Just installed poker tracker, so far so good. I like it better than any of the other ones I have tested. But my question is, I don't want it put in observed hands in the database. I was just kinda playing around with the hud and every table I watched it would add those players to the database. I like to observe a lot, so is there a way to shut this off?

Just tried the Ongame HUD. So far pretty good, everything updated smoothly, but I was only 1-tabling to test it out.

However, it seems to be showing Hero stats even though I selected it not to on the configure hud options. It's correctly showing (the more limited) hero stats in the place I ask it to, but also in the normal place (i.e., where they would be if that player wasn't the hero). It's also showing a rather random number of hands for hero in this place (347) when hero has played >50k hands overall and about 30 this session. I'm playing under an alias if that makes a difference and at NextPoker.

does the hud work for sngs?

Hope the PT team fixes this...Every update so far has done this.
I know its only a minor inconvenience, but would like to see it

iPoker and Tilt SNGs are working fine for me..

For support, if PT3 running, I think it prevent Firefox from completely shuts down, so if I tried running firefox while PT3 is still running, firefox won start. There's still Firefox.eve running on Task manager, Processes tab.

Firefox running -> Starts PT 3 -> Close Firefox -> PT 3 still running -> launch Firefox -> Firefox launch failed

I noticed this in 2 - 4 beta back, nothing major so I didn't feel like reporting it.

A few things: like some others, I have some problems with the HUD.

Wherehas I could play normally with PT2 + PAHUD on iPoker with 14 tables open, it is now hardly playable with PT3 with only 5 or 6 tables open: lag all over the place, poker windows poping up all the time...Another annoying thing: when I browse an internet page on the side and decide to minimize it to get back at the poker tables, PT3 seems to completely freeze and it takes 6-7seconds for the table to be playable again.

So I've decided to wait, not using any HUD (PT2 since to be outdated for iPoker, displaying very weird stats for everyone) and manually importing hands. The only thing is that the clustering takes hours every time I manually import hands, even a small amount of them. Do I have to select "Cluster on completion" in the import options? It would save me a lot of time not to...

I play at ongame and the hud does not work with sng's. Can do sth. to make it work?

I know PT3 team have lots of different probelms to solve, but I have waited support to ongames tourneys too. Probably we never have chance to see it . I have used NotesNl for ongames sng's and I have nothing to complain about their hud. Works well. You should try too fismoluni.

Edit. Ok, I just checked out Notesnl -thread and it's future didn't looked bright. I just can't understand why it is so hard to bring tourney support to PT3 hud too (than god there is now cashgame hud at least).

Stupid question by a stupid man. I haven't used PT3 since the Ongame HUD didn't work but since it now does, how do I install beta 17? Do I need to first uninstall PT3 (haven't updated it in months)? I ask because I tried installing Beta 17 in the same folder as PT3 is in now but it didn't work.

If you install it in a new directory you'll actually have two PT3 installations, and you will lose any HUD customizations (which may not matter to you but might matter to some).

You should install it in the same directory. If you receive an unable to write error, make sure that PT3 is completely closed. If it appears closed press ctrl+alt+del and click Task Manager, change to the Processes tab and end any PokerTracker.exe processes to make sure it is well and truly closed and you should be able to proceed with the install at that point.

Anyone having problems with the hud on party in beta 17? Mine won't load at all

mine fired right up with a fresh install on vista sp1. It did take a min or 2 for it to come up, is your auto import on and did you start the hud?

If you remove the alias, do you still have the problem?

Are you running Vista? I had this problem when I was using Vista, but I don't think it was related to PT3 as it would happen at random other times. Firefox wouldn't start and I couldn't even kill the process. I had to reboot. My motherboard has two build in network cards, so I think that was causing the problem.

There still seems to be some performance issues with iPoker. I'm not sure what causes them yet, but we are looking into it.

You do not need to cluster after every import. Perhaps after every 50k hands or so would be best.

Were you having problems with beta 16?

I haven't tried. In any case, this problem seems to have been solved when I last tried it; I did some housekeeping in between which may have helped.

I already sent a support ticket on this, but just to flag up that if I open up a second table on Ongame the hud won't respond at all on this second table. The stats will appear, but nothing is movable, and the popups won't work. I tried this a few times (including after housekeeping) and got the same (lack of) response each time.

By the way, despite this, and I know this goes against much of the prevailing sentiment in this thread but I do like PT3. It looks very nice and pretty easy to use. And Table Tracker is very good even in its current rather primitive form.
