Just froze up on me and crashed. Where do I download beta 12 from it worked perfectly for me, I can't find it on the PT3 website.

Try this: http://www.pokertracker.com/products...-v3.00.b12.exe

I just took the link to build 13 and changed the file name to b12, so that should give you what you're looking for.

So I am using Build 2, with some issues with the HUD (I just restart the program after 400hands)....is it worth going to Beta 13?

No, iPoker does not write HH for observed hands, you need a 3rd party datamining app.

This is changed in Beta 13.

I think it's in beta 13, Josh says no re-import required.

If Build 2 works OK for you then you would be better to wait for the next full "Build", but you can always install beta 13 to try, and then re-install Build 2 if it gives you problems.

I play on Party.

I am also having problems running PT2 alongside beta13. I started PT2 after PT3 was already running, and it didnt show up. I checked task manager and there was ptrack2.exe running, but couldnt see the program anywhere.
After I exited PT3, PT2 starts up ( I didnt start it again, was that same process from before). Cant reproduce cause I am playing right now, gonna stick with PT2 for now.

uhh, in beta 13 6max hands on party are importing as full ring hands. So now in my database that I have only played 6max on, some hands are 6max and some are full ring.

NoMeansYes_ have you got the "Adjust Qualifying Tables Limits" ticked? I think you have to that ticked to automatically get 6-max hands recognised as such. I have a feeling when I moved from build 2 to beta 12 that for whatever reason it got "unticked" during the update.

Re: New Software: PokerTracker 3 - 3.00.2 (Beta 13 available) - 12-June-2008

I searched this thread but I haven't seen an explicit answer to these two things:

1) Will PT3 be compatible with Idleminer HG for Bodog or Dogwatch HG like PT2 was?
2) If so, is there an ETA on Bodog compatibility?

Appreciate the help in advance. I've been using PT3 on Stars and Tilt and I guess I'm in the minority, as I've had very few problems with the software. I'd just like to use it with Bodog as well, if possible.

Getting PT3 to be at least as good as PT2 (and do everything that PT2 did) should be a higher priority. Please give TableTracker a low priority until PT3 is complete. Thanks.

I've bashed the PT guys my last couple of posts so I would like to say that I just completed a 750 hand session 12 tabling with no problems with the HUD. This is the first time I have been able to use the HUS since BETA 9. Thanks guys!!!

I made a few changes that might improve import speeds, though I haven't gotten much in word of how well it worked, so I didn't list it.

Just one more Hud problem: new tables aren't recognized (therefore no stats). I have to shut down autoimport and then restart it again
Does PT3 display the PT icon on the table? Does the Import Status list the hands being imported? What site are you playing on?

If you wouldn't mind, if you could reproduce this and attach the PokerTracker.log and PokerTrackerHud.log files to a support ticket, it might help me find the source of the crash.

While this version appears to work much better for a lot of people, there are still some issues that need resolved. I can't give a firm ETA, but it will be at least another week.

1. Yes.
2. No ETA. Stability is the number one priority right now. Once that's obtained, new features will be added rapidly.

It takes me two minutes to add the lines of code to add PokerStars support on my end. The hard work is being done by someone else.

There were a few import problems fixed, so if they affect you, you should re-import.

Glad to hear it. You have no idea how much of a relief it is for me to hear that this version is actually working well for most people now. Hopefully I can start tearing through all the new features you guys want soon.

Can you put an option in to like restore the default hud? Including the on table stats and the popup? My hud randomly just went nuts and all my fonts changed to size like 1,000 and i had to re-do everything. Now the popup doesnt work at all and i can't get my own custom popup stats to work. A restore default option would be nice in a situation like this..

I think if you rename the PT3/Data/Layout.pt3 file to something different, PT3 will generate a new default layout.

I just gave Beta 13 a quick test. While I still have some problems with pop-up stats not always appearing, this is a marked improvement over both Beta 12 and Build 2. I look forward to the next release.

Now Josh, go spend some time with your wife and kid!

This is not currently possible in PT3. You can still do this using the following method though (thanks to _dave_).

1. Create a .txt file.
2. Enter the following lines into it.
3. Save the text file as a .cmd file
4. Run the .cmd file

"PATHNAME\bin\psql" -A -t -d "DATABASE" -U USERNAME -c "select history from holdem_hand_histories hhh, holdem_hand_summary hhs where hhh.id_hand = hhs.id_hand and hhs.id_site = SITENO and hhs.date_played >= 'DATE 00:00:00' order by hhs.hand_no asc;" -o FILENAME.txt

PATHNAME - This is the pathname to your PostgreSQL directory. I think it's likely to be: C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL 8.3
DATABASE - This is the name of the database you want to extract hands from. This is the PostgreSQL database name, not the PT3 database name. If you go in PT3>Database>Database Management and look at your databases, there will be two names. You want the one from the right column.
USERNAME - This is your PostgreSQL username. If you used the default then it is: postgres
SITENO - This is the site number that PT3 uses. Stars = 100, Party = 200, Full Tilt = 300. I forgot what the rest were. If you played hands from more than one site, you need to recopy all the lines of code for each site.
DATE - This is the start date (inclusive) that you want to export hands from. It should be in the format YYYY-MM-DD.
FILENAME - This is the file that you want to export to. You can put in any name. It doesn't matter.

For example, if my database is called PT3DB and I want to export all of my Stars hands from June into a file called export.txt, it would look like:

"C\Program Files\PostgreSQL 8.3\bin\psql" -A -t -d "PT3DB" -U postgres -c "select history from holdem_hand_histories hhh, holdem_hand_summary hhs where hhh.id_hand = hhs.id_hand and hhs.id_site = 100 and hhs.date_played >= '2008-06-01 00:00:00' order by hhs.hand_no asc;" -o export.txt

Someone please correct me if I made a mistake. I'm not 100% sure if the pathname is supposed to have quotes. If there's no spaces in the pathname, then it doesn't need quotes, but if there are spaces then it's either single or double quotes. I'm pretty sure double quotes are correct.

Path must have quotes if it includes spaces (like in your example) and I think everything else you wrote is correct too.

At the moment there are issues that need to be worked out with PokerStars. Mostly, we need their blessing. Once they tell us that we can use TableTracker on their site, support for them will be added rapidly. If they continue to tell us that we are barred from providing this service, we will respect their wishes.

We are talking to them trying to get these things worked out.
