Cheers, can't wait for the release date!
This is a high priority. The replayer will be awesome once it's finished.

Yes, but that's where the error is occurring? Does it happen if you don't have that window open?

If add rebuys for tournaments using "Enter result window" it doesn't reflect amount won even after I hit refresh

Thanks for the answering, and im sorry 'bout that i havent searched entire thread.. The problem was UAC. Thanks for the help anyway.

I think a option to specify cash games only would be good.

There are alot of cash game players that only play tournaments like the stars VIP freeroll and those hands do not need to be clogging up PT's database.

Which leads me to another question.

*How many total hands can PT3 hold? 3 Million? 10 million?
02-08-2008 , 06:36 AM
I doubt there is a limit on amount of hands like that, probably depends on your HDD space. I'm fairly sure I have near 10m hands in my PostgreSQL PT2 database.

No, unfortunately these random crashes are caused by problems that can't be logged for. I have too search through the code, or hope that I'm lucky enough to get one in the debugger in order to fix it. I fixed a lot of them, so the crashes should be few and far between.

I will take a look at this when I go to improve the tournament support.

Does the Refresh button not work for you?

I know we have users with excess of 3 million hands with no problems at all. We've never tested much more than that, but it shouldn't have a problem with 10 million. The database is designed to handle many millions of hands.

Hi can someone please explain exactly what the blue and red line are showing in the Money Won (showdown & non-showdown) graph.

Is it money won WHEN I show down, or money won IF I had shown down all hands I played??
02-08-2008 , 09:56 AM
I just replied to your other thread. It's money won WHEN you went to showdown.

OK thanks mate.
So does my graph mean I am losing tons of money by calling/betting when I end up folding in the hand??

02-08-2008 , 10:44 AM
Yes, that's exactly what it means.
02-08-2008 , 12:06 PM
is the summary page completely gone from PT3? (the 1 where it shows all the players W/L)..
02-08-2008 , 12:44 PM
Haven't used the recent PT3 betas but I know that this tab will be in the final version.
02-08-2008 , 01:31 PM
Yes, we had the summary reports in there, but they were incomplete so we removed them for the beta. They will be added back in before the commercial release.

Is it just me or does the hand replayer not account for the rake? Are there still rake issues with the graphs/tables/etc?
02-08-2008 , 08:31 PM
Looks awesome, but I can't seem to install PT3.

Here is the error I receive when installing:

"failed to create process from initdb. the specified service does not exist as an isntalled service."

Then I try to run it and get this:

Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3 Beta DB1
Reason: Unable to login to database (template1). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "localhost" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?

Thanks in advance

Looks like you had PostgreSQL installed on your computer before. Try deleting the C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL directory and then, from a command prompt, type "net user postgres /delete". Let PT3 install PostgreSQL and you should be good to go.

The replayer should be 100% accurate. There are some bugs that have been fixed in the private alphas that will be available in the soon-to-come public beta, so these issues should go away once it's released.

Hmmm, still not working. When I run that in the command prompt I get: "The user name could not be found."
02-08-2008 , 09:16 PM
Did the directory exist?

Yes. That I was able to delete, but I still got the same problem when installing PT3.

Will the historical (and nonsensical) issue with party NL games getting their own limits separate from the normal "NL ($x)" limits on account of them being absolutely identical in structure be fixed in PT3?
