Im just wondering if it is possible to access via the HUD of Pokertracker 3 to the handhistory of our opponents and how they played their hands.

I know it is possible to review the hands in the pokertracker 3 but i dont know if it is possible to do it directly from the HUD.

For example I make a filter which said:
-Position: Button
-Action: Raise
-Players on Flop: 2

and then all hands played by that player with that criteria appears on the HUD.

No, that's not yet possible - this sort of thing has been requested before and is on the list for consideration by the development team.

Is there something special i have to do to get poker tracker 3 to start reading my tourneys?
I played a few today and nothing came up on the HUD even though hands were being successfully imported.
And for your edification, i totally owned w/o it.

The HUD won't work on tournament tables at all sites. (Supported Sites)

If you're not using the latest version Beta 28.4 try updating as several issues have been fixed in recent versions.

It should work for tournaments at Stars - please make sure you are using beta 28.4, and check the HUD FAQ if you still have problems then.

whenever I play and win a Sattelite (usually 9mans that pay a seat to top 3,) PT3 has me as finishing 1st but getting $0 for my efforts. It's causing my ROI to be like -100% in the $69+6 sats I play on full tilt. To fix this I've been going to "enter tournament results" finding the tournaments, and changing my $won from 0 to $216 (or whatever the case may be) for every tournament I cashed in. I notice there is a button for sat seat, but I left it alone b/c I don't know how that would effect my ROI calculations, and I really don't care about any distinction between Tournament $ and real $.

My questions is, is there any way to make this happen automatically. It's driving me nuts! I play like, 20 Sats a day at least, I don't have time for this. If it takes me a hour to put in a weeks worth of results, then that's essentially costing me an hour's avg profit each week just to accurately track my progress. Help greatly appreciated.

Been going back and forth tonight with support to get a registration code for PT Omaha version that I added to my laptop.

Each time they send me zip files that don't show anything on one, the symbol for attachment on another that doesn't open, and a logo for Poker Tracker 3 on another.

It used to be that they just emailed the code.

What am I doing wrong?

There is still a little work to be done on satellite summary imports.
Please attach the hand history and summary files for a few of these satellites to a Support ticket.
Please add a selection where you 'win' and where you don't so that we can get this fixed.

My HUD isn't working with the new FTP update, Im using Build 3 version 3.00 (I always decline to update until I have a reason to)

are people using build 4 having success or is this a deeper problem?

Build 3 is hugely out of date regardless, and there are plenty of new features in the newest Beta line from that point in time, including HUD stats on the replayer, an EV graph and a bunch of bug fixes (literally hundreds).

On Beta 28.4 the new FTP client will work for cash games and some tournaments. We are working to fix the remaining tournaments and will release a patch that supports FTP in total hopefully later today.

Is there a way to make my personal stats on the HUD cumulative and not this session only? Looked and can't find anything about that.

Your own stats will only ever be for the current session/table - this is by design, and is intended to show your current table image. Other players' stats should be 'lifetime'.

why would you need them to be cumulative

It's what I'm used to and I have no need of them being the other way. I guess I'll get used to it this way, but I don't like it.

Just played an 8 table session and I hate not knowing how much I'm up or down overall without going into the program and looking under sessions. That's one reason I like it to be cumulative.

For those of you upgrading from build 4, your databases will need updated. Depending on the size of your databases, this process may take a while. Please upgrade when you have time to allow this update to occur uninterrupted.

There have been many exciting changes since build 4 was released. We've added support for three new sites. We've greatly expanded the functionality of the Hud to include positional stats, as well as being able to show the makeup of the percentage stats. You can also now have multiple profiles and share them with friends. There's even a brand new default Hud profile that demonstrates the new features. We've improved TableTracker functionality to include custom filtering and player scoring, making it a much more versatile and powerful table selection service. We've added what is the beginning of the EV functionality with the all-in EV graph for cash games and the win percentage in the replayer. In addition to the exciting changes, we've fixed a large number of bugs and greatly improved performance.

As we move forward, we are embarking on exciting changes. We are working on the native Mac OS X release of PokerTracker 3. We are working on the Omaha module for PT3. We are working on improving the user experience by enhancing user interfaces. Don't worry if PT3 doesn't support a site you play on. We are also expanding the site support in the very near future. How do i delete a hand from PT3? i have an error in one of my hands and its throwing all my stats out. Im sure its easy but how do i delete it from the list?

You can't delete just one hand, but if you purge that session you can reimport the session and the error should not come back (so long as you are using our most recent version: Build 5). You can get to the purge menu via Database --> Database Management --> Purge...
