.

Am I missing something, doing something wrong with my set-up?

I am having a problem with PT3 and told your the man to see. My HUD is not displaying. Poker tracker says everything is working fine, no error messages, and the hands are still being collected but the HUD does not show up. I have waited 20 minutes 2 different sessions and nothing comes up.

Contacted Poker tracker support but a back and forth conversation between them takes atleast a week. Hopefully you can get back to me sooner. Thanks for any advise you can offer.

How do you find the hands that you marked for review after a session? I can't find the filter to do so.

People have been reporting some issues with preferred seating at RPM - please try disabling it temporarily and see if that works. If it does, make sure to submit a support ticket via our support system so that you can be notified automatically when a general fix is available.

Please make sure you're running both PT3 and your poker client as Administrator by right clicking the icon and clicking Run As Administrator. Also please make sure that you've got your poker client installed in English - PT3 cannot handle clients installed in other languages.

You want to add a manual filter in the blue Filters section of a custom report for flg_note. The details are in our Tutorial for Marking Hands for Review, which you can find by going to our forums and looking in the FAQ subforum.

I just deleted this post because I thought I had a solution...unfortunately I was wrong!

I'm running PT3's HUD on Merge (Lock Poker) via OS X. I play six-max and the HUD won't auto-load in the correct order. I am trying to check the "Adjust Qualifying Table Limits" box but PT3 won't let me. The area isn't greyed out or anything, I just can't check it. I have preferred seating enabled (six players, Hero @ Seat 4).

I've looked at Database -> Database Management but that doesn't seem to be what I want.

Suggestions?

Have you tried stopping auto import before attempting to check AQTL? You can't check that box with auto import running.

We've also had several reports of issues with preferred seating on the Merge network - you may want to try and see if things work properly with preferred seating disabled in the client and PT3 both.

Thanks Kraada, I will try that and update. I also have the same problem as stated in my previous post with 6max, no matter the game selection. HUD auto starts and paves HUD info on wrong players.

Problem solved. I ran Poker tracker and BODOG as administrator by right clicking and use "run as administrator" and the HUD came up and is working fine. I never had problems in the past with HUD even though I never ran as administrator before so i dont know if its a coinsidence or it actually fixed the problem but all the same i apprecaite your help.

what would be an ~ nr of HANDS in my PT3 DB?

my \PostgreSQL\ folder has 'Size on disk' = 28.7 GB (30,850,539,520 bytes) and no other DB exist there.

fwiw, my DB contain mostly cash hands (regular and rush), and i cannot remove all filters to find myself the answer of the above question, because my old computer would "die"..

is this the number of all cash holdem hands from my db?

That sounds like a reasonable number, yes. IIRC the estimate is about 100k hands per GB.

Tournament stat "fold to PF 3bet when raised". The description says "fold to preflop 3bet % when hero raised and it wasn't a steal". I'm a little confused as we normally refer to ourselves as hero, so does this stat mean hero (us) is the 3bettor or something else, thanks.

Just started playing on Bodog. My HUD is coming up, but it's not laying on the table. It's laying behind the table. If someone could help me as to why this is that'd be great. I have "enable hand grabber" checked as well as "HUD always on top". I'm always starting my auto-import before I sit at a table. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

No - in that case "hero" refers to the player you're viewing the stat for.
It means how often a player folded to a 3-bet after they made the first raise (and that wasn't a steal).

Have: Windows 7 64 bits
Use it for: Headsup Sit and Go
Problem: Doesnt show hud, but it does import.

Please read the FAQ: PT3 HUD available in the FAQs and Tutorials section of the forum on the PokerTracxker site - this has solutions to common issues and a link to how to report your problem for further investigation if it doesn't help.
In particular make sure that your poker software is installed in English.

So my Pt3 HUD works really well for the most part until I recently started playing on bwin( ongame network ).

It would work fine until I moved tables. The HUD would completely dissappear after that and then reappear when a new tourney loading . Im having this problem with moving tables on ipoker also ( titanpoker)

I emailed PT3 support but it is taking way to long and we are getting nowhere.

I updated my postgres and now I cant get stats on bwin @ all ...

need help desperately and will pay someone $100 if they can get it going properly for me.

May I ask how good PT3 works on Mac? I ordered a Mac today and I use HEM on my Windows PC but that doesn't work on Mac so I have to find another software.

It works just as well as it does on the PC - PokerTracker was designed originally to be completely cross platform.

In PT4 will there be an option that the stats of the players that are not in a hand will fade away?
