i downloaded new beta version and it doesnt see my tournament bi amount. it shows hand and stuff but in the field tournaments there is nothing
i cant even write the results mannually

These most probably are trivial, but:

- I still cannot figure out a way how to specify that I have multiple users with different names and I want them all to be displayed together

- In the playback window, I would love to be able to go to the next/previous action with the arrows keys, like it used to be in PT2.

- How do I set that I want my default filter to be "today". I don't want to see all the database every time.

In your commercial release, will you guys have a "tutorial for dummies"? I play a ton of poker, and currently use PT2 + PAHUD, but when it comes to most computer stuff, I'm a novice--heck, even a dummy. For example, I don't really know what you're talking about when you tell us we have to change our database format. The simplest instructions on how to convert from PT2 to PT3 and how to get PT3 up and running would be helpful. I guess I'm requesting instructions in a form that even a dummy would have a hard time screwing them up.

Latest beta works on iPoker much better now.

One more thing that is very annoying is that part of popup stats sometimes show up out of the screen (if the table is near the side of the screen). I have to move it to see the stats I want.

When you selected your 'main' playername go to the General Tab. On the rightside of the screen you will find a list with the text 'Aliases' next to it. Click on Edit.
Now you can see all the aliases of the current user (none in your case at first). Click on Add. Search another playername. Click Ok. Repeat as many times as needed.

I'm working on this issue. Does it occur for both cash and tournaments, or just one?

There likely won't be, since the player's position is stored.

Do me a favor. Edit your layout and remove the "Default Popup" group. Let me know how that affects things.

Try reinstalling PT2. It's best to take PT2 support requests to the website, as this thread is intended for PT3 problems/questions.


I can't give an ETA. I'm going to try to get another beta in before the commercial release, but I can't guarantee it.

Make a backup of your Layouts.pt3 file and then edit your Hud Config and remove the Default Popup group. Let me know if this helps.

I'm not sure exactly, but all beta's will expire no later than May 15th at midnight.

Any sites that have tournament summaries, PT3 will support. We also plan on making it less painful to manually enter your results.

You need to re-import hands for the fix to be applied. Unfortunately, this means either purging your existing database of all hands or starting a new one.

Right-click the handles to either side and drag it to wherever you'd like it.

The first question has been answered by someone else. I'd like to have the keyboard shortcuts in the replayer. There's no "today' filter yet, but it's planned.

I've only tried this for heads up tournaments.

First time using HUD and I have a couple questions regarding HUD on PT3. Under the HUD Options in the Configure HUD CASH tab I see "Refresh Rates" and wasnt sure what this was for. There are three headings: Min, Max, and Refresh Every. With what appears to be four default options to choose from.

My last question is about the "Player Ranges" box which is right above the "Refresh Rates". What type of ranges would I be putting in here? Thank you for the help!! Erf

Migration path question:

I am getting a new computer tomorrow. I will be getting PT3 at commercial release I think and using it on the new computer. Is the way to migrate my old DB to PT3 going to be export everything from PT2, copy it over to the new computer, then do a big ass import? (It looks like there is some native import from previous DB's, but unless I figure out how to do that over the network, it doesn't really help me, and I have no real issues with just starting a massive export before I go to bed, then starting a massive import the next morning before I go to work.)

For the last 40min, I have been trying to define a new stat, that reports donk flop frequency.

The "donk" stats are defined for turn and river, but not for the flop.

I couldn't find a way to define the "donk flop count" or the "had opportunity to donk flop" stat

Can someone help?

One thing that needs to be fixed. When you set up a range color for aggressiveness it won't include infinity. I have my set so anything over 7 gets colored red, but it won't color infinity red even though it is greater than 7.

A workaround for that is to make the default color for the stat red. That way if it's outside the range (>100 or inf.) it will show up red.

Ok, so I'm using vista on my laptop an I played maybe 2000 hands on there and I'm trying to get the hands from my laptop to my desktop. I sent all the files from the processed HH file to be imported on my desktop, no luck. I went into my FTP directory and for some reason its not using the normal HH folder (*** vista, imo) its got some .dat folder for every account, so I tried sending that, no luck=/.

Where are these hands/can i just export them?

I imported my hands from my PT2 database to PT3 and I am having troubles with the HUD. I play on ipoker and the player names/stats that appear are not where they should be. Most of the times I will have stats of players not even sitting a the table. The stats also keep changing and they are always wrong. Please help.

So yesterday I tested the hud on Everest.
First I extracted +-150k HH from my pt2 db, and imported them in PT3 without pb.
Then I started playing 3 tables, the hud appeared really fast (as soon as I played one hand), I really like it. But a few orbit later, PT3 started to use 100% cpu usage and I had to kill it

Im getting this error alot when datamining party with PT3 auto import and FPHG:

I dont think the Sessions- By Time is quite accurate in determining
how many tables at a time your actually playing at at time.

It basically just clumps how many tables you played from start to finish
during the time period.

It shows I played 11 tables sessions in a 2 hr window....So I basically
table hopped for 2 hrs, but actually only played 4 at a time maximum.

In a previous post you said I could determine what the value of multitabling
X number of tables was, by adding the results for each table session value.

Are you sure you imported them into the active database?

Yes, the next release should have tournament summaries in the exports.

The MT Ratio gives you an average of how many tables at one time you played during your session. During your 11 table session, what is PT3 showing as your MT Ratio?
