Since one of our top features is improved performance, it's doubtful we'll add anything that significantly affects performance.

I can't figure out where to update this beta version.

PA Hud will not work properly with PT3. There is a temporary AHK HUD available on our forums that will work until the native HUD is released.

Also, is there a way in PT3 to sync the data files on two computers running the software. As it is now, you just have to export all the hands back and forth, as I understand it.
You can have PostgreSQL running on one computer and point the other computer to it.

What is the difference between the version with PostgreSQL and without it?

The one *with* postgresql contains the postgresql installer too, and will install it for you.

The one *without* assumes you already have a working postgresql installation / server.

Did I read this correctly, that after we download each beta we have to re-import all of our hands?

You don't have to, no. However, if you've had problems with stats not matching up and so on, it's recommended that you reimport them to hopefully solve the issue. When there's been bigger database changes it can also be necessary sometimes for some functions to work.

Will the HUD be releasd at the same time as the public version of PT3? Or is the HUD going to come much later?

Yes.

Will pahud be made compatible with pt3 beta and/or the finished pt3 ?
02-06-2008 , 05:58 PM
As requested in the other thread about getting observed hand history from Stars. If that becomes something that gets added, I would be happy to test it. Do we know if that is even possible yet?
02-06-2008 , 06:10 PM
PT3 will have a built in HUD. The PokerStars observed hands feature is still up in the air right now.
02-06-2008 , 06:44 PM
will the built in hud use fewer resources than pahud?
02-06-2008 , 06:47 PM
So glad I am not PokerAce - I would snap and strangle me some people.

Im sure this has been mentioned somewhere but it would be nice to add somep lace to add your rakeback for the month you made. So when I filter thru Jan/1/08-Jan31/08 I can see whatever I won PLUS my manually submitted rakeback. Thanks

I appreciate the exceptional support from the PokerTracker and PAHud team. Will PokerTracker3 and the new PAHud be more tournament friendly?

I am sure he means the built in HUD will be fully operational by commercial release.

It should use fewer resources. That's what we're aiming for.

Yes, you will be able to enter your rakeback information.

We're hoping to make a lot of improvements for tournament players, but we need input from you guys.

_dave_ was right, the HUD will be available on commercial launch of PT3.

Has anyone in a domain setting (I'm using XP, but I guess any OS) gotten PT3 to work? If you install on a corporate PC, you might be in a domain setting, and you would know because you're prompted for a domain when you log in.

I know Josh is aware of the problem (there's a thread on the PT3 forums), but I imagine it might not be high up in priority. If someone else is installing without issue in a domain setting, then maybe it's not a general issue, but one more specific to me, so I thought I would ask a different audience in this thread.

Just a quick question. When will the complete/final version of PT3 be released. I have my credit card right here ready to buy it, thanks guys.

I'm going to try to get this fixed in the next beta release. PostgreSQL install problems are a top priority for us, seeing as every single one of our users will have to do it.

Right now, we're hoping for a mid-March release.
