Will there be UB support in PT3 official release?
05-11-2008 , 05:41 AM
Omaha and Stud support have been said to be added later this year as ports. Does this mean that we'd have to pay to have these programs added to PT3 or will the be updates that will become available to PT3 owners?

If its an add on that you must buy, what is the expected price tag? and will there be a similar discount depending on the amount of time you've owned PT Omaha and PT Stud? This has been my main delay in purchasing the other two PT products, as they aren't my main games, so I wouldn't get nearly as much value before the release date later this year.

Will any improvements made to the software after its 5/15 release also be free to download to the earliest buyers?

How do I move the hud logo in the top center of the screen on pokerstars?

Also when I try to color code the stats in pahud configure, it closes pt3 automatically.

Ok, I did this yesterday, no response yet,

but I understand its not really at the top of the PT3-to-do-list these days.

Sorry if this question might have been answered already. But how do I import my PT2 data in PT3.

I tried using the Convert PT2 database feature but it said it did not find any PT2 databases.

Thanks.

At the moment PT3 will only convert PT2 postgres databases. If you have an access database you will need to Export Hand Histories to File (Utilities menu) then do a manual import to get them into PT3.

Not in the initial commercial release, but within two months of it.

We will likely have a separate payment for Omaha and Stud, but we haven't decided anything on pricing yet, so I can't comment on that. All improvements during the 3.xx lifetime of PT3 will be free to anyone who purchases PT3.

Move the logo by right-clicking the hands to either side of the logo and draggging.

Can you walk me through exactly what you're doing to cause the crash?

We'll get to it. We've really been swamped lately. We have a lot to do before Thursday.

The conversion only works with PostgreSQL databases. If you have an Access database, you'll need to convert it. It also only works if your PT2 database has the hand history files in it.

You can always export your PT2 hands to disk and import those into PT3.

Never mind I'm dumb.

When will Absolute support be added?
05-11-2008 , 01:05 PM
We're adding sites in order of size: http://pokerscout.com

Hi,

what happened to Standard Deviation Stats? They are no longer there, is that right?

Is it possible to calculate it using custom stats? (how?)
05-11-2008 , 04:15 PM
Has anyone figured out how to create custom table averages that are not weighted? The current weighted averages throw everything off if one or two players have significantly more hands than everyone else. I would like to fix this myself instead of waiting for the option in PT3. It is very important in table/seat selection.

why the stats appear over my name (i alwas center myself in FT)? I cant see my $$. Ty.

Josh: I removed all the previous software including Postgre, then I reinstalled the Beta 11 with Postgre. When I tried to reinstall the Postgre, I got the following error message:

Failed to run initdb: 1!
Please see login file C:\Program
Files\PostgreSQL\8.3\tmp\initdb.log'

This seems to be a pattern.

Right click and drag on the boxes to move them.

When PT3 is commercially released, will all the features actually be there? Such as observed stats and autorate?

Non-weighted table averages will be coming soon.

Delete the C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.3 directory prior to reinstalling.

No. We will be adding a few more features before commercial release. Many more features will be added during the next two-three months.

Hi, Just got this error and managed to read it before my laptop completely froze and then restarted:

----

Runtime Error:

Program: C:\Program Files\PokerTracker3\PokerTracker.exe

R6025
Pure virtual function call

----

What the hell is that and why is it rebooting my laptop?

I'm interested in this as well and didn't see PA respond to it.

Seems to be a whole lot of problems with the HUD in the early going. I'm hoping they get fixed and the HUD runs efficiently for degenerate multi-tablers like myself and I also hope that we would get the chance to try it first.

I can't use pokertracker since the new beta...
There's a PostgreSQL Database error...
It says Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3 Beta DB1
Reason: Unable to login to database (template1). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused Is the server running on host "localhost" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port?

PT3 has thrown that error for others, but you're the first it's frozen the computer. I'm guessing it's a combination of a bug in PT3 and perhaps a bad Windows install, or maybe even failing hardware.

I could've sworn I replied to that. The trial will be time based, and certain features will be disabled/stripped down. There will likely be a hand cap, but that might be left out for the first few releases until these performance issues are taken care of.

Do I really have to add each new stat to my HUD display by selecting it on the left pane then clicking up a thousand times to move it to the right spot on the right pane? This is taking an absurdly long amount of time for something that should be really simple.

Also is there anyway to see my combined stats from all sites? I can only look at one screenname at a time.

Finally, is there any way to pause importing so it doesn't start over and read all the hands it just imported as duplicates when I try to start again?
05-11-2008 , 10:24 PM
willy,

go to your name on the general tab. the first line should be name/site/icon. right below icon is aliases, thats where you add your other site names

also, the HUD stats shouldn't be a big deal. you do it once and you're set for good.

I'm aware that the current method of configuring the Hud isn't ideal. I will be reworking it to make it more user friendly.

Your second question was answered by the poster above me.

Are you referring to pausing auto-import? If so, there's no way to pause it, but if you set PT3 to move processed files, it will not need to keep importing the old files.
