PokerTracker 3 - Page 239 - Poker Software -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

Just downloaded the latest v3.00 beta28.2 and having major lag. CPU usage constantly at 100%. Running Vista 32bit, with Table Ninja.
Gonna try housekeeping now and see how it goes later.

Appreciate advises.

Please keep us posted, also do let us know if turning off Table Ninja improves things at all. Either way, please do enable logging (Configure --> Options --> Logging Enabled and restart PT3) and attempt to import while playing for one full orbit then attach the C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTracker.log and C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTrackerHud.log files to a support ticket as that will help us figure out why your CPU usage has spiked so much in the recent version.

I think I know what's causing the lag. Some log messages were accidentally left enabled. I'm rebuilding beta 28.2 with these log messages removed. It should help.

Hi, I am also having lag problems with the upgrade, I redownloaded since your last post but I am still having serious lag issues. It is impossible to play with the HUD running.

wish i could say the same . ill wait for support responce - no tourney hud so i checked forums for a quick FAQ . downloaded 28.2 and poof lost all hud . hand tracking works on cash and tourney - just no hud ? HERE'S TO BETA 28.3 CHEERS !

What version of PT3 are you using? If you haven't upgraded to Beta 28.2, please make sure that you do that, as that can fix this issue.

Also, what language are you playing in? Your client must be installed in English in order for PT3 to work properly; if you are playing in another language sometimes cash games can work but tournaments not (PT3 looks for the word "Tournament" in the table header, which wouldn't be there in another language . . .)

Don't mean to beat a dead horse here, but I've re-downloaded 28.2 and done housekeeping a few times and still the lag is ridiculous. I'd send a log file, but with others doing so already, is it absolutely necessary? If one will help, I will see about it later tonight. Hell at this point I wouldn't mind having 28.0 back. lol (i never DLed 28.1)

Is there a way for me to see how much time I've played in tournaments?

Ex. Tourney start time ... end time (my play only), or summarized as total hrs./mins.

I have v2.17

You can do this in PT3, but not in PTv2. In PT3 Beta 28.2 if you go to the Tournaments tab, the Tournaments sub-tab and choose the Tournaments - By Time report.

I added an alias to my database and now that player name is not appearing in my player list at all, let alone as an alias. Not sure what the problem is, any ideas? tyty

When you link a player to your main player as an alias that player is no longer shown separately - their stats are added to your main player.

Beta 28.3 was released to fix the new PokerStars VPP issues. It should resolve Party 9 seated tables problems as well:

How do I color code HUD stats.
Also weird enough to report, one of the five stats I have showing is the # of hands 3bet PF. I'm gonna check it right now because I have only 15 hands on this guy and PT3 says he Repopped PF 17 times. That's pretty aggressive.

That's probably 17% of the opportunities - likely to be 1/6 for that many hands.
