Beta 13 works fine at for me at titan. The only complain I have is no hud after table change at Mtts.

I believe if you stop and restart the auto-import process it'll pick the new table up. This will, of course, be fixed, but in the meantime at least there's a workaround

I saw how PT2 worked with Access. When the database got to about 700M it would start to seize up and lag pretty badly. Now, with the current database schema, 700M is something like 70,000 hands in postgres. (I'm not sure if Access is more efficient at saving data; though I'd imagine not, starting at the same place is reasonable; I think my arguments hold if it's 60k or 80k hands just as well.) I've seen threads where players have played more than that in a week. Certainly anybody who plays full time will get there in 2-3 months if not much sooner. At which point there has to be complicated database rotation and it's a real mess. As I'm sure you're aware Postgres scales much, much better and really, once it's installed you can more or less leave it alone.

I'm having HUD trouble with PT3. 1 of the players' stats on my HUD never updates. He always has 1 hand played etc. Everyone else's stats at the table are updating normally. Even if I try to mine another table the players stats always show as 1 hand played.

well the newest version crashes like 8 times an hour, especially if theres any sort of lag in my computer (even if i click tile tables on full tilt)

also the hud stats dont update properly

kind of disappointed

Incidentally: when you say latest version you do mean Beta 13, yes? If not, then you should download and install Beta 13 without PostgreSQL from the download page; simply scroll down past build 2.

yeah i mean Beta 13. Ive done numerious tickets, support said it was going to be fixed in 13 but sadly, its not. so ive sent another file. sadly, the layout.pt3 could not be attached for obvious reasons

No refunds. It's like 50 bucks or whatever so get over it. Im as annoyed as anybody else that it's not perfect but then it's unreasonable to expect it would be. You should have tried it out to begin with.

I am just setting PT3 up. It is importing from stars but I dont see the stats in the cash game screen. It wont allow me to enter my screenname and there arent any player names or stats listed in the cash games section.

I will be getting a refund.

The product is advertised falsely on the Poker Tracker website, half the features dont work and it is un-useable. They arent allowed to sell crappy products that dont do what they are supposed to.

Why didn't you try the trial before you bought it?

What are the limitations of the trial?

I've read that PT3 doesn't do so hot with multi-tabling, so I dunno if the trial would be sufficient to test the product. I'll probably just buy it anyways on a gamble because of the upside, but on principle I don't like buying unstable products.

How do I create a report that filters a specific line a player takes? For example, Villain raises pre-flop, check flop, check turn, and bet river. I want to see all the hands for this line. How do I do this?

You can probably just make a hand filter for that instead of a report. I have no clue how to do reports, it's all gibberish to me.

Yes, you could achieve this with the normal filters. Something like this:

Actions (preflop) -> Any Raise
Actions (flop) -> Check
Actions (turn) -> Check
Actions (river) -> Bet

If you add them at the same time they'll automatically get put together with the AND command, otherwise select them in the box on the right and click the "AND Selected" button.

You need to click the "Refresh" button to update the stats - they do not update after every hand or they would never sit still!

Man people are melodramatic. Windows 95 was a complete heap of crap when it came out. It underperformed and crashed every five minutes. Are you planning to sue Microsoft as well?

People are allowed to sell bad software products (not that I think PT3 is bad, it's a bit unstable, but things will be ironed out). If they don't offer trials, don't buy them. If they do offer trials, make sure the thing works before buying it. If you couldn't be bothered doing that, despite the warnings in bolded caps that you should do it, feel free to rant and rave about the evils of the product on public forums, but don't expect people to take you seriously.

Is there a way to scale the stats up and down for when the tables get bigger or smaller?
