Reports

I would like to try using the Reports tab, but I am having trouble getting started. Where can I find sample reports and/or information on the syntax for the filters and such?

Thanks

I would DEFINITELY attach the log to a support ticket @ PT3.

My HUD is gone even though it says "start hud" in the import tab.

Also, this is probably known but the filter won't report for today, even if you do "since z/xy" where z/xy = today.

fwiw I posted some time ago that there we no stats apearing on my tables. I had the PT icon on the table but no stats. The stats started working again after I unchecked the "stats from current cash limit only" box.

what you want is "fold raise to 3bet" - IDK if there's already a statistic for this in the GUI if you have to make a "custom stat" for it - but the info is in the database certainly.

Could it be possible to give the user the possibility of simply typing the SQL queries that define the custom stats, creating/sharing them right now is just too hard. Unless the current system somehow does stat compiling/optimizations that wouldn't be possible if the user was given the freedom to type the query.

EDIT: if security is an issue, just scan the query and allow only reading, not writing/deletion of data.

Yes please I'm also pretty handy with SQL and would like to write my own stats

Care to tell me how? Apparently it's not as easy and putting "hands" in the report stats box and then filtering for amt_rake>=0.40 AND amt_rake<=3.00. Not sure how you would get the hands with a rake of 3.00 using the same report.

This report thing kind of sucks imo and the documentation is REALLY bad. I would love to be able to use it but I just fingure it out and I am usaully good at figuring out this kind of ****.

+2. It'd be much easier if we could do it through pgadmin or whatever.

This is *exactly* what AHK-HUD lets you do.

Talking about AHK-Hud, could you fix the FullTilt problem?

Pllleassse?

Problem seems to be that hands you play are recorded in a .txt file which the HUD doesnt update correctly,
while observed hands are working because those are stored in .tmp fles.

Yeah, I'll be looking at that again tonight.

Last time I just observed 12 tables for a couple hours and was like "eh? works fine "

Yeah, observing works fine. Its a strange world after all.

Anyone should take a look at the AHK-hud when pt3-hud isnt working perfect for them right now, its awesome.

Re: New Software: PokerTracker 3 - 3.00.2 (incl. TableTracker) - 16-May-2008

PT3 is just impossible to use (on ipoker at least) with 4 or more tables, so laggy it's incredible (for example when I launch a firefox windows on the side and minimize it, it takes about 6-7 seconds for the tables and the HUD to display again). I used to 14-tables no prob with PT2 + PA hud.

So I've decided to switch back to PT2 and surprise: hh reading is messed up, telling me that I'm up enormous amounts ($45k yesterday and I played 100 hands of 400NL...).

What's the deal here?

Re: New Software: PokerTracker 3 - 3.00.2 (incl. TableTracker) - 16-May-2008

I'd like an option to turn on displaying mucked hands without having to have the HUD/Import going.

Sometimes FT lag gets bad and I just can't have the HUD and import going, but if there was a way to still get the mucked cards (which I assume is much less resource intensive than the rest of the HUD) that would be great.

Re: New Software: PokerTracker 3 - 3.00.2 (incl. TableTracker) - 16-May-2008

Dave had posted this, is it enough?

Code:

(SUM(case when (hhps.flg_p_first_raise) AND (hhps.enum_p_3bet_action = 'F') then 1 else 0 end)) / (SUM(case when (hhps.flg_p_first_raise) AND (hhps.flg_p_3bet_def_opp) then 1 else 0 end))

BTW, who discovered this? PT3 support claims the "Fold to 3bet" stat is already accurate. http://www.pokertracker.com/forums/v...tart=40#p26419

The HUD is amazing imo.

It has now completely replaced Realtime HUD for me, and it's even better.
