I never noticed this before because I stack and usually have a lot of tables running. Noticed it when I pulled one table to the side.

This is the image I captured... had to take a picture of my screen. There was no flop on this hand, he won the pot pre-flop and showed... the HUD replay showed the flop along with his winning hand. The flop that is showed is from a few hands ago..

This shot is from playing on RPM... but the same thing happens on Stars, I wasnt able to get a screen shot on stars...

I want to study if my 3bet game is good so i'm talking about unexploitable shoves and reshove against a wide raising range.
For that I need to filter by stack and by 3bet without showdown... So I can see what hands I'm 3betting and winning obv

(1) You can currently only change a player's icon from the main PT3 application. You can add notes to a player via the HUD by adding the Note Editor icon to your HUD and clicking on it during play - it provides a space to add a note when you do that.

(2) Those stats can be created now, and I believe RFI from the various positions are all in the repository for immediate (and free) download.

When you filter for any action in PT3 it only filters for that action and does not add extra actions as well. So filtering for a preflop 3-bet just filters for situations where you made a preflop 3-bet - whether or not the hand went to showdown is immaterial. For more on the PT3 filters system please see the Tutorial: Filters. I'm sure you'll be able to do what you want with PT3.

SuitedJunk: What you experienced is a a side effect of the MERGE network's rabbit hunting feature. When the player rabbit hunts the board is shown, which PokerTracker shows to you as part of the mucked cards display. I just talked with our developers about your observation, we are thinking about removing the tracking of rabbit hunted cards based on your input. Thanks for the heads up!

I get that there are inherent problems with calculating multi-way AIEV, but my AIEV line should not mirror my cash line (down) for this hand, IMO.

I've heard that HEM calculates it differently. Can you give me a quick overview of how both PT3 and HEM treat multi-way AIEV?

I suspect it is because there are players who fold later after calling the first all-in, so we don't know all of the cards involved at the time of the all-in.

I don't know exactly how HEM calculate EV, but PT3's method is explained here.

Coming to the end of the trial period with pokertracker 3.Thanks very much have enjoyed using it, however naturally I want to evaluate hem also, and have a query regarding exporting my hand history from pokertracker.

Will the 'processed' folder (shown below) still be available on my computer once the demo runs out, or do I need to get my hand history before it does?

I am having trouble getting my HUD stats to pop up next to the correct player on RPM Poker (Merge). Every time I open a new table I have to move them around, and it's inconsistent where they pop up. Sometimes they are 1 position to the left/right while other times switched across the table. Saving the layout does nothing.

I am using preferred seating and sit in the bottom right position (6max). I believe that is seat 4, but it doesn't matter because I've tried them all and nothing changes. What am I doing wrong?

The issue exists with versions 3.09.4 and 3.09.5

When the trial runs out nothing will be automatically deleted or removed. If you later decide to register you will be able to run PT3 again and enter your code and your existing database will still be there (as long as you haven't removed the database yourself).
The contents of the Processed folder are not actually used by PT3 (everything is stored in a PostgreSQL database), but those files won't be deleted either, and you should keep them safe somewhere in case you ever need to recreate your database.


Please check the Tutorial: Preferred Seating - the Troubleshooting section should get you sorted out, but if not please report your problem so that we can investigate further.

What method does PT3 use for calculating rake at Absolute? Do you have a separate column showing BBJ rake?

Basically I need to know if PT3's rake stats will line up with those of my rakeback affiliate.

I don t get the HUD at my short HU tables. is this normal or is something wrong with my HUD?

PT3's Rake statistic does not change by site. Rake is the amount of money that you personally paid in rake from hands that you won. If you tell me know your site calculates for rakeback, I can tell you what's the best way to see your rakeback in PT3 - but we do not have any stats by default that vary their definition site-by-site.

If you upgrade to our most recent beta (3.09.5, available here), the HUD should work properly on those tables.

I just opened poker tracker on my the Mac. I registered over a year ago and have had no issues, however it is now telling me that my registration key is invalid and it cannot import any hands as I am using an unregistered version.

Any suggestions?

I am having the same problem. My PT3 was working fine not 10 hours ago, and now I'm told that I have an unregistered version.

Pokertracker.com seems to be down as well, so I cannot access my registration code. This computer was the 2nd on on which I registered the software, so I don't know if it'll try to say I've used my 2 registrations already.
