Help !!!

Just updated to latest PT3 Build 5 and it can't start. Stuck yesterday with FT update and now PT3. Can anyone send me a link to PT3 Beta 28.2 so I can start playing.

Beta 28.2 will only work on FTP cash games, not tournaments. Try restarting your computer - also, if you are using Norton, try disabling it, and see if either of those things helps.

Melissa:

Not many people seem to be having trouble from what I can tell. The most common issue we've seen is with people using Norton having troulbe as it's not letting PT3 start properly.

Just downloaded the new version of PT, but when I fire it up it says it doesn't recognize my registration code, and when I enter it to register it says it cannot communicate with the server, anyone else having similar problems?

You will need to update to Build 5 for full support of the new Full Tilt software.
The new software doesn't write hands for observed tables so you will need to be playing before PT3 can import anything.

Please read the release notes as there have been some significant changes in recent versions.

If you still have problems then please submit a Bug Report.

To anybody having trouble with Norton, one user has verified that uninstalling and reinstalling Norton resolved the problem for him completely, so it might be something worth trying.

If not is it possible with holdem manager?

Really I mean you could try typing IPoker datamining and you'd find it but you can use EyePoker to table select and datamine

Full Tilt made significant changes to their software and this broke TableTracker support - rest assured we're working on getting this fixed as soon as possible.

As said above - you'll need a handgrabber since iPoker does not write hand histories for observed hands. PT3 can only import if the hand histories are being written.

I installed the update today, and it looks really sweet. However, my entire buddylist (which I use a lot) got lost during the update. Is there any way I can recover it?

And where can I find good autorating rules for 6max NLHE? Because I can only find them for PT2.

Edit: I found some rules here:

But when I copy/paste them in wordpad, PT does not insert them, so it doesn't use any rules.

Do you mean your buddies in PT3?
The update should affect that unless you uninstalled first.
The buddies are stored in the following file - see if that is still there:
C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\Data\Config\Buddies.cfg

PT3 can't open PT2 rules files as the stats are different - you will need to enter the rules into PT3 yourself.

I heard from someone that you can have the HUD show up during HH reviews the way it was when it was played but i don't think that is possibe, Is it?
