Beta 17 Released
Note: This is mainly an emergency bug fix release for the PokerStars hand history import problem. However, it contains some other less tested bug fixes and features.
Added:
- If the PostgreSQL service stops, PT3 attempts to restart it and reconnect
- Hud: OnGame support
Fixed:
- Import: Party hands with invalid dates will no longer import
- SQL: Divide by zero errors
- Stat: RFI (required adding new columns)
- Stat: Without Blind. If you don't win anything in the blind it now shows $0 instead of N/A.
- Filter: Call PF Raise. No longer includes 3 bet hands
- Import: Bug where SB was marked as open limping when calling a raise from the BB
- Reports: Simple filter wouldn't update when switching reports
- Cache: Message notifying user of unpopulated cache
- Cache: Column names starting with numbers
- Import: PokerStars change to hand history format
We had a decision to make regarding this release. We could have either 1) released beta 17 as the same code base of beta 16 with the PokerStars fix, or 2) release beta 17 with all the latest features/fixes. We chose 2 in order to get more fixes out to you and a highly requested feature. If there are major problems that we can't fix immediately, we can rollback and go with option 1.
Please keep in mind that this version did not get quite as much testing as we would like. In fact, the OnGame Hud has had no testing other than by me, so expect a few bugs with it. If you use the RFI stat anywhere in your Hud, you should rebuild the cache of every database used by the Hud.
This version also has a few annoyances fixed, such as the problem with losing the database connection and the incorrect "this database does not contain a populated cache" message. I did not get to the remaining Hud bugs in Beta 16 yet, so please don't expect much in terms of improvement there. Like I said, this is an impromptu release and isn't as complete as I would have liked.
The fixes are pretty minor, so there shouldn't be any major problems introduced by this version that wasn't in the last. As always, please let us know of any problems you have.
