did that and then got this: This is an older database. Imports and some reports may not work properly. Please create a new database.

then this was in the import status box. I am registered for a tournament gonna see if it will work anyway though.

2008/05/09 14:14:10: Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: PokerTracker is configured to import into an outdated database. This must be corrected before an import can succeed.
Go to the Database menu -> Database Management, highlight your old database and hit Export. Make sure your new database is Active, go to Manual Import, select the directory you exported to and import.

We haven't made up our minds on the trial. It will likely be time based combined with a hand import cap, though I may temporarily remove the cap until I'm sure the performance issues are resolved.

Yes, you can have two copies of PT3 accessing the same databases as long as they aren't both importing into the same database at the same time.

If it's not in there by commercial release, it will be available shortly after.

This thread (in the archives) should help:

How to use Poker Tracker (by Pokey)

Refers to PT2 obv, but the concepts are the same.

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 11 Release - 06-May-2008) - incl. HUD!

I have added 15 stats to the HUD.

But the HUD panels are sometimes not appearing. The HUD-thingy in the top-middle of the table is appearing.

Other times panels are only appearing after a very very long time.

Even if I open just 4 tables.

I guess its my not so state of the art-comp not handling it well?

Hmph, the total price is lower than I was expecting but 80% of the full price over the one year mark seems very harsh, although I guess you're not in this for charity and are practically guaranteed a sale for everyone in that category who's still a user.

Is the somewhat unspecified but attractive "bankroll feature" due for the first commercial release? If it's not, I hope you're not planning on selling this under a separate license.

Please contact us via our forums or support system. We'll get this figured out. You probably don't need to uninstall everything and that might just make things worse.

It's not just your computer. There are some performance problems we're working on.

Keep in mind that most software vendors don't offer upgrade costs to older customers. Some don't offer any discounts at all. I just had to pay full price for the new version of a software package I own an older version of... and this is $300 software. We tried to be fair. Long term owners of PT2 have had a long time to get their money's worth out of it and then some. New owners have had less time, that's why they get a bigger discount.

The bankroll management features will not be in the initial commercial release. They are still a little ways off.

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 11 Release - 06-May-2008) - incl. HUD!

Sorry if this is in the thread and I didn't see it anywhere, but...when this is out of beta and is a final release version, will the upgrade from v2 to v3 be free or cost a fee?

Yep, that was the problem. Thanks. Everything is still really laggy but I believe you when you say that the lag will be fixed.

Copy C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\Data\Layouts.pt3 (at least if you installed PT3 in C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3).

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 11 Release - 06-May-2008) - incl. HUD!

Thank you for all your work.

I have been using PokerTracker with no more problems than anyone else and I'm simply waiting to buy it.

I have one small(big) problem:

I have no idea what my password is, PokerTracker some how seems to know.

However I have bought another program that needs to use my password and I don't know where to find it.

Can you help or do I need to uninstall and install PostgresSQL again?
