***Edit 3 - PT2 and PT3 show the exact same # of hands for January - 5,825. PT3 shows almost double the Profit of PT2. FWIW - my HM shows 5,865 hands (40 more) but the profit is w/in $0.45 of the profit in PT2. I don't know why or where PT3 decided I made double my profit this month - but I am much more inclined to believe PT2/HM is closer to the actual.

IT seems to be an error from a FTP session $3 capped 5c/10c NLHE 6max, where we were open shoving multi-way. It appears to be showing the $45.xx I won as being 3x the actual amount. I will try to get some screen-shots and export those specific hands from pt2?

fwiw, just finished linking all my aliases for party poker, empire, etc and they all worked well.

I will now link the PS alias to this one and then FT. BIgger files there.

Add new filters please: cbet & won pot, cbet & get called, cbet & get raised, cbet & get raised & folded, fold to cbet, fold to second-barrel etc.

Currently PT3 is PT2 with new look and 3bet stats. I hope it will be better soon

I uninstalled then reinstalled postgresql and PT3. Then I imported the HHs using the beta version 2. Now, numbers in the player summary pane and the player statistics pane only show slight difference. For example, there is a difference of only 6hands(out of ~30k hands) with regards to the "# of hands played." But there still exists a considerable gap in $ won numbers.

I am pretty sure 90+% of 2+2 has no understanding of what "Beta" means.

We are agreeing to be a "Beta Tester", not someone that bought the software, but someone willing to help PT3 debug it before final release for sale. You aren't supposed to be comparing or judging it, as much as you are supposed to be Testing and DeBugging it for them.

Give them constructive comments and criticisms of PT3, and send proper errors thru their easy to use support ticket system. Don't complain about features they haven't yet had time to add - because they want the core debugged first. Help them make it better so they can release it sooner.

Ipoker for NL Hold'em is as big as party or fulltilt if not bigger. I hope PT3 supports it soon.

I mean a hud is obv crucial, but if there is a temp solution that some third party coded - so be it for now. What it comes to now, its not just a beta test its an actual war for the market since many people who were frantically waiting for pt3 to arrive, will now jump ships to manger if support for their sites does not come out very soon. Why wait weeks and weeks and loose money if you can pay a fraction of a BI and get something working right away right now. And then it may be a problem trying to get them back - some would not want to spend more money, some would be too lazy or happy as they are.

Its probably well understood and known, the main reason people want a tracking software is not for all the statistics and tracking faetures, but for the hud. And given the circumstances, I rather have a relatively ****ty hud and maybe not so stable software but the one that supports my site than some better piece of software that I can load my DB into, but has no hud nor support for my site. I'd be willing to put up with difficulties as long as I can start using it now in real time.

You can't (at this point). They're still working on the preferences-part.

I think the alias-adding part needs some tweaking. When I try to find an alias there's no way to filter (right?) except by site. It's quite a small box for the number of players in it (>20.000?).

Also, when I finally find myself (sounds very philosophical, lol) it takes PT3 a long time to actually save it (I guess all the hands are updated in the DB). Any hope in speeding up this process?

Whats that import status window for? When importing hands, I dont care which HH is currently importing, but how many hands done already (which can be seen in the hands imported window).

Cant you add the possibility to switch of the window below? I think it uses some ressources to update the current files importing, which is really unnecessary.

I've just played a short 5 table session on Stars and on importing hands to both PT2 & PT3 one off the tables shows different Total Rake Paid amounts. On PT 2 it's $2.95 and on PT3 it's $4.45.

The rest of the info on that table is correct ie. hands played, amount won etc.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem as fozzy. Alias take a long long time.

The aliasing process is done in a way that takes longer up front, but makes retrieves simple and fast. As fast as if there were no alias set at all.

I will be adding a search box so you can find the screename you are looking for easier.

Was this with beta 2? I fixed some problems with the rake in beta 2.

PT2/PA Hud will continue to be supported for a time after the release of PT3.
