is there anywhere to see the biggest winners and losers in this like pt2
01-25-2008 , 09:11 PM
I'm sure these questions have already been answered somewhere
already, but im sick of reading through these threads. When will this software support AP and when it does will it be fully functional?

We had this in our last alpha test prior to beta 1; however, it was incomplete and we were not happy with it so we removed it. It will make its way back into a beta release soon (although not the next one scheduled for later tonight).

Best regards,

Derek

AP support will be included after we release the HUD in a few weeks.

Final release is tentatively scheduled for the end of February; although, I am not sure how likely that is...

Database->Database Management. Click New, create your new database and set it as the default. Select the old database and click "Delete".

Best regards,

Derek

Ok, excuse my ignorance, I searched for the answer to this a little to no avail :

Does this beta already include a poker hud? If so, how do you run it.. thx.

No, but there's an AHK HUD script written by dave to be found on the PT3 forums.

Any chance of Cake support, ever?
01-25-2008 , 10:54 PM
Cake doesn't seem too interested in allowing PokerTracker to work with their site. We have been in discussion with them, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

With the FTP crash I mentioned earlier, the log file wasn't any help. It's a 11mb file filled with this:

2008/00/25 00:52:10.843: [00006876][PostgresConnection (Error)] Unable to execute query: COPY holdem_hand_summary FROM STDIN;; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: duplicate key violates unique constraint "hhs-unique_hand_no" CONTEXT: COPY holdem_hand_summary, line 1: "61241 300 3 97 1378216304 2006/12/09 10:34:41 2008/01/25 00:52:07 6 3 2 2 44.00 2.20 0.37 0 2609 2 5..." )

98% of the file (literally) is lines like that over a course of ~20 minutes. Probably because I started a database conversation then cancelled a little bit through the FTP hands, so when I started the import again there were a ton of duplicates.

This probably sounds really ******ed, but... What's the difference between player summary and player statistics? There is a big discrepancy between the two in terms of the # of hands, stats, $ won, etc.
01-25-2008 , 11:12 PM
The crashes with the manual file imports should be fixed with the next version. I'm still trying to figure out the PT2 -> PT3 conversion crash.

The Player Summary section shows a summary of the player's results. The Player Statistics shows the statistics of how the player plays. I should point out that the Player Summary isn't affected by filters that filter out individual hands, just filters like Site, Limit or Date.

I've released a new beta version that should fix most of the crashing that was happening with the file imports. The PT2 -> PT3 conversion crashes are still being investigated.

Please let me know if you are having crashes with the manual import in this version.

Hmm... This still doesn't explain some of the differences between the two. For example, in the player summary pane, it shows that I have played 5467 hands of HU at NL 100 and I won 1886.85$. But in the player statistics pane, it shows that I only played 1608 hands with $ won being 1840.95$. Is this normal? or have I done something wrong during the hand importing process? I should point out that I just loaded the hands from a folder where I kept the processed hands(from PT2). Should I do have done something else?
01-26-2008 , 12:01 AM
Do you have any filters set? Did you have any crashes during an import?
01-26-2008 , 12:03 AM
I sorted my hands so that it only shows the HU hands at NL 100. But even when I had no filter on, there were big differences between the two panes. (all the numbers across 4 limts that I played.) I had no crash during the import. It was flawless and around 150h/s.

Please import again using beta version 2 and let me know if you get similar results.

How to fix?
D-loaded the update...this is still occuring

I haven't touched the PT2 -> PT3 conversion in the new beta, so any problems with it are still in there. Try exporting the hands from PT2 and import them into PT3 using the manual import.
01-26-2008 , 12:28 AM
Are you importing text files that you exported from PT2?? Or are you using the PT2>PT3 direct conversion?

My HH Text File Import is flying along. ~160k hands in ~20 minutes. Will come back and edit with any initial issues if I notice any.

*Edit1 - So far so good. None of the disappearing hands I had in v1, and no discrepancies between various tabs. Adding an Alias takes a VERY long time (compared to your competition). It seems to lag/lock up pt3 so I cant do anything with PT3 while creating the alias. Adding the first of my 2 aliases has easily taken 4-5 minutes.

**Edit2 - Added my 2nd Alias, then got a pop up that this was an old DB and I needed tomake a new DB (which I just finished doing), and then the entire app crashed.

**I keep getting the Old DB warning, even tho I already deleted my old DB by your earlier instructions.

I'm glad you are at least giving this a look Fozzy

not usre if this was pointed out or not...

FTP has special tables that seem not to work on:

2008/01/26 00:57:32: Invalid hand history line: Full Tilt Poker Game #3260146255: Table CR - sbrugby - $0.05/$0.10 - No Limit Hold'em - 12:41:59 ET - 2007/08/15 (Line #154)

What language is this written in?

I was just doing a big import and the program ended with a windows error.

Then I re opened the program and it alerted me that there is a new version.

I am assuming these are related - just letting you know.
01-26-2008 , 01:03 AM
Fozzy, were you creating the alias while an import was running? Did the crash happen during an import?

Tickner, please attach one of these hand history files to a support ticket on our site. I'll get support for them.

PT3 is written in C++.
