What do you mean? You can edit the pop up stats. It may not be the most user friendly thing to do at the moment, and they are aware of that and will improve it, but you can still do it by selecting the "Default Popup" in the "Groups" tab and then go to the "Stats" tab to customize it.

Selective purge is unfortunately not added yet, but it's coming.

Umm, this depends on what your goal is. By your previous post, I assumed you wanted to build a PT3 database using only some of the hands from your PT2 database. But once you've exported the raw HHs, you can do whatever with them. You can build a PT3 DB, a PT2 DB, or a DB with any other tracking software.

Re: New Software: PokerTracker 3 - 3.00.2 (incl. TableTracker) - 16-May-2008

This one's weird: I just had to add my pokerstars name to my aliases although it was already in there. It's now in there twice. I have no idea what triggered this.

And... I've got some full tilt sessions (by table) with... 0 hands? The times are the same as the actual sessions I played on those tables, which are also shown.

And... some of my hands aren't showing up anywhere, of 770 hands today (PT2), PT3 only acknowledges that I played 647. One session (table) should be 70 hands, but it's 27 in PT3 although if I try to reimport the file in question, it says 71 duplicates (don't ask me where that 1 hand went, maybe I was sitting out).

great thanks.

Edit: How do I export a large group of hands without having to put them in 300 hand files?

Your settings won't be affected by upgrades. Transparent backgrounds are not yet supported.

Much appreciated.
The lookup table was added to the schema before we made the change for bb/sb positions. It will need updated to reflect the change.

Every statistic I create shows 0's. I've even tried debugging to see if something as simple as "count: player is in SB AND player flat calls" will output anything on the screen (of course the syntax is correct as it validates correctly), and I get 0's still. I even imported someone's random stat (I believe it's call turn cbet in 3bet pot) and I get the same. I would imagine if you mess with columns that it takes a while to populate and that it's obviously not retroactive, since that column didn't exist... but I've let it work for several hours and every stat I have shows 0's. I'm 90% my formatting of the output is correct.

Here are some of the stats/columns I created... please keep in mind that I play HU exclusively. Is it technically a limp in HU if they just complete the SB?

COLUMNS:

cnt_p_limp_call_opp
Description: Number of times player has opportunity to limp call

Expression:
sum(if[holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_p_limp AND holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_p_face_raise, 1, 0])

cnt_p_limp_call
Description: Number of times player limps and calls a raise

Expression:

sum(if[holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_p_open AND holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_p_limp AND holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_p_face_raise AND holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_f_saw, 1, 0])

Statistic:
LC%

Description: Percentage of the time a player elects to limp call

Value Expression:
(cnt_p_limp_call / cnt_p_limp_call_opp) * 100

Format:

Title: LC%

Format Expression: /%.2f

I've looked that code over a hojillion times and it seems to be fine unless I'm mistaken about some of the "axioms" like exactly what cold calling preflop means and what limping preflop means in a HU match. But I have to assume something is wrong with PT3 or my set up of PT3 if I can't even get an imported stat to display anything but 0's.
Export some of your custom stats and attach them to a support ticket on our site. I'll take a look at closer them.

Right-click one of the handles of the PT icon on the table and drag it off the pot amount.

PostgreSQL might not be running. Go Start -> Programs -> PostgreSQL -> Start service. If that doesn't work, try rebooting. If that doesn't work, contact us via our support system.

well, is that going to be available for tournaments as it was in PT2?
Yes, we will be adding many more stats, both for tournaments and for cash.

I misunderstood. I don't have a lot of time at the moment, but if you submit a support ticket, I will figure it out and build the report for you.

Set auto-import to move processed files.

the original name has one sng in the database, and the alias doesn't have any tourney info, if that helps. also, both names are on ftp - using a combination of the original from ftp and an alias from pokerstars does work, though.
Please enable logging, reproduce this problem, then attach the PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket on our site. Be sure to include a description of your problem.

How large is your database, and what report/reports is taking 30 minutes?

Does the PT icon appear on your iPoker tables?

I'm working hard to get the next release out. It's taking longer than I thought, but early results seem to indicate all lag problems will be completely gone!

PokerAce, given what you said in your last post when would you expect to get the next release out(ish)? As I understood it the plan was for a new build around today, but I take it that it will now be a bit longer.

The SQL error on the notes button on the replayer wasn't fixed in build 2 BTW.

FTP's deep HU tables are being imported as regular tables (i.e. suggesting they are FR).

There's definitely something wrong. I imported about 3M hands and it only took 2-3 hours to cluster.

You can probably get a faster response here: http://www.pokertracker.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=17

Re: New Software: PokerTracker 3 - 3.00.2 (incl. TableTracker) - 16-May-2008

so i had to make a new database when i d/l'ed the official PT3 when it came out. it said my old database (1 million hh's) was outdated. not that big of deal so i make a new database and try to export/re-import the hands into that one. however, i get this message when i try to export

"unable to execute query: select hhh.id_hand from holdem_hand_histories hhh, holdem_hand_histories hhh, holdem_hand_summary hhs Where hhs.id_hand=hhh id_hand and hhs.id_site=300;; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: could not read block 9543 of relation 1663/25306/33823: Invalid argument"

any way to fix this? i did get some very recent HH's from a different site (stars) exported into the designated folder but theres still a ~1 million from FT

edit: damnn Poker Ace you must be bogged down with all these support questions

And again it's not recognising my alias (pokerstars again), but this time only on the tournament tab and it (understandably) reports an error if I try to add the same alias for the third time.

Also, it seems to think that 0:44-01:27 is 103 minutes, and all the other sngs in the set are an hour too long as well.

What you probably actually want to do is run the database server on one computer, and connect via PT3 remotely. If you setup PostgreSQL in one place all of the database will be on that computer, if you connect remotely you'll still be playing on your machine. See: How To: Network PostgreSQL

I appreciate all your hard work and I really am trying to be patient. But I sent my Pokerstars transfer like 4 or 5 days ago and I notified you through the support feature of your site.

Is it really taking this long to get to sending out registration codes? I'm sympathetic to the workload you must be under but I was hoping to have it by now.

I'd be glad to resend or something if my message has been lost in translation somehow.

Thanks again for a wonderful program..
