09-16-2009 , 09:43 PM
Does someone know where can I find these stats?
http://www.husng.com/node/909

I just dont have what it takes to make them on my own.

Not as built in stats but you have options..
In the HUD you can show any stat as positional, but only in groups of early, middle or late position, or in the blinds. Statistic Properties
If you want stats for each individual position then you will need to do this as a custom stat.
You can duplicate an existing stat for and add a check for each position (so that you end up with a stat for each position).
You would need to add a check for:
holdem_hand_player_statistics.position = 0
(for instance position 0 is the button, 1 is the cutoff, etc. 8 is always BB and 9 SB regardless of table size).

Please post details of the stats you want to build in the PokerTracker 3 Forum ("Structured Query Language / Custom Stats & Reports" section) or our sponsored 2+2 forum and we'll help you build them - this thread isn't the place for this sort of thing, it will get lost.

okay so I installed it on my OS partition which is like 40GB and now postgres is 11GB and growing. How do I move my PT3 db or postgres db to another partition?

so the idea is to:
1)install postgres on another partition
2) move my postgres/PT3 database there
3)uninstall postgres on my OS db and free up some space

so how do I export this?

The easiest thing to do is just to move your actual database. See this post for a walkthrough on how to create a database on a secondary drive. Then reimport your hands into that new database and delete your old one and you should be all set.

might be offtopic but what development tool was pt3 written in? I would guess Visual Studio c# right?

I see you are adding Cake and Bodog. Any plans on adding support for Carbon poker (Merge network)? They allow HUD's now too.

Thanks

I don't know the particular tools that the developers use but I do know that PT3 is written in C++.

Yes there are plans to add the Carbon network to our supported sites, but I do not know when support will become available at this point in time.

Hi I have a question. Is there no way to filter you pt3 hud to where you have it filtered by player range BUT still have the option on your popup to see stats from a player range not equal to how many players are at your table.

a example is lets say we play a 9man sng. 30 hands later its 6 hnd. all my 7-9 hnd stats are gone and I have no info on players. I know that the info wouldn't be so accurate but its still more valuable than no info for sure.

Also Im not sure if my filter is even working right. Ill give an example.

I set my player range filter to where i have it 7-9,5-6,4,3,2. I only noticed it changing sometimes, like from 4 to 3 it reset, but not from 3 to 2.

any comments or answers? thanks.

I think (but I'm not sure) PT3 is written in c++, but I don't know what specific tools are used.

Merge network support is on the list, but I don't know when it will be added. Sites are being added roughly in size order.

Hi all,

I use PokerTracker 3.00 build 5.2, I'd like to know if it's possible to change "N/A" in something else in the HUD when you don't have enough hands for the stat.

I'd like to see one simbol ("?" for example).

Thanks in advance.

Yes, if you click the Settings button on the main PT3 window, you can change the "No Opportunities Statistic Text" to whatever you would like to see. Personally I like "~".

Hello folks,

since a few days I notice a steady decline of performance on my computer when I play. The table (I twelve table) dont switch to the front instantly and sometimes it may even take seconds to close a tournament window. I think pokertracker3 simply overburdens my computer. I have Intel Celeron with 2,5GB RAM and 3,33 GHZ. I regularly housekeep my database. Can I do anything to increase the performance or do I have to buy a new computer?

There's a thread around here somewhere about optimizing PT3 (search should find it pretty easily), but I have a computer with similar specs and I can't import and run a HUD reliably at 10+ tables, even after optimizing. Defragging your hard-drive does the most, but still...

Might as well use this post to reiterate my desire to have the HUD show without an import being run as a requirement. plzkthksbai...

The next release will have some significant performance improvements, but housekeeping and defragging will continue to be useful.

If you see duplicates reported when you start auto import please read this: Tutorial - Preventing Duplicates.

Leroy - the import takes a trivial amount of processing, it is the retrieval of stats for the HUD which does all the work, so displaying the HUD without importing wouldn't have a significant effect.

Hello, after yesterday update Unibet.com doesn't recognize hands.

I got message:

"2009/09/23 13:23:54: MicroGaming: Warning: Unrecognized game type: Hold'em (hand #2849677806)"

I use version 5.2

Really? Seems weird. If the HUD was based on static numbers and not updating with a current import, it seems like once it was initially displayed it wouldn't really need to do anything... Although I suppose it has to have some way of updating when players leave the table and new ones come in. Meh... Hopefully the performance stuff you mentioned in this next update makes it better.

This is a known issue because of a MicroGaming software update. It will be fixed in the next Beta release, which we do expect to be ready within a few days.

Yeah, I thought it was strange too at first, but it's quite true. The performance fixes do help quite a bit at least for me, and I've been told the issue affects everyone to some extent, so hopefully things will be better for you in Beta 29.

Ah, yes - I see what you mean.
However, the HUD update process is triggered by the auto import process and that is how it knows which players are at the table.
You could just set your Refresh Rates really wide apart so that the HUD never updates, if you like.

Does anyone know if postgres 8.4 is uninstalled the same way as postgres 8.3. I have removed it in add/remove programs and I removed the user account in user accounts. I am wondering if i did that wrong. I went to start/run/cmd/ and net user postgres /delete and I just realized when it said user not found that this is what i just deleted.

How or what do i check to make sure the uninstallation is done properly?

Thanks.

The thing is that poker tracker shows me that I have played 11 sessions but I played 11 tables at one session can I change something that PT would take sessions based on time and not every single table as seperate session?

I believe this is sorted now in your thread in the PT3 forum.

On the sessions tab select "Sessions by Time" instead of Sessions by Table.

Ah - you're not using PT3; that is PT2:O.
I'm not sure whether you can do that in PT2, although I think so - please ask in the PTO forum.
