If not then you should be able to transfer your databases across (see the Database / PostgreSQL FAQ for links about moving databases between locations), but if you have the original hand history files (in thePokerTracker 3\Processed folder by default) then you will probably find it easier to re-import those.
You can copy your settings files across from the old install - see PT3 backup files]this post[/url].
I am not able to run the old operating system (Vista) on the old hard drive which is where the old version of PT3 and all of my DBs are located.
However, the hard drive is connected and accessible on my computer.
What I want to do is transfer all of my DBs from this drive (I cannot open PT3 on this drive to make backups and restore etc) to my new hard drive that has Windows 7.
I have already installed PT3 on the new hard drive. I want my DBs on this hard drive and linked to this version of PT3.
I will then reformat the old hard drive and wipe it clean.
Please point me to a process that can transfer my DBs. I have read the FAQs and tutorials but none of them seems applicable to transferring a DB from a drive that cannot open PT3.
