Yeah I did too, and I suspect they (the developers, that is) did as well. One more week and it will have been a month and a half since the last build.

importing 140kish hands took twice as long on one computer as it did on another. any reason why that might be?

ok, I finally got to play a bit with this beta on party poker
and the situation is much worse than the previous beta

1. In the previous the default was 6max and I didn't have to click "treat as 6max" for every table
2. In case I open a new table after the hud and the autoimport was already started , no HUD was shown on the new table. I had to restart PT3 to get it working.
3. It rarely showed stats for Hero

These errors were very irritating since most of these things were working in the previous build...

Also as a feature request,please add a "Today" filter that can be selected by default...

I downloaded a Layout and Im using this one in the PT3 right now. But there's a problem with my PT3.

The Stats are on top of each other, can't read them. As soon as I sort them in the right positiion, I click on the PT3 symbol on the table und click "save layout" but this won't work. As soon as I join a second table, the layout jumps back to this one...

I even downloaded PT3 new, but didn't work

The same hands? (I have noticed myself that 6-max imports faster than full ring, which makes sense when you think about it.) If the specs of the computers are noticibly different it could have an affect; most notably if one is a desktop and the other is a laptop and the laptop has a slower hard drive, that would definitely slow things down.

We are going to look into further optimizing speeds on imports and queries once stability has been achieved.

(1) If you tick the "Adjust Qualifying Table Limits" from the auto-import it should recognize these tables as 6-max; is that not working for you?
(2) This is a known issue and will be resolved in the next release.
(3) This one I haven't heard about, though. Could you please follow the steps outlined in this forum post? It would help us track down exactly what is causing this behavior for you.

It looks like your layout has more than one group. Right click and drag the groups to separate spots (wherever you'd like them), then click PT Icon --> Save Layout. Then the groups won't overlap

Yes I have than one group, but that's the point. It won't save the layout correctly when I sepereate the spots it overlaps again

Has squeezing % been implemented yet?

Please enable logging (Configure --> Options --> Logging Enabled; restart if necessary), and reproduce this situation. Then please attach your Layouts.pt3, PokerTracker.log and PokerTrackerHud.log all zipped up to our support system and reference this post. I will make sure to take a look at it and forward it to the developers.

This data is in the database, though there aren't yet default statistics that rely on them. Please take a look at the custom statistics guide and database schema.

I really don't think I've ever been so confused.

I want to see who the biggest winners in my DB are.


Go to reports tab, create a new filter, name it XYZ. Click filters link. Click insert link. Insert filter expression "#BB Won#>100" (without quotes) Click validate. It is valid. Click save. Click sorting. See absolutely nothing. Click run report, see a weird string of winrates that don't seem to make any sense for anything.

The hud doesn't find my tables, they found like most of the tables but like one forth of the table it can't find. Also the stats only finds a few hands and the hand doesn't update. I guess this alredy has been said but just whanted to be sure and wonder when a fix will come?

We're on the Reports tab. Click on the drop down called Section and choose "Holdem Cash Player Statistics".

On the bottom left choose the "Informational" category, and double click "Player" and you will see it appear above in the Report Stats.

Then choose the "Money" category and choose Amount Won and double click it so that it appears as above in the report stats. (You can add BB/100, BB/Hand or whatever else you'd like by double clicking it as well.)

Click "Filter" and make sure "Filter on Active Player" is not checked.

Give your report a name, save it, and click "Run Report". When the report finishes populating if you click on the "Amount Won" column header it will sort by that column.

Are you running Beta 13? If not, please download and install Beta 13 without PostgreSQL from the downloads page (scroll down past Build 2) and see if that resolves your problems. If it doesn't, please follow the directions listed in this forum post. The more information we receive about these sorts of errors the easier it is for us to locate and fix them, so we do appreciate it when you submit these logs.

When are we going to be able to have different hud layouts for each site?

PAHUD was able to show stats we had while observing tables without being seated on Party and Stars. Is this going to be possible with the PT3 hud?

Just to break up the tone of animosity in this thread, let me say that I'm digging PT3 very much. Yes, it's a little buggy and unstable at the moment, but even so it's superior (for my purposes) to PT2, and the thought that clearly went into the program's layout and functionality suggests that it will be unremittingly awesome once the bugs get fixed.

Also, big ups to the PokerTracker people for maintaining a constant presence on twoplustwo. It would have been totally standard for them just to tell people to read the online documentation for how-to info, and to communicate through the the PT website for bug fixes. This thread has been a lot more convenient than that, however. This user, at least, is appreciative.

I used the auto-import while playing a mixed limit game (PLHE/PLO) with the "Moved Processed Files" option checked. Obviously I got "Unrecognized game type" errors, but when I clicked "Stop Import", it moved the file anyway. I don't think it should do this.

EDIT: Apparantly PTO does this too even though it doesn't import the PLHE hands. When you guys get around to working on the PT3 Omaha, what's the plan? Will it be integrated into the PT3 that's already out (it should)? Will it still cost extra (it shouldn't )?

This is fairly high on our list of features to add; unfortunately I cannot give an ETA beyond that.

No, these files shouldn't be moved by PT3; I've made a note of it and I'll make sure the developers take a look at it. It's not the highest priority, though, so I can't say exactly when it will happen.

The plan with PT3 Omaha is to have it be another tab in the PT3 application. It will cost extra, though (sorry).

i wanna start playing different games at the same time on pokerstars. Is it possible that i use both at the same time PT3 and pt0 and they find the tables they fit in? so i wanna play 4-6 nl tables and 2-4 plo tables?and each program only uses stats for their game?

i have a couple of freeroll tournaments in my database that i want to delete because i think they're causing a problem with creating an alias (i just submitted a ticket and log file about it). is there any way to just delete those tournaments from the db? i found one post from a while back that said deleting selective data wasn't available yet but should be by the time of the commercial release, but i still can't find an option to do so or anything. thanks.

Yes this is fine. Just untick "move processed files" in PT3 for now, or make sure you don't stop auto-import while you are still playing PLO.

i am not loving the new HUD on PT3.

1. I dont get why the player name needs to be written there? that seems redundant.

2. I think it was easier to read stats on the old HUD. this one is so much smaller and harder to see.

Are you running Beta 13? If not you should download and install Beta 13 Without PostgreSQL and it should fix this SB error. If you have any hands that should have imported as steal attempts but did not, please submit those hand histories as attachments to our support system and we will make sure to correct the issue.

I'm not sure what could be causing your raise BB vs Steal Attempt summary to be incorrect. Perhaps you imported some hands a while back when we still had errors with these statistics, and those errors are still recurring? (Has anyone else seen this issue?)

Unfortunately selective purge is still not available. We have been focusing our development on fixing known issues with the HUD and its stability. Once we get these issues sorted completely we will go back to adding in new features and this will be one of the first new features added.
