OK, cool. No offense meant. I try not to be rude, but I do like my sarcasm.

The search feature works pretty good. Way better than the old search feature, before they changed to vB forums.

Not yet, but this is mentioned as being pretty high on the list - see the Development Timeline.

just wanted to give an update... probably not needed but oh well
trying to import my db to my laptop (5400rpm hd, so i do realize I wont get "great" import speeds)
but it's importing at a consistent 1.1 h/sec

LOLOLOLOL what a joke

and it's an extra slap in the face, cause I dont even care about the PT3 hud, POH ftw by the way. so waiting these months for the hud to be fixed sucks for me cause I dont even use it anyways

How big are the files you're trying to import? Try to split them up into smaller sizes and see if that helps. Also, I have seen people report that they were having speed issues when importing from a directory at the desktop because windows has some weird access flags for the desktop and that moving the folder elsewhere helped.

Well, in a way you could be interested in the HUD anyway. If you're an omaha player, you might be looking to update to PT3 omaha once it's released and that will have HUD support, so I'm sure you'd be happy if it was working flawlessly

A good chunk of them (hopefully all of them) should be eliminated for the next release.

You cannot filter for "most recent 2000 hands", no.

If you're talking about in the PT3 program you can filter by date (using the Filter button at the top right of the Texas Holdem tab) which should at least get you close to a reasonable number of hands. In the HUD this feature is not yet available though we are hoping it will be at some point.

Regarding the pop-up box in the HUD... I only see the percentages for a certain stat, whereas in PAHUD for PT2 you could see the sample as well.
In case I don't make myself clear, for example:

- in PT3 HUD you see:
CB flop 80
- in PAHUD for PT2:
CB flop 80 (80/100)
I found this very helpful. Is it possible for PT3 atm?

Thank you.

This would be very helpful to me as well.

i'm trying to import whatever size file PT3 makes when you export a database, they are approx 648kb size text files... I cant remember how many hands atm.

I even tried copying out like 100 hhs, and putting them into their own txt file, and importing that. and I get under 10hands/sec still...

and while that is better then 1h/sec. it's unfeasible to manually break apart the hh txt files into smaller ones cause I have like 800 txt files, and Ihave no programming skills to make a program to do it

also, moving to a nondesktop folder doesnt help unfortunately

is there a list of stats that are newly available? such as 3bet 4 bet fold?
08-08-2008 , 02:41 AM
is there an update on when pt3 will support a mac? mac software is SOOOO limited.
08-08-2008 , 02:55 AM
Clustering takes about 10 seconds to complete after upgrading to BETA 15. Is this normal? Before, it would take around 30 minutes.
08-08-2008 , 08:33 AM
While you are still free beta testing I would suggest getting PT3 Omaha up and running. Omaha is greatly gaining in popularity. The original PTO has a very limited trial and a separate purchase for HUD. Having PT3 Omaha as a tracker and integrated HUD with weeks/months of free beta testing will get many people hooked on trying Omaha. This will vastly increase your Omaha sales in the long run.

No offense, taken

There are some people who prefer PT2 still, but we are working hard to get the remaining kinks out of the system and then we are going to start adding new features rapidly, once we've got all of the features of PT2 -- and more -- hopefully you'll see the light . . .

It's not possible by just checking a checkbox. That said, it is possible with a registered copy and a willingness to create several custom statistics.

For a detailed walkthrough, see this thread.

There isn't a list of "These stats are the new ones", but there is a big list of stats, see the Statistical Reference Guide and the Database Schema.

We need the normal windows version of PT3 to reach a level of stability first before we begin porting it over. Unfortunately I don't have any new information here, though.

If your database is sufficiently small (or your system sufficiently powerful and your database is smallish) this is possible, though 10 seconds seems lower than reasonable imho. If you could attempt to cluster with logging enabled and then PM me the PokerTracker.log file afterwards I'd be happy to take a look at it and see if there's anything going obviously wrong. (The cluster mechanism in Beta 15 is significantly different than in prior versions, and should go faster pretty much across the board, though.)

Meh, first time I played on Stars with PT3 (played FT before, worked ok)... Now it seems to only detect 3 out of 4 tables... What seems to be the problem there?

It used to be possible in an older beta and some guy on your team said that they planned on putting it back it because it was taken out by mistake
