I'm starting a prop bet with a buddy over who will have the largest profit over exactly 20K hands of 50NL. Results will be determined by PT3 stats.
My problem is that i can't find any way of filtering out the exact hands that should count towards the bet. Ideally there would be a way of showing the stats for hand nr x, x+1, x+2,.....x+19999. Is this possible?
As far as I know you can only filter between dates. This is not optimal as hands played before the starting time on the starting day will be included, as well as hands played after hand nr 20k on the finishing date.
I know that it's possible not to play before the bet start on the starting date, and to stop when i reach approx 20k hand and not play more on the finishing day. But I want a smarter answer on how to get these stats
Any good solutions on how to overcome this problem?
You could do this in a custom report if you make a note of your first and last hand numbers (and assuming the hand numbers are in numeric order, you could do it by date and time otherwise so keep a note of that too).
In the Holdem Cash Hands section create a custom report and add stats Hand # and Amount Won (at least).
Click the report Filters link and add a filter like this:
#Hand ## >= 20391420000 AND #Hand ## <= 20391500000
(obviously replace the numbers with your first and last hand numbers.)
All right sorry if this is a repeat:
Can I get HE micro for $45 and then upgrade to Full HE and Omaha $145 package in the one go or do I need to do a few things?
Do you already have the HE micro version?
In that case you can add the 'HE upgrade to full version' and the 'omaha full add-on version' to the cart at the same time.
If you don't own anything yet the cheapest way to buy both full versions is by choosing "Holdem & Omaha: Full Version" for $144.98.

Sorry so where is the upgrade from Micro HE and Omaha to Full for both ie full package?
Firstly, in the amount won box, if someone has lost do you have to put a minus figure in or do you just leave it at zero?
Also, this ones a bit more complicated. Is there anything other than sharkscope where I can put in the tournament key in and find the results. I've got a huge number to imput as I have just imported a load of files. And lastly, when a big MTT has been found is it possible to put the names into alphabetical order!?
Cheers in advance and any help, or even advice on what input is actually necessary, is much appreciated.

I play on FTP and Stars, but almost every one of my tournaments is from stars. There's about 200 to fill in.
Also, say I'm on the internet and I find a results list then that's when I'd need the facility to alphebetise.(word?) If It's a 2k field and I need to locate finishing positions of 80 or so people then it's not even worth scanning up and down the list to find their names.
PT3 is great software but this is the only drawback. I'm currently trialling tournament updater and I will be purchasing in a few days. For now though I just need a way of imputting this missing data and then I'm up and running!

Please note that this version will need to update your database. It may take a long time depending on the size of your databases and the speed of your computer. Plan your update accordingly.
New versioning method. From now on, betas will be odd minor numbers (3.07), whereas stables will be even minor numbers (3.06).
We're introducing a few big and highly requested changes with this release. We've added support for the Merge Network of sites. We've added what is the beginning of our multi-currency support. We've also added a hand history viewer.
To use the new Multi-Currency feature, first go to the Configure menu and choose Configure Currency. This is where you will set your global currency. This is the currency that PT3 will convert all other currencies to. In order to see the conversions, you will need to add the new stats to your reports. The new stats are: 'Amount Won (Global)' and 'Amount Won (Native)'. A picture is worth a thousand words, so take a look at this screenshot:
The existing 'Amount Won' stat hasn't changed. It will behave as it always has, so if you only play in dollars, you can safely ignore this new feature. The 'Amount Won (Global)' stat shows the amounts all converted to the global currency. The 'Amount Won (Native)' stat shows the amount won in the native currency, but the summary is converted to the global currency.
Currently, the conversion rate used is the previous day's rate (this is automatically downloaded for you by PT3). We plan on offering you different methods of applying conversion rates in the near future. We currently support almost 30 currencies, so odds are good your local currency is supported.
The other highly requested feature is the hand history viewer. Take a look:
To access this window, click on the PT icon -> Show Last Hand. There are a variety of configuration options available so you can customize this window to your liking. There are buttons that will let you easily copy the hand to your clipboard, formatted in whichever way you prefer. If you play an interesting hand and want to post it on a forum, simply click on the forum button and paste it into your post. The functionality of this window is also available in the hand information window that appears when you double-click a hand in PT3.
I have a problem getting PT3 to work. I bought it yesterday and I followed the steps advised in the guide. Now I finally managed to import some hands on the software, theres roughtly 25,000 hands and info about 2,000 players, but the problem is I cant get to see any of the stats. It says: 'invalid PostgreSQL connection object' in the player statistics, player notes and player details boxes. can someone help me out?
I had already used the 60 day trial version and it seemed to work out fine but now that I purchased the real version it doesnt work. Help would be much appreciated, thanks!
Please try restarting PT3 to see if that helps as that can often fix errors of this variety. If it does not, please report this problem and we'll investigate further for you.
I bought PT3-NLHE in early April. Ironically, I lost interest in NLHE shortly thereafter, and, since then, have played mostly Rush Omaha. Today, I realized I could take advantage of the Omaha free trial and signed up for it. However, PT3 seems to have no memory of Omaha hands played between my signing up for the software and all hands before the trial, even though they have all been imported. Help would be much appreciated.
