Thanks, I'm using XP-Pro with PT3 build 5.2. The tracker works fine, I can see the hands being imported and my session stats, it's just the HUD not showing on the table. It worked fine the night before, but last night, no HUD. I haven't changed any settings, and just to be sure, I reviewed the obvious ones that could be an issue as noted in the HUD FAQ.

I followed your link to the bug report, but to clarify, should I create a support ticket right away or post in the PT3 forum first? Also, should I enable logging and play a few orbits first?

I have 5,000,000 hand histories that I need to import into my database. Whenever I begin the import process into pokertracker it says it will take 1 day, hour. As it continues to import it gets slower and slower until it just isn’t importing nothing. A day has passed both times I tried and I have got 10% the way through.

How can I import these hand histories and how can I do so in a reasonable amount of time. There is 5,000 files in the folder I am importing and importing 1 by 1 is not really an opton.

Restart PT3 with logging enabled and play a few orbits at a single table then attach your log files to a support ticket with any other information you think might help.

Nevermind, it's working again.

When I first open PT3 I get a screen stating it couldn't get through the firewall, so I momentarily disable the firewall. I assume PT3 needs to communicate with your servers upon startup? Last night I must not have done that, but it still seems odd that hands were being imported but the HUD would not show up. Thanks anyway.

I'm looking to move my friends' PT3 Databased to my comp so that when I wanna look at it, I don't have to be keeping them away from their desks. Does anyone know the default names or maybe just the file extentions of the database files? I remember back in the day when PT2 was current I was told to just look for the 1GB+ file and that was it, but I don't see any that big in the PT3 folders. Thanks in advance.

PT3 and HM use PostgreSQL for the databases. The database is comprised of many smaller files. PokerTracker 2 used Access databases by default.

You will probably want to do a backup of his DB and then restore it to your PostgreSQL server using PGAdmin. Otherwise I believe you will have to export all of his hands to text files and then import them to your PC (you can import them to a new DB or your existing DB).

This functionality will be built into PT3 in the next Beta release.

Hi guys...

In the past few month my computer has been freezing during poker sessions, sometimes being costly if late in a stage of 8-10 table turbos...

Basically ive had PT2 and PA HUD for about a year and a half and ive never had a problem since about maybe 2 months ago...

Ive describe what happens... i may have played 2hours or sometimes even 4 hours, then all of a sudden, the comptuer starts to make a big loud sound like a spaceship and the fans starts up. Then all my games freeze for 1-5mins, then i have to shut down PA HUD for the rest of the games. This doesnt happen without PA HUD on its fine...

I have a Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo, its hardly the best laptop but ive never had trouble like this before whilst using hud and pt2.??

Is there anything I can do about this? Also when it freezes, a light comes on down the bottom maybe its the memory...

Seriously guys hope this makes sense, as this is driving me crazy and hindering my poker progress slightly...

What poker site are you playing at, and what versions of PAHUD and PTv2 are you using?

I play on pokerstars mate, im using 2.17.03b PT2 and pa hud v.1.19.10.1 beta..

Im having to play without it on at the moment it just freezes my computer... its killing me!!!

when the i turn the PT3 HUD on, my hotkeys from MiniMaxmod on Ipoker (befold) dont work. I think it HAS worked before butI didnt updte or change something in pt3tho. any ideas?

Upgrade to the latest Beta: 1.19.10.3, available on our download page and that should fix the problem for you.

The HUD shouldn't be stealing focus from hotkeys as far as I'm aware, and if it worked and you didn't update PT3 and it stopped working it's more likely that your mod or iPoker are causing the problem than PT3.

I think there may be a newer PT2 version too - check the PT2 Download Page.

If you are using Vista please make sure that all your poker software (PT3, iPoker, the script and anything else) are all set to run as Administrator.
ATTENTION: Windows VISTA users, you must read this...
Are you using the latest version of PT3 - Build 5.2?
Also check that the stat groups in the HUD aren't blocking any parts of anything important on the table like buttons or stack or bet amounts.
(Right-click drag to move them, then PT-icon > Save Layout.)

is there a default table statistic group that keeps track of plrs/flop and average pot that can be kept on the table. if not, how can we set one to keep track of the table without resorting to the poker lobby all the time? the only statistic i could find was table average of vpip, but nothing that resembles average pot. average money is negative due to rake.

You can't yet have the average pot size, or any other session-specific information in the HUD, but this will be added at some point.

Can someone please recommend a good hud profile for 6 max cash on FTP.

You could try Kraada's Advanced HUD Configuration.

is there a way to change the 30 hands observer limit? while i wait for my blind turn to come it fills up quickly when you're multitabling?

No, that isn't possible; that limit was imposed on us by PokerStars in order to not fall afoul of their rules regarding datamining.

If you wish to have that limit raised you would need to convince them to change it. (A well worded polite email to them can't hurt.)
