PokerTracker 3 - Page 315 - Poker Software -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

complete PT3 newb here. Just downloaded and started it up. Finally got it running. Had a prob with configuring to ft. Got it going.

I am also running it on a new imac that i just got about a month ago. One thing i cant figure out how to do is move the hud around on the screen. Not able to right click and move hud since the imac mouse doesn't right click obv. I'm a newb so prob something simple that i am not doing. I obv need to be able to move the hud since it is currently covering up "time" button and covers up some of the stacks sizes a bit on some of the seats.

thoughts?

Get a different computer, IMO.

Frond,

Any secondary click will move the boxes. You can enable a couple of kinds of secondary click in the System Preferences for Mouse (accessible via the Apple menu at the top left of your screen). Personally, I kind of like two finger clicks, but on a regular mouse I also always enable the right mouse button as well. (New Macs all have the ability to right click, you just need to enable it . . . why they don't do it by default is really beyond me.)

i have a problem with my hud.
started regging for some tournaments and my hud is non existent since today and i really have no idea why because i changed absolutely nothing. using 3.07.6 beta

edit: restarted during break, works now

Regarding mac mouse and hud display- was able to set mouse up on system pref(thanks for the tip btw)and also you can hit the control key and mouse at same time to move huds. (Just in case any newbs like me were wondering)

^Reg getting new computer........if I do it will be another mac for sure

Alright i downloaded version 3.07.7 today ( had 3.07.6 before ) hoping to solve the freezing problem with Ongame clients. It solved it, but now I have a problem with the HUD. I'm 6-tabling and the HUD is like ''always on top'' at all of the tables, even if I minimize the client or PT3 or whatever, i still see the HUD always and it's super tilting. Didn't have this problem before, just today with the latest version. Any suggestions?

I found this, sorry.... BTW, did the hand amount color change in the HUD?

This has prob been asked and answered but I can't find it anywhere..
I've also tried to do this in PT3 with no success.

I'm looking to change the color of the stats on my HUD.
I've gone to the configure HUD section and click on VPIP, edited where is says 'Min' put 40 in there, thing chose the color I wanted. This however makes no difference.

Then went in there after the upgrade and I don't even know what mu HUD options are...

Can anybody tell me how to do this?

Sorry if this is the wrong section, please move if so.

If you want it a static color, you go to the stat you want to adjust (stats configuration box?) and adjust the formatting of it. You can make it bold, underline, etc. as well as changing the color. Iirc, it's the first or second line in that box.

If you want to have variable color changes based on Villain's actual stat, you need to define the ranges for each and assign colors to each range. It's not actually in the stat configuration box. Iirc, there's a tab right next to it where you can define that.

Thanks, I did it in the stats section because for some reason I cannot see any of that in in the configure HUD section anymore. Sorry, actually I can see this, you need to select player and then I can see the vpip.

Because having to stop importing until i change tables is less tilting than the HUD being all over the place

The "previous errors" have been fixed, that's why you get less errors. In the test hands we have there have been quite a few genuine errors, but please send us the files so that we can check them out (or have a look yourself - you may see missing information, or disconnections).

Due to the problem that was fixed to get the correct results you'll need to purge and re-import the Merge hands (or if all your hands are for Merge then you'll probably find it faster to create a new database and reimport to that).

I want to delete all of my hand histories saved on PT3 and 'start over.'

this is in order to see results like, biggest winners/biggest losers starting hand wise, as well as have a fresh starting point for ptbb's/100.

I've already deleted all the files in the logs and processed folders (didn't delete the folders themselves though,) don't know if that's fine, good, or not such a good idea.

The hands are still all there in the PT3 database though, what do i need to do in order to delete my hand histories and see a big fat 0 as my result for hands played so far in my PT3 database?

Please see the Tutorial: Selective Purge which will explain how to remove data from your PT3 database.

Another option is just to create a new database, though, via Database --> Database Management --> New. A new database will necessarily have no data in it.

is anyone else have problems with importing merge, specifically carbon, hands? some are getting imported but i feel like either a lot are being missed or something else is up, as the results it's showing are far from reality
