Hey guys, quick question: PT3 is mashing my playtime into one session. For example: If I play for an hour then stop for an hour, come back and play more, then PT3 counts these sessions as one which should actually be two.

It's making it difficult for me to analyze my playing the way that I want to. I could find anything on google or PT3's Website. It's hard to search for an answer on this because of so much discussion of PT3 and lack of appropriate keywords to group.

Thank you for any advice.

How do you filter for pots all in pre flop?

Has anyone used PT3 and Poker CoPilot together successfully? And if so, is there any point to it? I play on Mac so I can only use those two programs. The only reason I ask is because PT3 doesn't track "all-in equity" and I see that CoPilot does...would be a burden off my mind to confirm that I am in fact running terribly lately and not just playing terribly. Also if PT3 has a related feature that I am missing, I'd love to know as well.
We've started adding this information - what sort of game do you play?

Sessions should be considered to end if there's a 15 minute gap in play. If you have hand histories that import as the same session but have a gap of more than 15 minutes, please attach them to a support ticket and we'll make sure this gets investigated and fixed for you.

Combine the following two filters with 'OR selected'
Actions -> Preflop -> Raise -> Raise All-in
Facing -> Preflop -> Raise -> Raise All-in

For more details on our filter system please see the Tutorial: Filters.

The "SNG" filters don't seem to work for iPoker. Is this a known issue?

I want to filter out only HUsng but when I select SNG (2max) I get no tournament results for iPoker. For FTP it works.

I have the same problem when using any of the Tournament "Table Types" filters, not just 2 Max.

For HUSngs A workaround would be if we could enter an exact buy-in amount including rake ($1.05) but that isn't possible.

Are your iPoker tournaments configured as type SNG (2 max)? (e.g. if you look at one of them in Tournaments > Enter Results.)

Thanks that seems to be the problem - I've been able to manually update them from there and now filtering works. How do I fix it so that future tournaments are recognized correctly?

No - Mac OS security prevents PT3 doing what it needs to do to access the required information in realtime.

It depends whether the required information is available in the hand history files - this is something that our development team are working on now so please attach an example hand history file to a Support ticket and I'll pass it on to be checked out and see if we can get it working for the next release.

Not as such, but you can get close with a custom report - see this post.

9 handed PS tables, is it possible to show VIP/PFR in every position in HUD? If so, how?
05-26-2010 , 05:25 AM
Posted this in PT3 forums as well.

I've tried to auto-import both FTP/PS and they are both giving me the same problem. I recently purchased PT3 Mac for Omaha/Holdem full versions. I imported probably around 100K hands and they all seemed to import properly but I'm unsure. Everytime I try to auto-import now, it freezes and sometimes crashes. I also get this error: Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: Unsupported database type. Database ()

All of the folders are configured correctly and I'm genuinely unsure of what the problem is. I've tried to Reindex, Rebuild Cache, and every other housekeeping option to no avail. Help!

I've been looking through some posts and it seems as though I need to re-install PostgreSQL. I haven't found directions on how to do so on Mac yet though...

The default profile shows stats by position in the popup, for EP, MP, LP and blinds.
If you want to see stats for each individual seat you will need to use Custom Stats - there are positional VP$IP and PFR stats available for download from the "Get More" section of the PT3 website.

Hey guys!

I have a question.

Currently, my HUD in PT3 displays Aggression factor. I've heard that Aggression frequency is a better number to have on the HUD as it converges faster. How do I switch the two?

Thanks so much!

Configure --> Configure HUD, choose your on table group from the Groups tab, and go to the Stats tab. Double click the stat you want to remove at the top right. Locate the stat you want to add on the left and double click it to add it in. You can move stats up and down with the little up and down arrows as you desire.

For reference: HUD FAQ.

Thanks so much! Wow, that was much easier than I thought it would be. I'll save that link for the future.

Hi - this might be an easy question. I play on Full tilt and pokerstars - and I would like to keep the 2 separate on my PT3. How do i create a separate database for each so that my full tilt players and PS players are not all jumbled up together?
05-28-2010 , 11:12 AM
Database Management -> Create new DB

Title one Full Tilt and one PS.

FWIW, it's going to make your own true stats less clear/harder to get at, IMO. I'd suggest having one DB with them both combined and then filtering for one site or the other if you want to run site specific reports, look at your site specific stats, etc.

I agree with Leroy for what it's worth. If you want to learn more about filters, see the Tutorial: Filters.

PT should be using your own time zone, what sort of discrepancies are you seeing?
Well, when I'm playing after midnight, say until 02:00 A.M., the winnings are still listed under the previous day. It's around 2 or 3 A.M. that starts a new day..

How can I solve this?
05-29-2010 , 09:02 AM
If a session starts before midnight it is attributed to the day prior - all sessions are attributed to the time the session starts.

If you wish to change the time your day starts at, use the "My Day Starts At" setting in the Settings area.

Ok thanks!

Another problem I've encountered: I have played some rush poker sessions a while ago..
My graph of those sessions is bugged.. it's going straight downward (no swings) -$1500.. I don't even have that much money on my account
Has this been reported before?
05-29-2010 , 07:33 PM
Also:

How do you merge two or more graphs in to one graph?
For example, if you'd like to see your all-time winnings on all sites/accounts combined?

No it hasn't, please report it so that we can investigate for you.

Please see the Tutorial: Aliases for an explanation on how to set this sort of thing up.
