Ultimate Bet is now part of the Cereus network with Absolute Poker.
This is supported in PT3 but you will need to be using the latest Beta 23.
Download and install PT3.

Not sure if it's been suggested yet, but having to manually click on "remove" everytime you are in the filters-window and want to change a filter is pretty cumbersome. Add something like double-clicking to it to erase it from the selected-filters box.

As it currently is, suppose I filtered for everything from 2008+. Now, if I wanna filter for just 2009+, I either hit "clear" in the main app, then filter, then set the correct filter, then "ok", then "apply"***. That means, that while I'm setting the correct filter, PT is already filtering for EVERYTHING, and then again, once I'm done setting the correct filter, for what I'm actually looking for. That slows things down and takes up ressources.

The only current alternative would be that after having filtered for 2008+, I click on filters again, then on the set filter, then on remove, then set the correct filter, then on ok/apply. lots of clicks...

***What's the difference between OK and Apply?

Apply applies the filter and keeps the Filters window open.

OK applies the filter and closes the Filters window. I think in your example you can just click "OK" and let it close the filters window and that'll save you some clicking.

bah. What saves clicking is not haveing to click on the filter, then on remove. You select and deselect sessions with click and double-click - so do the same with filters.

I agree with Fret. It's a minor nuisance, but PT2 was better in that.

I'll definitely make the suggestion to our development team that we add double click to remove to the filters window as well. I don't know how quickly it will get implemented, but I'll definitely make the suggestion.

why doesn't the filter for number of players at table work?

im under cash games, i click filters, hands between 2 and 2 players, apply, no stats change. if i try between 5 and 10, no stats change again. i'm CERTAIN i have played hands with only 2 players at a full ring table and such.

That filter should work but it won't affect the overall reports like Player Summary - see the link at the bottom of the General tab when you have a filter enabled.

It should affect most reports though - e.g. Hands tab. Do you see your filter listed top right of the report?
01-20-2009 , 07:30 AM
my filter is listed on top right, and i do see the link and the note.

how then, do i see my total winnings for each limit with the filter, if i cant see it under Player Summary? thanks

The Player Summary report seems filtered for me in the most recent version of PT3 (Beta 23)
01-20-2009 , 01:24 PM
I've been having a problem where the PT doesnt upload the hands, even though they're imported, I mean I see them on the autoimport, but if I go to graph or general there's nothing there.......... someone knows what this might be, already restarted the computer 3 times

Try clicking "Clear" at the top right; if you have a filter enabled you might have filtered most hands out. Clicking "clear" will remove any filters.

actually it didnt, the hud didnt work either, I played about 3k today and there are no hands for today............... when I pressed clear it gave me the whole DB........ when I go just for today there's nothing, and for the last 2 days only the hands that I played yesterday........
01-20-2009 , 03:49 PM
Did you import those hands? You do need to have those hands imported. Once they've imported you should be able to click Refresh and the new data should appear.
01-20-2009 , 04:06 PM
on the import status box, they're there, but when I go to the folder where they are imported today's hands are not there..... weird
01-20-2009 , 05:59 PM
The actual hands are moved from your hand history folder to the C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\Processed directory by default once the hands are imported to keep PT3 from importing them repeatedly. Once you click the Refresh button on the Texas Holdem tab the hands should be displayed there.

i have beta 23 and the Player Summary doesnt get filtered with number of players at the table.

anyway, i just added 'Amount Won' to the Player Statistics and it gives me what i want
01-20-2009 , 06:57 PM
different problem now

i've added 'Hands' to the Player Statistics box, and it shows a different number than the Player Summary. i'm pretty certain the Player Summary is the correct number. filters are cleared

btw, the Hands, Sessions, and Positions tab all confirm the Player Summary total hands number. i don't know where the Player Statistics number is coming from

it looks like its reporting the total amount won for that limit incorrectly as well. i wonder if somehow its reading hands twice? basically the problem for me is, how can i be sure that i'm seeing accurate vpip numbers for that limit?

more info for you, when i add a filter for only $4NL, the numbers all match and are correct
01-20-2009 , 09:18 PM
now that i've run some more filters and cleared them, all data is back to normal and matches correctly. very weird few hours here..

Any idea how long it's going to be until the HUD has an interface like PAHUD?
