what i did with PT3 was filter for "raised first in" and then later added the "facing 3bet" filter, and divided the hands.
It's entirely possible that they are not. If it seems high, try going through the hands you filtered down to and see if there are any cases where it's incorrect. Then please attach those files to support ticket for us to fix.

There is a free AHK HUD available for download on our forums.

I exported all my PT2 hands to files and imported with PT3.

After 1:30 all 336k hands were imported and clustering began. The import status window says that after 1:45 elapsed clustering was completed. But the clustering window is still open and appears to be processing.

Edit: It finished up on its own, but this might still be a problem worth addressing.

The clustering window was still open and the progress bar was still indicating progress? Do you know how much time passed between the entry in the import status window saying clustering was complete and the window closing?

Yeah the clustering window was still open and the progress bar was still going after the status window indicated clustering had finished.

This lasted for about 25 minutes after the status window indicated the clustering had vinished.

I live in the central time zone and have the "my day starts at" option in the preferences set to 1am, but I still get hand histories going to the wrong day sometimes around midnight. Anyone know why? I play mostly on stars btw.

Mine did the same when I imported some hands today. The imort status says the clustering is complete and gave a time, but the pop up for the clustering continuted to run and did not close for another 15 minutes. The progress bar showed it as complete. I let it go, because I was confused if it was done or not. I do know that it was still using quite a bit of my CPU usage.

There is no "my day starts at" option in PT3 yet and PT3 uses your timezone settings automatically. The "my day starts at" function is coming though.

That same window is used for analyzing too. Are you sure after it was done clustering, it wasn't analyzing the data?

It certainly could have been. Is there a way to tell if that is what is going on?

It will say "clustering" or "analyzing" in the text of the window.

Any reason why my W$SD is 5 points higher in PT3 than PT2 for the last 4k hands?

In PT3, when you split a pot but lose money it is counted as a win. In PT2, anytime you win money it counts as a win, if you lose money it counts as a loss. A 5% difference seems a little steep though, maybe not with such a small sample size and considering W$SD is Won Showdown / Went to Showdown.

Best regards,

Derek

We're hoping for an end of February release, but very likely that will be pushed back slightly.

Thanks for the clear writeup of your process. That was the direction I was heading and what I will do if the next update doesn't solve the import crash problem.

Ummm so I just downloaded the beta, and imported my hand histories.

For some reason... it never records me as winning a SNG. It just says that I have lost 27000, which is approximately my total buyin amount. Im very confused.

edit: I realized this is true for all of my opponents as well. What am I doing wrong?
01-29-2008 , 05:44 PM
Did you enter Tournament Summaries for all of those SNG's?

this is my first experience with pokertracker so I have no idea what that means. If you could explain I would appreciate it.

clustering is too slow
01-29-2008 , 06:02 PM
I dont play many tourney's, but I know that you have to manually enter Tournament Summaries - so that PT will know the Tourney Cost + Entry Fee + Payouts. I don't play enuff tourney's to care to track them. Someone else will be able to explain better or provide instructions.
