Yes

When I start playing in the day, I have 1 hand stats on the players. This increases till I bust out. The stats for me is ALSO on based on 1 hand, 2 hands and so on. Starts from 1 every day.

Then if I continue playing and one of the players from before join the same table. I have more hands on that person than new players.

It's like it only uses data from the current "auto-import session".

I created a new database because the format changed in a beta version. Do I need to setup the HUD somehow?

Thanks for the answers!

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 11 Release - 06-May-2008) - incl. HUD!

Will be a preview of the stats in a table with his grid like PAH to see how the stats looks instead of opening a NL2 table everytime we wanna see it?

Sorry if it is already answered

If you hold the mouse over the stat you will see a text message appear. Besides, you can use abbreviations if you want, for that: configure > conf. hud > cash > stats > stats > choose your stat (eg: "Att. to steal") and in the table below you see a row called "Prefix"

Another thing about the hud, if you have a table in the bottom of your monitor and you click on villains' stats you cant see the popup at all

How come PT3 does not recognize HU, 6max or FR tables? I've played some HU sessions but those stats are now mixed with my 6max stats. I'm playing on iPoker.

No, it's not that.

This is PT2:

This is PT3:

PT2 recognizes the hands as 6max/FR/HU, PT3 doesn't.

maybee the session tab can help you figure this out.
PT3 currently only determines that the table is 6 max if the hand history identifies it as such. The next release will have the option to treat all qualifying hands as 6 max.

As long as they are importing into separate databases, there should be no problems.

Can you change this so it only changes the opacity of the background? I think this is pretty big. It's really ugly to have a solid color background, but if you drop it to 50% or so it becomes difficult to read the stats (and still looks kind of ugly).

The end result I'm looking for are a bunch of stats with no background color at all. Am I missing something obvious or this not possible yet?

Edit:
Other small quirks...

At a quick glance I couldn't find where to get the equity of my hand vs villain(s) hand in the replayer. Hmm?
Lastly, it would be pretty nice if you could overlay villain(s)'s stats in the replayer itself.

Sometimes when I go over sessions (as they happened) I find myself going back and forth in the list to see what villain's stats were.
The translucency affects everything. We may add more options to this in the future.

The replayer will be getting a major overhaul and will definitely have the Hud stats displayed on it.

Asking for a password. Obv I already have PostgreSQL installed as I had PT2 and had all the other beta versions working.

Both my roomates have run into the same problem with this popping up and preventing us from using PT3.

Just worried that the same thing will happen if I purchase PT3 on the 15th.
If you used PT3 to install PostgreSQL, the default password is "dbpass" (no quotes). You can also go to Start -> Programs -> PostgreSQL -> Configuration Files -> Edit pg_hba.conf. Change the line:
Code:
host all all 127.0.0.1/32 md5
To:
Code:
host all all 127.0.0.1/32 trust
Restart the service, then leave the password blank in PT3.

Your own stats are only meant to be for the current session/tournament.

Anytime before 11:59 PM. I'm not going to give a timezone though. We'll work to get it out ASAP.

The only new site available tomorrow will be OnGame. Sites will be added rapidly though over the next couple of months.

If the hand history doesn't specify, PT3 doesn't know.

See what you can do.

That + some type of 'equity' vs 'actual $' graph + position based HUD information = you convinced me to happily upgrade from PTv2 to PTv3.

Btw one last thing. Can you squeeze in an 'OK' button in the HUD layout window, and change the 'Apply' button to actually do its job (apply the changes while keeping the window open). I had to bring up the HUD menu like 800 separate times to get the HUD setup.

That would be nice.

Also: will there be a cheaper version for microstakes available (just like HEM)?
90 $ is like 9 buy-ins on 10NL, 4.5 on 20NL, etc.

Becks,

You can keep one database on one computer, and share the database over the local network.

See the following How To from the PT3 forums:
http://www.pokertracker.com/forums/v...hp?f=45&t=4638

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 11 Release - 06-May-2008) - incl. HUD!

Will be possible to lock the villains' stats? With right mouse multitablers (by default) use it to bet X% of pot, and maybe when you are betting you move the stats and then appears in other site xD

This is maybe answered, will be possible to drag the stats one by one or by rows/cols instead of moving the entire block of stats?

Thanks for helping

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 11 Release - 06-May-2008) - incl. HUD!

will there be a way to stop getting stats on certain players if we want to?

like let's say i get 1k hands datamined on a player -- i don't want to get hands on him anyone, but a month from now maybe i'll want to get hands on him again.

this doable?

Pt3 beta 11 stay on "populating" at player summary. No filters.

I imported about 700k hands from HH files exported from PT2.

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 11 Release - 06-May-2008) - incl. HUD!

Just downloaded and purchased it, works great so far I just got a couple of questions:
I received my registration code on the site when I purchased it but where can I fill in the code and register pokertracker3?
And can't seem to find how to change the stats that appear on the popup, can you do this at all?

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 11 Release - 06-May-2008) - incl. HUD!

I've looked at the popup group but I don't see a way to arrange the flop, turn and river stats side by side by side.

Flop Stats|Turn Stats|River Stats

You wrote:
"It would probably be easier if you created a new group rather than trying to edit the group that's currently there. What you want to do is create a grid group, then you need to add each row (Flop Stat A, Turn Stat A, River Stat A, New Line, Flop Stat B, Turn Stat B, River Stat B, New Line, etc.)."

Is there anyway to use a vertical line to separate the columns?

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 11 Release - 06-May-2008) - incl. HUD!

I'm not really sure how to explain this but hopefully I come close.

I set up groups for individual statistics to only show when I want to be alerted to a special situation. For example, I set up a group for WTSD. The default color for that stat is black. The table I use has a black background. I want this stat to display only if WTSD is greater than lets say 40%. So, I set the range up to display that number in bright pink when WTSD has a min of 40 and max of 100. If it is less than 40 then I see nothing as the number is displayed in black which is the same color as my table. This seems to be a great way to alert me of these types of situations instead of always taking a note and having to open up the note and read it.

Anyway, my problem is when a new player sits down and plays a few hands and goes to showdown and has 100% showdown and his stat is displayed. This is meaningless because he does not have enough hands played to make the stat worth displaying yet.

Is there any way to set a group to be only displayed after 'X' number of hands?

I've also done this for cbet Flop and attempt to steal stats. It helps keep the table a lot less cluttered and only displays when you want to exploit something significant rather than always displaying 'meaningless average' numbers.
