PT3 does not yet calculate EV accurately in all cases.
The current EV graph is just an introduction to the full functionality to come. When it is updated so that calculations are done at import time and stored in the database everything will be made as accurate as possible.

Hi,

Recently DL'd Poker tracker for use with Bodog. It's version 3.29.1 Bodog Compatible. I've got it running properly on my laptop but it won't run on my desktop.
The settings are all the same, it show's that bodog is running but it won't import hands. Anyone have similar trouble or any advice?

Stars has recently introduced the ability to associate a colour with a players notes which is visible from the lobby. I have taken advantage of this manually annotating people with a blank note to reflect their playing style so I can select tables effectively.

What would be useful would be if I could couple this to the auto-rate feature in PT3. Ideally PT3 would auto rate the players after a specific number of hands and then select the colour with a blank note on stars.

Is there anyway this can be done? I know that the stars notes are saved locally in a file and so how difficult is it to get PT3 to edit that file?

I recently installed Pokertracker3, and for some reason the stats that should automatically appear on the table are not uploading. It does, for some reason, upload the table stats when I am "observing," but when I sit in for some reason it stops automatically uploading the hand histories. The folder I use for Pokerstars and Pokertracker are the same, so I am confused as to why nothing is working properly.

If anyone could help it would be amazing. I had it working for like two days, but now nothing is working.

It's not possible right now but it is something we will look into.

It sounds like you have misconfigured PT3 to not look at the correct hand history directory; see the PokerStars Configuration Guide which will walk you through the setup procedure.

1. First one, The Tracker doesn't fill SnG result automaticly. What can i do about that?
2. Should i do "housekeeping" after every "auto-import"? or is it automatic?

Hey well that was helpful, but the checkmark in Pokertracker is there under the "auto" tab. I feel like Pokerstars isn't putting the hand histories in the correct folder. So I have a question: Should there be physical hand histories in "whatever folder I chose?" When I open the folder where the theoretical hand histories should be there are none to be found.

That is one thing that confuses me. I just want Pokertracker to work properly before I purchase. I had it for a few days and now I'm spoiled with it and feel like there is no other way to play.

First, please see the Tournaments FAQ. With regards to housekeeping, run it roughly every 50,000 to 100,000 hands.

I believe this is planned eventually but I am not aware of anything imminent.

The checkmark just means that when you begin auto import, that site will begin importing as well. If you change "Begin with auto import" on the Site Configuration tab the checkmark will go away (or come back).

You can save hands wherever you would like, but you should let PT3 move the hands once they are imported; that's what the "Move Processed Files" directory is for. Please see the Tutorial: Auto Import Settings for more details.

The PokerStars config guide that Kraada linked for you explains how to configure PokerStars as well as PT3 - make sure you read the whole thing.

If you have done everything there please read the PT3 Importing FAQ too.

Apoligies in advance, (been asked a million times) but how do we delete stats on a player in our database? They've change there playing style, and it will take too long for the new stats to converge. Thnx

Did you read the post that Kraada linked you to?
Absolute does not write tournament summary information to your computer.
If you request the hand histories by email from the Absolute lobby (My Account > Hand History..) then this includes some summary information which can be imported directly from the email, as explained in that link.

Why in the world is my pokertracker3 tracking my observed hands, but not the hands i play??????????? How do i fix?? Was working properly a couple days ago..did i change something I wasn't supposed to?

There are many differences - more information is stored about each hand (3-bets to start with) and you can build custom stats to extend on what is already included too, and custom reports too.
Hands are imported in realtime and the HUD updated. The HUD is also much more configurable, and can include custom stats.
Imports are faster.
TableTracker allows you to quickly find the best tables (subscription service).

PT3 codes are non-transferable once used. Both licenses are for use by the same person only, on computers that they own.

If that and the PT3 Importing FAQ / PT3 HUD FAQ doesn't help please report your problem so that we can check your config and troubleshoot the issue.

First of all, i know this is probably a dumb noob question, but i need help.

I just downloaded Poker Tracker 3 for the first time, it told me to also download and install PostgreSQL, so i did. I put in username and password and this it where it stopped.

Beta 29.1 should import those hands properly; I am not certain when full multi-currency support will become available.

yeah... it imports the hands and HUD is working which is obv awesome but that being said he cannot read the profit u made in those games...

example: u finish ur session, and go for a little review, it will show how many hands at EURO tables u played, what style u played BUT it will not show how much u won or lost...

It should show you how much you won and lost in BB properly, just the conversion is an issue . . . are you not getting any winnings recorded properly?
