WhiteRider meant the Show Hand History option from the PT Icon - it's interesting to note that FT works for you and Stars does not though, this is the first time I've heard of someone being able to reproduce it with one pair of software but not another one. Could you restart PT3 with the Logging Enabled link and report this problem with two pairs of logs? One with Stars & OnGame, and one with FT & Ongame - that may help the developers significantly in figuring out what is going on here for you, especially since we can't reproduce this consistently ourselves.

ok i will try it a bit latter, just did't use it too much with ongame+FT only, so maybe HUD just did work well with it for a bit of time. I will do a bit more tests. But for PS+ONGAME+FTP it's not working 100% (played around 5 hours two sessions and tried to reestart PT and so on, nothing helps)

Please get us some logs of it not working for sure - we've tracked this issue to adobe versions in some cases and as a result added additional logging for that sort of thing, so we should be able to tell from the log if you're running a version known to be affected (and if not, we'll have the information we need to start acting on the issue).

How do i download a PostgreSQL

Im not good with computers...can someone send me a link to a direct download. The website http://www.postgresql.org/ might make sense but it confuses me...i just dont know what to download...it just links me to tons of options i dont understand

PT3 should install PostgreSQL for you, but if you need to do it manually we have guides in our Documentation (if you don't have it installed you can ignore the uninstall section).
If you don't yet have PostgreSQL installed you may want to install v9 as there are some improvements over previous versions (especially if you have 64-bit Windows).
I can't give you a specific link without knowing exactly what operating system you are using, but this is the download page - you can follow the appropriate links for your operating system and preferred version.

How can I see a graph of what I won compared to EV , but just for one day ?

First set a filter for that day (Filters -> Session dates -> Specific date/today) and then go to the "Graphs" tab and check the "Display all-in EV" checkbox.

I can't be sure from your screenshot, but it looks like you might have a comma at the end of postgres, in the Database User field. That should be exactly:
postgres
If that's right, try the passwords "postgrespass". If that doesn't work, you can remove the need for PostgreSQL passwords: How To: Remove PostgreSQL Password

Hey I just installed the updated version (had been running the previous version prior to that even while the newer version was available) - the one I just installed is v3.10.

Here are some screenshots of problems I was encountering:


The first two are during attempted auto-import.


The third is after stopping the auto-import. PT3 then froze.

No HUD stats were shown on any tables during this auto-import.

I didn't uninstall PT3 prior to installing the new version. I believe I ran the installer as admin the first time, and I definetly did the second time I installed it (re-installed after this problem occurred, same problem continued). I have been running as administrator when running the program also. I have Windows 7.

Any idea what this is?

edit: also is there a way to quickly revert to the previous version while this is sorted out (if it isn't a quick-fix)? I really can't play properly w/o my HUD.

In my PT3 'Processed' folder there was a folded called "Pokerstars" which contained tournament summaries (not hh's). I deleted this, and stopped pt3 from importing tournament summaries. Problems seem to have stopped for the time being.

You might want to run through the Setup Wizard. Just click next through the first step, make sure in the second step that nothing is set to use the PT3 processed folder, then click next (it should warn you if there is a problem though), next after the third step should import any hands in your hand history folders and move them to the processed folder - and then after you click Begin you should see a marked improvement in performance if you had a ton of hand history files that needed cleaning out.

I use hotkey right click in Rush to quickfold but sometimes I accidentally press the pt hud items and it just moves them instead.

is there a way to disable right click to move hud items in pt3?

How do you hotkey in rush or on FT?

Not currently, but there are plans to change the way that HUD groups are managed on the table, at which point this should be possible. I don't have a timescale for this yet, though.

Why there is no official definition of Squeeze stats (Preflop Squeeze, Preflop Squeeze Def Call, ..) in the Statistical Reference Guide ?

The description of this stat ("How often the player made a squeeze raise when they had an opportunity") is not enough, imo.

Can i get an more detailed and exact definition of when PT3 consider that the player had an squeeze opportunity?

A squeeze is a 3-bet when you are facing a raise and one or more calls.

So for example: UTG opens, HJ calls, you're on the button and all others have folded. You now have a chance to squeeze. If you raise and it folds to UTG he faces a squeeze. If UTG folds, HJ faces a squeeze. If anybody acts before UTG (e.g. the BB 4-bets) the scenario has changed and nobody faces a squeeze. If UTG faces a squeeze and calls or raises, the scenario has changed and HJ no longer faces a squeeze.

I hope that clarifies squeezes for you.

ok so i have two trials running at once...this and hold em manager

Some reason on both programs i have to manually import my hand history from full tilt. When i do it on hold em everything works out fine. But on Poker Tracker it just deletes my hand history files and the stats dont even show up on poker tracker? Is that just a random problem?

Is there a way i can tranfer my hand history from hold em to poker tracker?

Whatever happened to the PokerTracker dedicated section on 2+2 and all the threads within it?

Do you mean that the Auto Import isn't working?
Please check the Full Tilt Configuration Guide in the Documentation, and the FAQ: Importing to PT3.
PokerTracker does not delete any hand history files, and Manual Import does not even move them (Auto Import moves the files by default, so that they do not have to be re-read everytime you restart - Tutorial: Preventing Duplicates).
When you import the hands, does it say that they are imported?
Check that you don't have any filters set – click Clear.
Check that you have your own screen names selected in the Player List on the left.
