If I have the same hand in different databases (i.e. I have an observed database and a played hand database and I import a hand into the observed database that I previously played) and have my HUD use hands from both databases, does PT3 recognize the duplication and count it as one hand? Or will it count both hands on my HUD?

In that situation the hand will count twice -it would slow things down far too much to check for duplicates across databases like that.

Just upgraded and reimported my Merge Omaha hands.

177 errors in 10,208 hands.

I sent HH's and logs in. Please to be fixing this.

We only got the Merge Omaha hands just before the release of the beta – I thought the fix should be included but it may not have.
I will make sure that the development team are aware of this.
Thanks

Do you guys also have problem with breaking software ( HUD is probably a reason)
10-22-2010 , 09:58 AM
makan,

I'm not sure what you mean - are you referring to the new OnGame update? If so, yes that is affecting us as well and we are investigating ways to fix it.

Yes sir

whats the difference between raise total and raise %? also is check raise included in either of these stats? is that the difference?
10-23-2010 , 05:04 PM
They are the same (the total number of raises divided by the total number of opportunities to raise) except that "Raise Total" doesn't include preflop actions.
All raises are included - check/raises are not differentiated in either stat, they're still raises regardless of previous action.

Is it possible to remove the labels of the stats on the HUD? It seems this would conserve space when the tables are rather small...

Thanks Zach

Thanks Zach
Configure -> Configure HUD -> Select each stat and in the bottom right there's a box with the properties. Delete the prefix.

Iirc.

How do I view my rush poker session stats using pt3? Is there any way to view my session stats in real time (I know my opponents will be seeing different stats than I see for myself...)?

Thanks in advance
10-24-2010 , 06:00 AM
You can't currently see your own stats in the HUD for Rush due to the way that Rush "sessions" work - we do hope to be able to add this, but I'm not sure when that will be done.
In the main tracker you can double click the session on the Sessions tab to filter to that session only and then see your filtered stats in the other reports, or you could use my "Session Stats" custom report which is available from the "Get More" section - either way you'll need to refresh the reports to see up to date information.

Is there any way using PT3 that I can find what my opponents see as my stats individually? I'm much more active vs certain regs and curious of my image/stats that they have on me vs my overall averages.

I'm still pretty ignorant when it comes to pt3. I'm still having trouble looking at my own session stats. I'm interested in looking at my vpip, 3 bet%, pfr, etc. - all the things that I'm tracking in my HUD for my opponents. I looked up session stats, but based off their descriptions they didn't seem to be what I was looking for - any further suggestions?

Thanks

You can't do that in the HUD, but see this thread for how you can do it in a custom report.

You can't see the kind of statistic in the Sessions tab itself, but if you double click to select a specific session then you can see your stats from a session in the other reports.
Alternatively, my "HCPS Session Statistics" custom report (available from the#"Get More" section) allows you to view 'normal' stats for each session.

This may have been covered but I cant find my exact problem and PT3 support has not gotten back to me. I download and install trial. I click continue trial. It gives me the screen to connect to postgresql, and when I click connect, it says unable to connect check configuration. Where do I go? I am computer illiterate if it doesnt do it for me when I click a button lol. Help please. Thanks.
10-25-2010 , 09:53 AM
Try using the password 'postgrespass' (without the quotes) and see if it connects then.
10-25-2010 , 05:20 PM
No dice. Any other suggestions? Thanks. BTW still waiting on PT3 support to get back to my email. It's been around 24 hours.

PM me your ticket number and I'll look into it for you.
10-25-2010 , 08:04 PM
Fixed. Support responded. Norton was blocking PTHUD access. As soon as I allowed it was fine. Had to use postgrespass instead of dbpass still though. Thanks for the help.

Hate to sound like a cheap bastard, but is there ever a time when PT3 goes on sale or when they are known to have special offers? I want to buy their software but $90 seems ridiculous. Especially since I really only want the database (I hate HUDs - all HUDs, not just PT). Plus, at my limits I don't qualify for the micro version but the EV on my play would take me a ton of time to cover the cost.
