Please reboot your computer then re-run the Beta 30.7 installer.

PT3 doesn't change your hand history files - the "move processed files to" option just moves the files when they have been read; it has nothing to do with the HUD.
What exactly is wrong?

Thanks for responding so fast rider. I have worked through most of my problems. But if I want to start using my old HUD program what do I need to do? So PT3 just moved my HH? Or have all my HH been moved to your server? When PT3 processes my HH does it change them in any way? Thanx.

Not to step on WhiteRider's toes but your processed Hand Histories have probably been moved to "C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\Processed" unless you've changed the default settings in the program. And, no, PT3 does not alter the HHs in any way.

The hand history files are not moved until you stop the Auto Import so that shouldn't affect any other live HUD applications. What are you using?

Re: PokerTracker 3 - Build 5.2 (60 day trial) - 22-Aug-2009

I have been using Poker Co Pilot.(yes I am a Mac-tard. And will never go back) It has made a new folder. So when it says processed hands that just means PT3 has read them? And not really changed anything? I get the feeling that my HHs are still saved to the same folder. But after PT3 reads the hand it moves it to it's own folder. So if I ran my old software it would only read the new hands. But if I have it read the old hands it won't see the new ones as PT3 has not moved them yet.

Footnote* As if you guys can't tell yet, I am a Blue Collar guy who owns a construction company. So my computer skills are the only thing worse than my people skills

What is "it"?

Exactly. (Well, as long as you are playing at a site which writes plain text hand history files.

Correct. PT3 doesn't affect where your poker software writes the hand histories; it just reads them from there, and when you stop auto import it moves the HH files to the 'processed' folder so that it doesn't have to re-read them again next time.

That depends where you configure the other software to read from, and when it reads the files.
If it is reading them "live" as you are playing then PT3 won't affect it at all - you should still import from the original HH folder.
If you run it after you finish playing then you will need to have it import from PT3's 'processed' folder.

PT3 made a new folder. May be I can have the old program read both folders? But for now I have PT3 running good I want to just use it for the trial, then decide. But needed to understand what had happened, so if I want to go back I can. Thanks for the help. How is this thread not 5 stars?

Hey...just some infos. ive been using PT3 for some time and I really enjoy. but I think theres also some things that could been improved:

-support for DONs.. we cant really filter it as SNG and sometimes its really usefull to filter it .
-import the results. I dont really get why its not automatic the update of the winnings since the final position is posted at the HH.

Tournament results entry will be getting an overhaul with the ability to configure new tournament types, and DoNs will definitely be supported more neatly than they are now.

What site do you play at?
If there is any information available in the hand history files which isn't being read then we'll want to get that fixed.
Please attach an example HH file to a Support ticket

If you could create that support ticket, we can let you know automatically when DoN support is improved.

Re: PokerTracker 3 - Build 5.2 (60 day trial) - 22-Aug-2009

I am obviously on the trial program here. I want to try the table tracker but cannot due to the fact that I must register PT3 first. Could I pay for a month of table tracker? Or get a 1 day trial or something like that? Sorry if that seems ridiculous but it looks like a very valuable tool. Does Stars and/or Tilt prohibit using that?

Open a support ticket on our site. We'll see what we can do. TableTracker is allowed on all sites it supports.

This is likely not going to happen soon. There doesn't seem to be much of a demand for it. If we see enough of a demand, we will do it.

I want to integrate positional stats in my own Full ring Hud. Is there a guide how to do it?
Or exist this stats already, so I can import them into my own Hud?

+1

I looked into how to do this briefly, but couldn't make sense of how to create the new statistics.

Re: PokerTracker 3 - Build 5.2 (60 day trial) - 22-Aug-2009

To split stats up by EP/MP/LP/Blinds you do not need to create new stats, you can simply use the "Position" Statistic Property.
The default profile has this set up for quite a few stats in one of the popup groups.

Tutorial: Managing HUD Profiles
Tutorial: Managing HUD Groups

If you want stats for specific positions (e.g. cutoff, button, SB, etc) then you will need to build new stats, although there are several stats already available for download from the Repository.

That seems easy enough, I suppose. Was that a recent(ish) change/addition?

PT3 not showing any tournament cashes other than 1st place [PLEASE USE "Commercial Software"]

I'm new to PT3, so I've managed to import all of the Cash hands and Tournament summaries I had saved. Initially, I got an error message stating that the tournament finish is not included and I would need to get the tournament history from Stars. Got this in email form, couldn't import from email, so I saved to a .txt format. imported that, but it appears to have only recorded my 1st place finishes. Anybody know how to remedy this?

Thanks in advance, and I apologize if it's already been asked...

PokerTracker HUD not working..... [PLEASE USE THE "Commercial Software" SUB-FORUM IN FUTURE]

Has anyone else encountered this, I looked on their site for support but to no avail. I am on PS if it makes a difference. Also, PT recognizes that Stars is installed but never that it is running. I can import hands however just fine however.

Make sure you are running Beta 30.7 and not Build 5.2. The version is in the window title bar.

(Sorry mods, I know this question goes in the sub forum.)
