PokerTracker 3 - Page 293 - Poker Software -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

Hi, was hoping to get help with a problem I am having with PT.

I am new to much of this online poker software. I am trying out the free trial of PT3 for the Mac. Don't know if it's frowned upon, but I purchased a database of hand histories to upload. Problem is, the uploading of the hands to PT3 freezes or crashes. When I try to upload smaller samples at a time, they come up as invalid hand IDs. Help. Thanks a lot.

Are you using Manual Import or Auto Import?
Auto Import is not designed for large scale imports - Manual Import should cope fine, though.

Are you using Auto Center at Full Tilt? If so you need the Auto Center checkbox checked on the Full Tilt Configuration tab (see the Tutorial: Preferred Seating).

Yo, I was playing a player tonight on a few tables and the HUD didn't appear to be giving any stats for them. I shrugged it off during the session and had a search for the player in PT3 after my session had ended and it appeared that no stats were taken for this one individual. Every other player on the table had stats displaying. Any obvious reasons and solutions?

V 3.06.3, the site was FTP

Oh, and the software experienced a fatal error earlier as I tried to search through the DB. My system is a Dell Inspiron Laptop with ****ty Windows Vista.

Hi. My secuniaPSI write that my version postgresql8.3.9 is not secure and I need update to 8.3.11. But as I understand its not really easy

. Maby you got FAQ about that or something like that?

At one point, PT3 would auto-import one FT hand/table in order to get stats to show up prior to being dealt in (so as to help with table selection).

I think that stopped at some point and wanted to confirm (or am I doing something wrong?)

There isn't a 3.06.3 - I guess you mean 3.06.2? Send us the hand history first and we'll see if there is a problem with them - I don't see anything that should help this in the 3.07.1 beta version.

My auto-import doesnt work anymore and it gives me this error message: Fatal Exception during Auto-Import process: Access violation (0) (Flags: 0; Address: 0x00427b3a; EIP: 0x00427B3A)

How can i fix this problem? Someone please help asap.

If I use multiple databases and have notes for a player on more than one database, will the notes show up in my hud that are on every database?

Yes, so long as you have all databases set to display in the HUD on your Hud Options tab.

So I use pokertracker for hold'em and it works great.

When I use my Omaha trial version, it only shows about two hands from other players in the HUD before it stops updating them. (Hero's are always updated though.)

When I stop the auto import and start it up again, all the hands recorded are updated in the HUD, but then it stops updating them again. (So I have to stop auto import and start it again to update them again.)

We are ironing out some issues with our latest tournament changes (they are pretty massive). We hope to have a new beta out this week, though that depends on how quickly we can get the issues sorted and tested.

Can you confirm to me whether or not you support Merge network currently? I am using PT 3.06.2 and can't find merge in the database nor on the import screen. When I try to manually import a file from there, it says unrecognized file format

hello guys and girls,

i am currently a HEM user but i wanted to give PT3 a try cause i just heard good things about it.

so my question...i still have HEM with postgres installed and i downloaded the PT3 trial wanted to configure postgressql server but get this error-message: unable to connect to this database. please check the configuration

so what is wrong here?

You will need to use the password that your postgres user is configured for, which would probably have been set up by HEM.
If you don't know what that is you can remove the need for PostgreSQL passwords: How To: Remove PostgreSQL Password.
